Drifting in Carbon it's so damn good and fun to do bro. One of the few games who makes the drift events funny due the adrenaline of making the fastest and most ridiculous drift ever.
In Unbound, the drifting experience without drift pro tires is largely dependent on which car you use. Some cars are easier to get sideways because the rear end loses traction quicker.
I still have to give it to Need For Speed Underground 1,2 because I still have love for those two games but with NFS Carbon everybody back in the day just goes for the world record of best drifting and I still today people can go back to that game and still go for it but with NFS Unbound it's not bad the chaining system really wish knew how I can get the best chain drifting but I'll give NFS Unbound drift and drag update 8/10
i swear prostreet drifting is some of the most broken drift physics ive ever seen, a few reasons why are . you follow some sort of rail, making drifting feel very unnatural, also it can throw you off balance completely . if you use the casual assist, drifting completely breaks and you can use the handbrake to get like 10000 points on the shortest track . tokyo dockyards exists
The guy is right. Drifting in ProStreet is extremely broken. I wouldn't say outright bad but it doesn't make sense most of the time, especially when your car suddenly starts drifting BACKWARDS or how you can gather a massive amount of points by drifting in the wall, while usual drifting will get you nowhere, especially at Tokyo Dockyard. I completely agree that it's unnatural. In Carbon it's at the very least predictable and fun unlike ProStreet.
I feel your actually right with realistic drifting in heat somewhat but something is missing, and drifting in carbon is fun yes rather exciting for me it's still underground 2 all the way even of the none existence features in comparison to modern or current exposit
ill never forget the days i grinded drift track 1 on underground for HOURS just to get them style points, idc whatever people say, underground will be my most favorite nfs game ever.
The best and most enjoyable drift events undoubtedly are both NFS UNDERGROUND games, NFS CARBON and NFS HEAT. Unbound's drift mechanics looked like it came from NFS NO LIMITS.
what is the song before every clip? i Heard it a million times but i dont remember from what i heard it btw i have the feeling its something i can hear in Dirt, chill af music... btw congrats for the 100k another btw, 2015 is by far the worst drift physics i ever seen in my life... wtf is that ahahaha
honestly unbound is the coolest nfs game in 10 or even 15 years, i love that they keep that game alive unlike how much of a throwaway release Heat was, and how small the earlier updates to 2015 and payback were. At this point i think only World's new content lasted longer, and it was way less involved than Unbound's rather fundamental changes. And yeah, i know thats more from necesity than good will (ea's bs B*ttlefield choices), but that good will is present anyway at criterion. I really don't see why people still keep hating on this game - even i think i got my money's worth from grabbing the Palace on premiere (massively overpriced but you gotta do what you gotta do to honor our soldier - milkshake brain PR agent), and we're still only halfway through kaizen cycle one thing i'd look into for future videos like this one - for some games that offered more types of drift areas like the city streets or canyons (mostly U2 and Carbon that you've shown only on the closed track), i would include some bits of gameplay in those enviroments too since they do allow for some more variety (traffic, breakable canyon barriers)
At this point any redeeming traits (and to be clear yes, I enjoy my time on Unbound) newer NFS games have are basically despite the NFS "community" - the most vocal members of the community have their minds frozen in the 2004-2006 period and hate everything since simply because it's not Underground 2/Most Wanted 2005/Carbon. They just want the same experience cloned forever.
NFSU2 hill drifts are still the best in the series. You hand insane amounts of control with a right setup adn the skill ceiling was in the sky. Like I could actually carry over some techinques I learnt from Richard Burns Rally. Nfs heat is nice too but you lose energy too realistically and the tracks are horrible aside from the stadium and the few hillside ones.
I love how in most of the NFS games the drifting is absolute ass. 😂 Only really good ones were Ug1 & Ug2. Carbon was a lot of fun and Pro Street was fine.
In need for speed unboundedit doesn't look like drifting it feels like force turning the car to drift because of how bad the suspension are and the drift capability in the car to actually slide.
@@delciobartolomeu2636 og unbound was weird beause they mashed the gamemode with takeovers (payback speedcross basically), the drift pro is pretty sick honestly and i only wish it was easier to retain your points from one corner to the next like in that bugged bmw m2
