@louise•• same I feel so damn bad for him in the finale. He doesn’t know what happened to her or her family. He is all alone and not even a friend at his side. I hope next season topper will attempt to find them and Sarah will give closure to toppers love to her and help him be friends with the pogues since she is a full one now and considers them family.

@@roy.shrestha yea I do believe while he will accept Sarah’s decision eventually, I also do believe that he will be friends with the pogues by the end of the series.
I really like topper, he’s got some issues, he’s got bad anger issues and is rude to almost everyone, but he’s been there for sarah as a friend when she’s needed it. I hope they become friends because he’s a good guy I think deep down and he could be a great friend. But I don’t think Sarah will ever love him the way she loves john b.

@MelissaMikaelson True, but some of that hate issues topper has is because of rafes influence on him and that came to head when Rafe nearly killed her. And At least topper and Rafe friendship is now over. I hope in season 3 topper will have real friends with Sarah and the pogues, and Sarah will help guide him because he is all alone with not one real friend or even a family that loves him right now.
@@TheCA1235 well I disagree with that, topper had and still has bad anger issues and questionable behavior, but he seemed to get better as a person and I hope they fix his character. I don’t see how Rafe influenced him, they don’t seem to be super close friends in season 1
@@KoolKukumber there were times in season 1 where topper hesitated or didn’t want to get involved, and Rafe told him the pogues always start stuff which ain’t true
Thats messed up
when you re-watch season one you'll see that Topper is really the product of a bad environment. Almost all the bad things he did in season one were either immediately regretted after or hyped up by Rafe in the first place 😢

I just hope his ending sets up something big for him next season

Topper ending was something else this season and your right. Topper has zero idea about what’s been going on in obx with the treasure hunts and the Cameron’s . I hope his ending this season finally sets up his redemption arc that we are waiting for because I do believe that it will happen for his character.

@ImaanKhan Real upset that topper got shoved aside this season in screen time, but at least they set up something for him in the finale Because topper being alone with no family and friends that love him is too sad. I hope he finally gets filled in on what’s going on with everything next season.

I never thought of Topper as a bad person, but him with Sarah just doesn't match as John B and Sarah do. I do want Topper to be happy but I just don't see him and Sarah being happy
@LucyVoce yea same, everyone thought this season was his redemption arc, but it was only for Sarah not the pogues. Right now topper is lonely and alone with not even 1 friend since Sarah and whole family is gone. I got a feeling next season will finally start his path to redemption since he probably will attempt to find everyone and with Sarah being full pogue now. She will influence him to change his ways.

he can be a jerk, but the best out of the kooks. he told his mom not to press charges on pope even though he pretty much destroyed his property and when all the kooks were insulting John B in the restaurant, he was the only one defending him saying,"wait there still investigating" and calming JJ down cause he can tell he was hurting.
Ok gotta be FR rn. Topper needs to have a bigger role next season if he’s still a main because we felt he was barely in this season because he doesn’t know anything that’s going on rn. Hopefully what they set up for him in the finale will play out a lot next season.

I have always loved topper from the beginning. Yeah he had some issues but Sarah put him thru a lot of hell too and cheated on him and he still helped her get away and saved her life and respects and is there for her. He loves Sarah so much. I like Sarah and Topper better than Sarah and John B. I honestly think Topper loves Sarah more
I feel like if it was Topper instead of John with Sarah when the cops were chasing them in the season 1 finale, he would be a lot more responsible than John B and would rather save her life and go to jail rather than go into the storm and possibly have her killed with himself. John B’s decisions are always purely ego centered and I feel like they fell in love with the circumstances and not with one another. Like John B was an escape for Sarah, a getaway card and Sarah was the only one that took John and the treasure hunt seriously from the first second and went to an adventure with him opposed to Kiara for example who didn’t believe John at first.

I like topper sometimes I just don’t like him with Sarah like Sarah and John B definitely have more chemistry and are definitely end game I want topper to be happy also and I hope he gets a happy ending just not with Sarah
We can all agree that out of all the kooks on the show. Topper is the one we all see that deserves to be redeemed and his ending season I hope can start going towards that route.

@jaydenhines agreed 100% topper ain’t a bad person, his family and Rafe don’t care about him at all. His mother in season 1 blames him immediately for something he didn’t do and when they did find out who did it she completely put him toward the side. Season 2 did the same thing with his grandfather, he just ignored topper and I’m glad topper understands who Rafe is when he tired to drown Sarah. He maybe a kook and rich but he realizes now that he has no family or friends and I hope season 3 topper can start making amends with the pogues.

Topper cares about Sara much more then she ever did about him. She was actualy pretty bad girlfriend to him with all the lying, cheating, leading on and ghosting. He was often being a dick to everyone because of rafe’s influance but his intentions towards Sara where always pure. The way he cared for her even though she was with John b realy showed that he wants to be a good guy. I hope that in future seasons he will find a girl able to fully reciprocate his feelings (but not to soon for drama’s sake)

I really hope that they give topper a bigger role and having more to do with the pogues because it’s clear that out of all of the kooks he’s the only one is isn’t a complete douche. For example when pope wrecked his boat he told his mom not to press charges and was hesitant when his mom did so. He helped John b and Sarah in the clock tower. And In the restaurant he stuck up for John b and was trying to help jj because he could tell jj was hurting.

It wasn’t 100% her fault. Her family is also responsible for what’s happened and the very sad thing is the topper has literally no idea what’s been going on in the OBX or what’s happened to Sarah. He’s completely alone and I hope in season 3 he has a bigger story than what we got in season 2

I really like the series😍, including the character of the Topper, but he looks a lot older than 16 years. 😜 If Rafe looks even younger than Topper and he is 20 years in his role old then it would be more appropriate to let Topper be at least 20 years old.

Unpopular opinion but with Sarah i like Tooper more than John B. I think that he's a good person even tho he treated badly the Pogues. Sarah clearly has feelings for him and she feels safe so they could be good together but now wouldn't make sense since she's all in Pogues mood changing side due to her family (and I didn't like eather when her dad was supposed dead and John B didn't take in consideration her suffering)

I don't trust his character. He is manipulative, deceptive and always puts the pogues down saying "they dont feel things the way we do" etc. He also has a bad temper and comes across as controlling.
