Darn, you beat me to it. I got one a couple of weeks ago (sn 7868) that I'm cleaning up a bit right now. I love this machine! It is so advanced for its time and so different from the many other pinwheel machines.
@@stephenfreeborn I found one Dutch newspaper ad that has it at 350 guilders in 1929. That is equivalent to 3500 Euro today. Thankfully I did not need to pay that much for mine (131 Euro).

Yeah I didn’t mention that but it does seem in a new league compared to its contemporaries. Weird shifting knob. Smooth machine.
Exquisite crafTsmanShip! 🛠️
So nonchalant when you say "knurls"!
Seems like it was really headed into ridges territory.
Very nice! Thanks for sharing! The "knob" did indeed have a (knurled) rubber sheath around it - my own Facit standard came with the remains of one.
Nice. Thanks for that info. Seems like it needed something.
Gosh when I more carefully go back and look, I find various photos of the rubber piece. Dang.
It's so pretty 🙂
It’s really well made; a credit to the company.
what would the price be for this much engineering ?
None of the advertising I found had prices on it so I just don’t know. I’m curious too.
