Thank you for sharing bc my son is in prison for doing everything he thought he was big and bad enough to do but God’s got a plan for him and He has redeemed the time for us. I tell him this does not define who he is bc He’s the King’s Kid & He’s got greater for him

I didn’t handle it right when he was doing the drugs alcohol and whatever but I’m grateful for God’s grace and mercy upon both of us and another chance to show & give my son love

It’s been challenging because he lives with us but for now refuses the ways of God and how he was raised. He’s disrespecting our standards and covering.

This is warming my heart. This matches my return to God. Some of my family are lost. This came on time.
This can also rain true for prodigal spouses. You can’t chase them. We have to keep our same stance, praying, warring, and standing still for them to return home. They will return.

What I love about the prodigy is that what he was saying about his father to get his inheritance was that he was dead basically. But when he came back the Father said lets celebrate because my son once was dead but now he lives!!! He became what he really wanted for someone else and the Heavenly Father made away for him to get out of that place!
So encouraging. I stay in prayer for my spouse who is wayward and asked for divorce. Waiting on God to redeem and restore him back to the fold.

Amen! There is still hope for anyone who is still breathing the beautiful breath of the LORD our GOD. JESUS loves us all and HE will always remain close to the broken hearted. Continue to walk by never ending faith in GOD, as HE continues to strengthen our hope in HIM, with HIS unfailing love, while revealing and fulfilling every promise HE has spoken over us. In JESUS name, I pray that as many of us as possible, will remain hopeful and steadfast in the LORD, not just for the faithful, but also for the unfaithful, who GOD desires to be set free. It hurt but I had to learn to quit chasing because they don’t stop what they are doing and keep running but I can admit I didn’t say or do the right things when they did eventually return because I was too angry at them. Thankful for your teaching.❤ I am a work in progress.

Onnnnn Time!!! My 15 year old daughter ran away before it was time for us to move (transition for Ministry) and we missed the first flight, but the 2nd flight the Lord said I couldn't miss (just about a 1000 miles away from my daughter) who's amongst family. The Lord has given me great peace & assurance she will come (I have her plane ticket still/ ready for adjustments) but I had No idea what I would say or how to treat her when the time arrives. 😭😭😭 Thank you ladies, forever GRATEFUL!!!!

Prayers appreciated for my lost son who has drugs controlling his life.
Lies, manipulation, stealing...
He knows Jesus but is lost and doesn't want help.
He's an adult and makes his own decisions.
We love him from a distance setting boundaries to avoid harm, chaos and toxicity.
We know there's always Hope 🙏

My children have went their own way and I'm praying for their return. Mental health, addiction, rebelliousness homosexual life style and not walking with God. I have one son that will not speak to me. Praying for the return of my prodigal children. My heart hurts but I trust my faithful Father God that he will do what he promises and my children will return to the foot of the cross in Jesus name.
Thank you for the prayer. I receive the words on behalf of my kids and all other prodigals for whom I am praying.

I love this message so much. It's helping me to realize that I'm only pushing my daughter away when I get upset with her and when I'm trying to control her drug addiction. I'm scared for her life but I need to trust that God has her first and just love her through it. Thank you so much for this. It's something I definitely needed at this time in my life❤

Dr. Freeman, thank you so much for sharing about your son. I also have a prodigal son who be doing some things! I just can't stop loving him! Thank you for reaffirming that. I have to love him through it, and his brother, my other son, who's a Christian, thinks I'm doing too much. Please pray that he will learn to love his brother the way Jesus loves him.

I am going through this right now, and truly I tell you I am going about it the wrong way. I have been judgmental and just an awful mom. I am just so disappointed in myself, and I don't know how to love my child through this. I am trying, but I am failing so badly.
Surrender the past, let go, give it the LORD, the mistakes you made cannot be taken back, move forward in His love, abide in Him, He will lead you to a sober mind and loving heart, reach for your healing first, so that you can be transformed and ready to recieve your child with open arms. God is do good and His timing is perfect. Be encouraged sis, the past does not for us, all we can do is learn from them and move on 🙏🏽
