Can someone explain how to gpu scaling works like how do I know if an RTX 2070 Ti is compared to a 4060 Ik generally the higher the 1000s series the better it is but ones that end in 60 are considered the budget ones and worse then the previous series it’s all a bit confusing

Generally the higher the generation number (the first number) the better, but only if you compare it to a similar secondary number (3060 vs 2060). You should always check benchmarks as many websites allow you to compare different GPUs. The 3000 series is a rare case where the 3060 is actually on par with a 2080. This is not generally true.
