We have our bird feeder on a Shepards hook outside my 91 year old mom's living room window so she can watch the birds all day! 🙂
That's wonderful! I live in an apartment and the only birds I see are pigeons and seagulls in the parking lot.

@@TheAshesvondust the seagulls are actually quite entertaining especially after a rain when our parking lot tends to flood a bit. They all gather and stand in a very large and when one turns slightly and stands still the rest follow . They do a complete circle very slowly but they all follow whichever one started the turn. So if the leader is now facing west they all turn to face west and stand still until the next move.There is usually at least 20 to 30 doing this if you can visualize them. Lol it reminds me of some crazy birds I saw in a Disney movie once. I can't remember the name though. I laugh when I watch them the first time. Hilarious

Re: crocheted shawl It is handmade. Knitting can be machine made, but there is not a machine that can duplicate crochet. It’s beautiful work!

I attached that same bird bath/feeder right to the side of my house because we don’t have a porch rail. Mine is right under my kitchen window and because windows are framed out in wood i used extra long screws to go through stucco right into the wood frame . I added caulk around screw holes so no water could seep in as well. It was really easy. I’m a grandma with a pink drill🤣 and It has been up for three years with no problems and I love seeing the birds right outside my window every morning 😄Our house is stucco and brick so we used masonry screws . Just look up what kind of screw or bolt you need for whatever your exterior walls are made of. 😁

That ornament was definitely stolen out of that box! I see it all the time in our Goodwills It’s very upsetting. I don’t understand why people shoplift like that. I find empty boxes all the time and I know the ornament was in there because I saw it in the weeks leading up to the day I walk in there and then find empty boxes… I don’t know why I’m surprised but at 60 years old I am surprised at how many people steal! Thanks for another great video. It’s nice to see you and your mom shopping together.

Hi Danni. That burl huge chunk of ...back in mid 70's I worked at a gallery and we sold something called Sierra candles the stems of oval oil candels went in those holes. quite popular.. and pretty. You are looking good Danni and your MOM blooms out spending time with you...!Love you guys.
Dollar General just came out with a whole Dolly Pardon line of items. Just got the message from them and OF COURSE the store was sold out!!!! You will probably see more when thrifting!!! Enjoyed you and your Mom thrifting!!!! That frosty drink at the Mexican restaurant looked great!!

The wall paper is Anaglypta. I’ve seen it used a lot in older houses, often painted. It went out of style and everyone ripped it out but it seems to be coming back - and costing a heck of a lot more.

I had a bunch of rolls of that paintable Waller paper, from my Daughter-in-law's Mother, but I never brought it back with me from Phoenix, where I had been Nanny to my Newborn Great-Grandaughter 9 years ago.
The crochet scarf is actually a shawl I have one, my mum got one made for me when I got married in 1975.

I have been getting lots more migraines with this heat. We have good AC in our house, Danni, but just washing dishes I end up dripping from my neck and hair ! I saw ya'll had 117 degrees. I am wearing my Dolly Parton T-Shirt as we speak. 😀 we had 111, I think one day. Phoenix is higher I think it was 113 there.

Those little trays with the hole for dipping sauce are inserts for a bento box style container for kids called Yumbox. Containers quite pricey.
The most important thing for birds is a reliable daily source of clean, fresh water, so I would use your terracotta piece as a birdbath instead of as a feeder. I have eight birdbaths. I keep them all clean and full all year long, and all the birds in the neighborhood know it. When you said that the glasses reminded you of Beauty and the Beast, I immediately saw it too. You are so right about that! The Mexican restaurant looked like the perfect stop for such a hot day. Your mom's drink looked ever so refreshing, and the food looked authentically delicious. Sorry about your heat wave! Up here in the high desert of WA state, we are also experiencing heat. The last two days brought our living room to 101 degrees! Too hot!! Danni, you and your mother need to remember to hydrate all day long; we don't want either of you to get ill, because we care!
Hi Dani and Mom! In Bangor, Maine we are at 75° with 90% Humidity. We also have 2 advisories today a heat advisory, because of the humidity top temp today is 86°. Also Flood advisory fir rivers and streams as were expect storms after 2 pm.
I l8ved the art pieces. That looked like hand made paper they were done on. I know they were mass produced, but very tastefully done. Along with the wallpaper. The elephant bathroom set is super cute, sadly my bathroom has a free standing sink with no space. Sam built me a nice shelf unit from reclaimed barn wood for between the sink and the wall. Its perfect ❤.

Frenchies have rounded ears; Bostons have pointed ears. If the two breeds were side by side, you could easily see the difference bc Frenchies have a bulldog build and the Bostons have a terrier build. But it's very easy to get the two confused in artwork.
