@@richardfrench2863 yes, Lions win if the offense / Goff play a good game. But that wouldn't be enough against Philly with that defensive performance, and it certainly wouldn't be enough against KC/BUF if somehow the offense played nearly perfect enough to beat Philly.
My dad just turned 60, has been a Lions fan his whole life, and was recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. I really thought this would be the year he’d finally be able to see a Lions Super Bowl…
@All-Beef-Hotdog, yes same. My dad is 82, also a Lions fan all his life, and raised us the same. Diagnosed August 2024 with stage 4 lung cancer that spread to his bones. He has been thrilled with this season and yes, I so wanted him to get his wish. I'm hanging on to hope on so many levels💙🤍
Dedicated lions lifer here! It was a tough loss with lots of alcohol to drink, but I am also used to the numb feeling of losing! We always say as lions fans, there’s always next year
I am 67 years old. Grew up in Detroit and consider myself to be a complete sports fan. While I was disappointed to see the Lions finish the season like this I am not abandoning ship. We have made great strides towards respectability. Whereas we used to be the team everyone liked to beat up on we are now the team no one wants to play. Even with as banged up as we are. This team is built to last and next year we will continue to improve. And before anyone tells me that "this was it, chance is gone forever" I will remind you of another Detroit team that was known for losing every year despite great players. The Pistons. Even when Thomas, Dumars, Laimbeer and the rest were on the verge of finally moving to the top and winning that elusive title of "THE BEST" they lost, in heartbreaking fashion when they seemingly had it won not once but twice and a lot of people were writing them off as "never will be's" this city believed and in the end it paid off. I believe in the Lions and am already looking forward to seeing it pay off. Hopefully next year but I do believe it will pay off. Good vid
67 born in Detroit also and i'm with ya brother, and if memory serves me right Pistons couldn't quite claim it all in 88 but they come back in 89 and 90 GO LIONS 25/26
didn't the red wings also esperince this in the mid 90s. lost 2x before they finally went nunts? also. mihigan was always just behind, then they finally made the playoffs for the first time. got beat bad motivvated them like crazy the next year. then lost to a much easier team they NEVER should have lost to , the third year htey finally wne trazy and won it all this is literally almost the same
Well said! Grew up listening to Pistons and Tigers mostly. But the Lions were in the background. Correlating with events in my personal life, I began to notice the Lions last year as they turned a corner. And this shocking loss postseason doesn't dampen my spirits, it reinvigorates them. I'm very sad that we lost, but I'm certain that the Lions will regroup, heal, train, and return next season even better than last year. 5 or 10 years ago, if you'd told people that the Lions would be back to back NFC North Division champs and 15-2 and a 1st seed holder...... you'd be laughed down the street.
The egg they laid was on Johnson in my eyes. They looked undisciplined and expecting to just show up and win, especially on offense. With about 10 minutes left and moving the ball Johnson puts in a play that has Jamison Williams throw a 30 yard pick and all I could do is shake my head and say "WTF was that?"! In 2 minutes they were down 17 and looking for miracles.
The Lions won 15 of the 18 games they played this year despite fielding the youngest defense in the league. The team is going to be very good for the next few years.
Didn't the Rams have the youngest D? And what did winning 15 games mean?? ABSOLUTELY NOTHING 🤣🤣🤣 you see they play to win in the playoffs not the regular season duh
I have said this for years and years.... long before it became general knowledge...but the Buffalo Bills truly have one of the best fan bases in the NFL.
As a lifelong LIONS fan. I have been rooting for the Bills the last couple of seasons. I really hope you guys can finally stick the fork in the Chiefs next week.
This reminded me of the 1987 49ers who were 13-2 and looked like they were going to the Super Bowl. Then, the Minnesota Vikings showed up at Candlestick Park and ended San Francisco’s season. Bill Walsh was almost fired. The next year they went 6-5 and Walsh it looked like it was over, but then they finished 4-1 and went on to win the Super Bowl.
Similar to what happened to Broncos in 96 (my husband is a fan)…they were the #1 seed and choked but came back to win a SB the next year. You never know in football
@@dougr188which is exactly what everyone said last year. And during this year. Yes the SB is the goal but it doesn't erase the fact that they got even better year after year for a few years in a row. It's not even your team so quit projecting your insecurity

Have they not been watching the Redskins and Jayden Daniels? Yes, they will always be the Redskins to me. Even with Detroit's defense without injuries, they would have had just as much of a problem getting to Daniels and containing their offense. The reason why the Lions lost is poor coaching on offense. They needed to score on nearly every possession to stay in the game with the Redskins. I’m not a lions fan and I’m not discrediting the commanders in any way when I say this, but the lions were far too banged up for any meaningful postseason run this year. Even if they got through Washington I think Philly rolls them. They just lost too many important players like hutch,McNeil,Robertson, Davis,Montgomery etc. it’s gonna be interesting who Campbell hires for the coordinator jobs as they both will probably be open.
@@richardfrench2863 yes but asking the offense to be perfect or near perfect every time is so damn hard. The defense needs to be at least reliable to make some stops. As a result the TO's would drop because the pressure is not on to press to just keep pace
I hope they promote Kalvin Shephard their LB coach to DC. The players respect him alot. For OC, they need to promote assistant HC/RB coach Scotty Montgomery or Mark Brunnell there QB coach. That's what I think happends.
They took their eyes off the ball. The entire 2 weeks was more about who's interviewing with who. Our coaching staff was all over the place. Trick play interception. What an ignorant time to have someone who isn't a qb toss an INT.
It wasn't really the worst game, it's just that DC was better and played better. The Lions were still able to put up a lot of points, which used to saved them in the regular season.
Yeah, but they sure nailed those first down celebrations and TD dances. They seem to put a lot of time and effort into that, so it's good to see it pay off.
@@HardCold-Alquan 100% EXACTLY. The Lions still put up 31 points, which is literally the second most points scored in the Divisional round (only behind Washington). I'm not saying that the Lions deserves a participation trophy, but that they still managed to score a lot IN SPITE of their errors. Hell, the Lions scored more in that game than the Vikings and Packers did combined (Vikings 9 + Packers 10 = 21 total, versus Lions 31). It just gives me reason to believe that their window is far from closed if they can still put up points while hobbled.
Even so this will make these LIONS stronger! They have come so far I the past couple seasons! 45 years as a LIONS fan! Ne er give up! LOVE to LOVE these LIONS ❤

Ben Johnson just left for Chicago, and maybe that's a good thing. Gibbs only had 20 touches, while Goff threw the rock 40 times. Your defense is full of 4th-string guys now, and Daniels & Co. can score. Trying to ensure all of your playmakers eat does not work in the playoffs. Slow the game down, keep Daniels on the sideline, and lean on your best player - which is absolutely Gibbs and not Goff.
It dove me crazy every time Gibbs touched the ball he made something happen WTF was Ben Johnson doing it was almost like he sabotaged the game WTF was he calling so infuriating and so heartbreaking
This game was in many ways like the Buccaneers game the Lions lost. Goff passing too much and not utilizing his rushers. That said, Goff is GREAT but not elite, but that's OK. Goff doesnt NEED to be 100%, even if he's good only 70% of the time, then use him in those situations and have the other 30% be Gibbs and Monty.
Comon you can't be that surprised. When you have so many injuries on defense, you may get away with it in the regular season but in the playoffs that will get exposed, and they did. Lions are a great team that were unfortunate with all the injuries. They can easily be a treat next season.
Lions fans were already talking Super Bowl, this is what happens when you suck for 50 years and you have one good season. They need to learn that winning a Super Bowl is a lot harder than running through your low level schedule during the regular season.
sunday at the grocery store was depression central for lions fans, on a side note its that time of year to choose a team to root for in the superbowl and i think Buffalo will become the detroit surrogate for rooting.
Nicely done video...I appreciate Mr Eisen's commentary and perspective as regards the Detroit Lions. I apologize for calling him a clown in the comments a couple videos ago.
I'm a Niners fan, but I feel really bad for the Lions fans. The Lions really played their hearts out this season and I was hoping they'd go all the way (since my Niners were out of it). I have hope for the Lions next season and the one after that, though, because I don't think they're a one and done team as far as their shot. This current Lions team was built like Detroit used to build cars in the golden era...to last!
@@WoodyJ98 Yes, and in my opinion, a very foreseeable and unfortunate byproduct of the owners wanting to extend the season to a ridiculous 18 weeks. I remember when it was 14 weeks, but extending to 18 weeks is just asking for injuries.
They will be back. The Red Wings and Pistons both went through tough playoff losses and eventually won it all. The Lions can too. This was two straight years of not reaching the ultimate goal which is winning a championship. I expect them to be even more focused on it next season. If you thought this year was good you haven't seen nothing yet. This is a damn good football team here.
But, what about the Tigers, and those painful WS losses to the Cardinals and the Giants. They have not been able to win it all, despite all the money they spent on free-agents, and are in the rebuild cycle again.
As a Lions' fan, I still believe we have the foundation to get back next year! I love our team and have been here for all the ups and downs and always will be.
They've got the right coach, the right GM, and all of the key players are coming back and will be healthy. If their bodies can stay intact, I feel confident they will contend again. You don't get unlimited chances, but I think they can be stronger next year. They were too injury riddled to go all the way. It was amazing they did as well as they did.
You're simply a new Lions fan that doesn't know how this works. Every few years or so they stick their heads up to relevance, show promise, crap the bed and disappear. Next year they won't even make the playoffs.
I'm proud as heck of the Lions! They played tough as hell every game, broke multiple franchise records, won the NFC North, clinched the number seed in the NFC, credit to the commanders, they played outstanding, but Detroit will be back next season and they'll be even better. Man did they make us proud!! Go Lions 🦁💙
As a Lions fan, I thought we could win it ALL, but I also thought we could lose the SB or maybe lose the NFC championship game. I did NOT think we would lose in game 1. wow. just a huge disappointment. Goff made mistakes, but so did Jamo and so did almost the entire defense. I blame the coordinators mostly. just dumb play-calling on both sides.
I'm a lifelong Bengals fan living in Michigan among Lions fans. Last 2 years have been fun for the Lions but you never know what the future holds. Bengals went Super Bowl, AFC Championship. Had Burrow, a young core, and cap space. But now two years with no playoffs. Nothing is guaranteed.
I live in near Pittsburgh. I caught on to the edge of your seat, exciting Lions football. I forgot how much of a rush a good football game was . For a Steeler fan ,I don't even get disappointed anymore in the Pittsburgh post season.. failure is expected with what I believe is an incompetent Steeler head coach.. Thank You Detroit Lions for reminding me how much joy a imperfect team with heart and grit can do :)
@@future_elevator_music Everyone has injuries but comparing teams with 3-5 players inured and maybe 1 or 2 of those being above average to the Lions injuries with 16-20 IR guys is disingenuous. Lions were missing stars, solid starters, and all the depth behind those guys who could have been competent. A defense has probably never been as injured as theirs
I’m so sad. Nothing else to really say. I don’t feel like throwing blame around, I just want to teleport to next year and pray we actually stay healthy.
I'm 72yo and the last two seasons have been steak and lobster, with homemade apple pie. Yeah, I would have liked the Lions to go to an S.Bowl, but that said I would not trade the appx. 30 games I enjoyed in the last 2yr.s
Although I am very bitter after another epic failure by Lions, I am also grateful to God for allowing me to witness Detroit Lions receive just a moment of respect for once in my 68 years.
I believe the bye week killed us. Our team has been on their TOES all season BOAT RACING MN for the Division Title. Don’t get me wrong.. Our boys NEEDED the rest… but I think we lost our edge, our sharpness from the rest. Our team hasn’t seen rest since week 5. To add that now, was trouble. It wasn’t NORMAL. The defense struggling doesn’t surprise me. This season has taken EVERYTHING from them. It felt like it was gonna cost them their first born children for a Super Bowl.. Anyway.. I’m proud of the Lions and enjoyed watching them! Best wishes to them and their families this offseason.
Tough loss...However the Lions are going to be contenders for the foreseeable future. After decades of ineptitude the team is giving us hope...and entertainment.
The curse of Bobby Lane is still active until Lions win the Championship/Super Bowl. The curse is still active until they win, even with 15-2 season does not exempt the team from the curse.
@erinlietaert6002 Agreed. But the truth is Detroit simply had too many injuries on the defensive side of the ball which led to overcompensating offensively.
Lions fan here. 🦁Can't win playoffs with turnovers. Goff will still bring the Lombardi Trophy to Detroit with a healthy defense. With high expectations, this lose hurts. We will be back in the playoffs next year.
That last comment says it all: the wrong night to make that many mistakes, and the wrong team to do it against. Much different situation than the 5 TOs against Houston (no offense to them). That said I still think this is the right core to keep the Lions as contenders for the foreseeable future. A bad playoff exit doesn't wipe out all of the good they did this year.
Like I told my son and his buddies who are in their 20s , man we went through the same thing with the RedWings in the 90s, 95 Finals, lose even tho heavily favored. 96 best record of all time at the time and lost in 7 to Colorado in a dramatic series ending in Drapers injury from a bad hit from behind. 97 finally saw glory (and 98) so my thoughts are this window is still open and next year everyone and then some will be back on defense so look out this is unfinished business!!
You just can't compare the Lions situation to any other sports organization on earth. They have been inept for six decades non stop until recently. It's a false equivalence, in my opinion.
Love our Detroit Lions... Dan Campbell is a great Coach!! The guys love him.. He has compassion for his guys and it shows!!! They respect him.. That's what a good coach does!! Thanks for the best year ever!!! The City of Detroit loves the excitement you have brought us....Detroit Pride!! Coach of the Year!! 🏆 🏆🏆... 💪💪👏👏💙🤍......
And our BEST players Hutch is an All Pro. McNeill is an All Pro. Barnes is a very good LB Davis is a very good CB Plus all the other and we lost All Pro Safety Branch in the game and our very good CB on the first play. Still 5 TO!!!! that bonehead coaching on the 4th down!
Jayden Daniels played against the number one defense {at the time don't know if they still are} Eagles and the Commanders had turned the ball over 5 times in that game and the Commanders still won because of Jayden Daniels. He would still have beaten the Lions defense at full strength. Sorry man better luck next year.
I was hoping this was the year as I was less than 1 year old the last time the Lions were champions. The players and coaches have to be proud of what they accomplished this year. Aaron Glenn ran that defense with smoke and mirrors towards the end of the season. With the number of defensive injuries most teams would have loss the games the Lions won. They finally met a team that they could not out score. When it comes to free agents, they now have a team players want to play for instead of get away from. When they start the new season, the Lions are going to be a fun team to watch.
As a lifelong Lions fan, just hoping to see a Super Bowl appearance by the Lions before I die, I was not surprised by the loss Saturday. 30+ years between playoff wins really lowers your expectations.
Unfortunately, though, no team has ever won the Super Bowl the season after replacing both their coordinators. So I fear that next year, where you hopefully get more of the defenders healthy for a whole season, is going to end up being a lost season unless something miraculous happens.
I think we were all riding high on a healthy amount of delusion as Lions fans. With a defense this decimated, week 18 gave us hope we might be able to push through to at least the SB, and we well could have, but our QB had a bad night, combined with uncomplimentary football being played and losing another star defender on our 2nd defensive snap, it just probably wasn't meant to be. That being said, I feel most teams in the Lions' situation would have given up and rolled over long before in the regular season, called this season a bust and chilled out waiting for next year's go around. But these dudes fought their asses off and got the #1 seed for the first time in franchise history, delivering the best regular season we've ever had. Gonna need to reset for another season or two, but when most the team is healthy and firing on all cylinders, watch out, they can beat anyone, which they'll have to prove this next season having probably the hardest schedule of any team in the league.
It was a frustrating game to watch. Lions kept forcing plays while they had Gibbs running for 10 yards a carry. I couldn't understand what they were doing..... You're going up against an insanely hot rookie QB and have a banged up struggling defense....Run the ball and protect it and keep them off the field
I love how everyone wants to give Jack Daniels praise, yet Jared had more yards passing and Lions had more rushing yards......turnovers were the story....oh yeah, and Lions still had half a defense.....FACTS, JUST FACTS
In spite of the tremendous loss of starters due to injuries, the Lions had a great season no doubt. But when it comes to the playoffs, you cannot turn the ball over 5 times, one for a pick-6, and give up 35+ points and expect to win. And Goff had a crap day. Hopefully we can retain our awesome coaching staff and have a healthy roster next season and get another shot.
The Lions turned their franchise around due to alignment from ownership down to the players. They overcame a great deal this year, but instead of taking it up a notch they started making mistakes. The defense didn’t stop a very good and hot Commanders offense and the turnovers were the difference. Great win by them. Now the Lions are faced with adversity of replacing one, two, and perhaps more coaches. But, the culture has been turned and we will see what they can do next year and beyond. I personally think they will heal, recover, and use this as fuel. Go Lions!
Not making excuses. However the Lions have 18 players on IRL. I understand injuries are part of the game. Yet they do change a team’s performance. The Lions defense was missing 3-4 starters and just couldn’t stop the Commanders
I agree. It takes a while to learn how to win. We love football because it's so hard. The lions are shedding decades of losing. They are young, but growing.
Time for Detroit to start signing this young talent to big deals which means they’re going to start leaving, they better hit it out of the park at the draft or that championship window is closed, if it was ever open
Anybody who says injuries didn't matter or every team is "banged up" yes that is true, but they had 15 dudes on IR including a superstar top 5 at his position and top 10 at another with Mcneil. They lost all the depth they had on the D Line. They lost their #2-3 DB to a broken arm on the 2nd play of the game. They had a rookie Terrion Arnold as their #1 with no reliable depth behind him. Even if Detroit somehow escapes past Washington, Eagles would've beat them. Goff didn't do them any favors fumbling inside the 20 and then throwing a pick 6 and another INT before the half when they marched right down the field. It sucks but this is part of the game. Everything can go so well until it doesn't and injuries to huge pieces can derail your season. We all saw this coming weeks ago during the Buffalo game when Josh Allen went up and down the field. Washington had all their guys and Detroit scored 31 with 5 turnovers. Detroit wins that game 9-10 times if both teams are full strength.
We weren't using defensive injuries as an excuse when we were winning all regular season. Why should one game change the narrative? Simple fact is AG got outschemed. Washington exploited an overly aggressive defense and got a free 21 points out of 5 Detroit turnovers.
Cool! Maybe they’ll still send them a trophy, and someday you can tell your kids about how they should have won the Super Bowl this year if that pesky actual game hadn’t happened 😂
By snap-weighted age the Lions had the youngest defense in the league this year. Winning of 15 of 18 games with the youngest defense is actually impressive. Packers fans spent all year creaming their jeans because their young defense is going to get better in the next few years. That's true, but it's also true of the Lions.
Window has closed now. Last year was their best chance to get there playing a banged up SF team, plus those two soft playoff games with the Bucs and Rams. Campbell cost them their chance last year and I would argue this year also with those stupid cute plays.
Coach - thats why you all make what you make - good to see some Extreme Ownership (Jocko) in the press meeting. Just a business folks.... good year overall Detroit.

That and Goff playing like crap. If he plays well, Lions win.
You really think it was the injuries and not Goff forcing throws and gifting the commanders 5 turnovers?
@@richardfrench2863 yes, Lions win if the offense / Goff play a good game. But that wouldn't be enough against Philly with that defensive performance, and it certainly wouldn't be enough against KC/BUF if somehow the offense played nearly perfect enough to beat Philly.
And the bad coaching
My dad just turned 60, has been a Lions fan his whole life, and was recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer. I really thought this would be the year he’d finally be able to see a Lions Super Bowl…

You have the top three most important things a winning team need : owner, gm and head coach .
didn't the red wings also esperince this in the mid 90s. lost 2x before they finally went nunts?
also. mihigan was always just behind, then they finally made the playoffs for the first time. got beat bad motivvated them like crazy the next year. then lost to a much easier team they NEVER should have lost to , the third year htey finally wne trazy and won it all this is literally almost the same
Ya nice to be all possible blah blah blah I thiBEN JOHNSON literally threw the game. He JUST SIGNED AS H.C. IN SHITcago....I'm so pissed
Too bad Ben Johnson had more important things to do. Like hiring his new assistants and what not.
Ben would of had to score 50 to win lmaooo, zero defense but lets blame Ben
Campbell is a class act. There is a love and unity amongst this whole organization, and guaranteed, they win together and will lose together.
They'll lose together, then people will get fired and traded or enter free agency. Then they won't be together anymore.

As a Bills fan I can relate....great run...too many injuries too many mistakes...but you're set up great for another run next season😊
Grasping at straws. This was the shot. They blew it and it's time to reset and start over. Goff out, Campbell out, Holmes out.
@@SB-vv2bl And they lost to the Jacksonville Jaguars a third-year expansion team.

@@vincentjohnflorio thanks for the free comedy! Anyone who believed the 8.5 point spread favoring the Lions AND that the Lions were going to the Super Bowl is too stupid for words. When the Lions decided to start David Montgomery at RB and went 3 and out - that was one of the biggest bone-headed coaching decisions of the game - and it spelled doom. 12 men on the field when the Redskins had a 4th and 2 inside the 5 giving the Redskins a 1st down? However, the reason the Lions lost is none other than Jared "Herman Munster" Goff. He has little to zero mobility. When a defense rushes him up the middle, it's all over. 12 men on field. No time out. Run Gibbs Run

Well, maybe Jacksonville.
Yeah they lost even 3 defenders in this game alone and that would have been a really rough game against Philly
I felt it coming. They were asking the offense to do too much. Eventually you get burned.
Exactly. Even the greatest show on turf needed an 11-6 win in the playoffs

They took their eyes off the ball. The entire 2 weeks was more about who's interviewing with who. Our coaching staff was all over the place. Trick play interception. What an ignorant time to have someone who isn't a qb toss an INT.
Lions played their worst game at the worst possible time. Tough to win with so many turnovers.

He only had 12 touches!! Ben Johnson cost them with his play calling! Making Goff throw 40+ times!
You are so right
It dove me crazy every time Gibbs touched the ball he made something happen WTF was Ben Johnson doing it was almost like he sabotaged the game WTF was he calling so infuriating and so heartbreaking
@@erinlietaert6002 - They got behind and had to throw. It was the situation more than anything.
Yep, just doesn't leave any room for error. Just made too many mistakes. Daniels is just an amazing talent, he just elevates that team
Lions fans were already talking Super Bowl, this is what happens when you suck for 50 years and you have one good season. They need to learn that winning a Super Bowl is a lot harder than running through your low level schedule during the regular season.

Both of our seasons were stolen due to injury
I don’t think they are good enough at QB to beat anyone great in the AF in the Superbowl even if they made it

For all the Goff bashers out there, Goff was trying too hard to offset a non-existent defense.
He'll be great with a regular defense out there.

A fumble and 3 picks. More like the defense was trying to overcome him.
Ben Johnson caused that with his play calling!!!! Why did Gibbs only have 12 carries making Goff throw 40+ times???
@erinlietaert6002
Agreed. But the truth is Detroit simply had too many injuries on the defensive side of the ball which led to overcompensating offensively.
He threw FOUR interceptions.

No where near playoff next year.

Injuries happen to every team but 16 is insane. They basically had to put up 40 every game to win, just not sustainable.
And our BEST players

McNeill is an All Pro.
Barnes is a very good LB
Davis is a very good CB
Plus all the other and we lost All Pro Safety Branch in the game and our very good CB on the first play.
Still
5 TO!!!! that bonehead coaching on the 4th down!
5 turnovers didn't help duh
Thanks for the reassuring message Rich, really makes the loss hurt so much less. 😂
The only reason Jaden Daniels did so well was the laundry list of injured players he would have got destroyed! 😡
Jayden Daniels played against the number one defense {at the time don't know if they still are} Eagles and the Commanders had turned the ball over 5 times in that game and the Commanders still won because of Jayden Daniels. He would still have beaten the Lions defense at full strength. Sorry man better luck next year.
Hey Avenger, blah blah blah blah blah...
What a Game. JD5. What a "short circuit" story. A1.
Bad day to have a bad day.
They always know when to pull a bad day out of the bag. Almost like the organization is dysfunctional with a 70 year track of evidence providing it.
@dougr188 Yeah. 47 and counting for me.... 😞
As a lifelong Lions fan, just hoping to see a Super Bowl appearance by the Lions before I die, I was not surprised by the loss Saturday. 30+ years between playoff wins really lowers your expectations.
30? Lions have one playoff win in the Super Bowl era, more like 65yrs 😂
@ They won a playoff game in 1991 & won 2 last season. 33 years in between.
You won’t ever see a Super Bowl appearance
They will likely be there next year. And if not, who cares…just enjoy them winning!
Unfortunately, though, no team has ever won the Super Bowl the season after replacing both their coordinators. So I fear that next year, where you hopefully get more of the defenders healthy for a whole season, is going to end up being a lost season unless something miraculous happens.
At the end of a SB, only ONE team had a successful season, right?
I think it’s fair to ask the question can Goff win us a Super Bowl?
Campbell is amazing. Really cares so refreshing
As a Lions fan… I finally feel normal again. I’ve had this unfamiliar feeling all season… can’t put my finger on it.
Thanks Rich - Lions fan here all my life (51 yes old). Felt gutted after that game. This helped put a little salve and reasoning on the aching heart.
They still have lessons to learn. We are going to win the Super Bowl with Campbell as our head coach.
Not with Goff. He's trash.
@@DarraghQuinn-d8oHe had a Bad Game. He’s already been to 1 Super Bowl. He’ll be back.
I agree. It takes a while to learn how to win. We love football because it's so hard. The lions are shedding decades of losing. They are young, but growing.
Not with Goff as QB. He is a stationary relic. There are no more Tom Brady types left, new era.
Time for Detroit to start signing this young talent to big deals which means they’re going to start leaving, they better hit it out of the park at the draft or that championship window is closed, if it was ever open
defense let them down; 31 points should be enough to win in the playoffs at home
It was a team effort of choke.
Pick 6.
5 TO.
I’ve been a lions fan since the 70’s, been thru a lot worse than this. I just hate to lose our coaches, makes me concerned about next season.
Opportunities are faint in NFL..Except for Chiefs
Appreciate your words, Eisen.
As a lions fan all they do is cause pain in new ways
I'm a Seattle Mariners fan so I can relate to the what the Lions are going through a bit.
Coach - thats why you all make what you make - good to see some Extreme Ownership (Jocko) in the press meeting. Just a business folks.... good year overall Detroit.
Brady called Goff greedy on the one interception because he had an open receiver at shorter yardage.
