Would you guys recommend Nemesis Inferno as a first big coaster at Thorpe Park since the biggest I've done so far is Dragons Fury and really want to ride the next step up
Yes definitely! Although you could go on The Walking Dead - The Ride first though
@@eddiejeffery2582 Did X a few years ago and it was easy. Only problem I have with inferno is the height and loop 😖
I am not sure really, I just did them in any old order when I went the first time and was nervous

@@yourexperienceguide yeah only one, however they are a cheap option for some much needed ejector airtime in the uk so it could be a possibility
@@demodex9653 if 1 was built in 2014 and it’s going to be 2022 and another one hasn’t been built there’s something your not seeing over why another hasn’t been built

In terms of Thorpe’s next coaster; I know it’s controversial, but I’d like to see a B&M hyper (emphasis on B&M) over any of the other options being thrown around, personally. I agree with Mark in thinking that I can’t imagine an RMC or a woodie at Thorpe, and in terms of other hyper manufacturers they could pick; I personally reckon they should go with B&M because after Derren Brown and its various issues, I think Thorpe could do with something that has high capacity, high reliability, is marketable and is also a crowd pleaser, and I think a B&M hyper is the ride that could most guarantee-ably tick all of those boxes. As much as a lot of enthusiasts would probably moan if a B&M hyper was built at Thorpe Park, as I get the impression that many (yourselves at PBE included) view B&M hypers as sub-par these days, I have to say that I would personally still be incredibly excited (the one B&M hyper I’ve done is easily my number 1 coaster!), and I think that it would still be a really great ride!
In terms of Swarm’s audio; I’ll agree that I’m not personally too huge on the new plaza audio, preferring the old plaza audio myself, but I certainly see what they were going for with it (trying to tell the story in greater depth), and in fairness, I think they achieved that goal. It just isn’t as much to my personal taste as the old one.
However, I’m afraid I’ll have to disagree with you on the station soundtrack; I think that new electric guitar track is epic, personally!
If I could have the old plaza music back, but keep the new station soundtrack, then that would be the ideal Swarm music situation for me!

Lockers outside of the queue should be standard. Would improve through put of rides, and as you say security would be massively improved. Was it just Colossus that had the queue jumping? Agree that virtual queuing would be good if implemented properly. It would need parks to invest more in the non-ride experiences such as shows and food options.
Colossus was the worst for the queue jumping but there was moments of it throughout the day. Non-ride experiences are vital at parks these days, Oktoberfest is a great idea which all the parks are now doing.
love the channel, as an enthusiast I know I have to eventually visit the Uk to get credits...but the money and the quality of the coasters is turning me off. The Uk NEEDS to get a true standout elite coaster, they deserve it.
I disagree that we *need* an elite coaster, the industry in this country does absolutely fine. From an enthusiast point of view, yes we definitely want to see more things like Zadra and Hyperion built here but what our industry thrives on is their family target audiences being drawn into the parks not enthusiasts.

About the swarm TVs, the new soundtrack includes news headlines as the TVs in the swarm queue are very broken.
Shame, the new soundtrack is so bad that I stopped paying attention to it. The TVs retained everyone's attention.
@@yourexperienceguide the problem is that using commercial music (as much as it sounds good) grounds the ride in reality whereas the old ominous instrumental fitted with the theme and allowed you to get into it.

great vlog! however i personally do not think that Thorpe park's next roller coaster will be record breaking but i do think it will be amazing but who knows what will happen but i think the smiler will hold its record as of at the moment because its way too popular even on school days as well but anyways have a nice day as I'm going to Thorpe park soon as well!

You didn’t explain why you think stealth is better than taller top hat coasters? Also for me yeh stealth is the best 7seconds in the park , but the best ride has to be swarm, beat coaster in the uk for me… smooth like my number 1 helix….
Stealth is less rattily than Kingda Ka and Red Force which I think is the main reason for preferring it to those. I don't think I'll ever understand why The Swarm is ranked so highly in the UK but everyone has their favourites ;)
Agree 100% with paying a couple of quid for the peace of mind that my phone and car keys will still be in my possesion come the end of the day.

Great Video! Personally I think the park will get a hyper and it will be a B&M! Also in terms of the locker idea, I think they should defo be free instead of being £2! Also the virtual queue system can cause major issues because people just wanted to wait outside the entry and it’s just ends up being pointless so personally I think guests would rather wait in a queue
I think it’ll be a B&M too, hopefully with a good baggage system! I’d pay for a locker if it guaranteed the safety of my stuff.
Agree with Thorpe installing an airtime machine but I can see an Intamin mega coaster like Konda than a 200ft plus B&M just because of the locals but I agree they can install something around 175ft foot and topping 70mph and it will still be a massive crowd pleaser or I would like an upscale Vekoma Bermuda Blitz like Lech Coaster but extended. More track layout, more airtime, more inversions, bigger drop, more speed but yeah think realistically it'll be a B&M hyper or Intamin Mega coaster.
An Intamin hyper coaster would have more ejector airtime than a B&M coaster.
Isn't it true though for the original idea for Stealth is what they wanted break the UK height record but plans didn't go through due to the locals so I imagine the original plans were around 225ft-250ft?
For the coaster thing the earliest it can be is 2024 and that’s only if sw9 at Alton towers is planned for 2025 not 2024
Entirely depends on where they’re up to with it, if they’ve got a slot booked with a manufacturer already that’ll mean something isn’t too far off. Time will tell.

Would they not need planning permission first before planning for a new coaster?
Planning permission is part of the planning process, who’s to say they’ve not held talks over what they can and can’t do before starting to plan?
