Hey Rick, great ops session and nice change of pace as far as power goes. Awesome lashup!! I started watching that video you were talking about, but was called away. I will check it out later. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend and stay safe. Happy modeling!! - Jason
Hi Rick , good ops session today. A little something different ,but it was simple . I hate to hear it’s hot out there. The last week our highs have been in the high 70’s and low humidity it’s been nice. Here in north central North Carolina and Carolina Blue skies. Thanks for sharing. Have a good weekend. 😎😎 👍
I've seen the (Tehachapi) Mountain Local with six Tunnel Motors (all six axle power, by the way) with six cars one day, and five engines, and sixty cars the next day. You never know what you're going to get! The train length of a local is constantly changing over their district, and one day to the next. If you're lucky you actually have enough power for the train when it is the longest / heaviest over the steepest grade on your run. Makes for a long day if you have to double or triple the hill at three in the morning during a snowstorm because they gave you one slippery four axle engine instead of three big (6 axle) units. Model a particular train on your railroad even though you only have room for a portion of its run. Add enough engines for its entire run. Then you have a reason to use more engines.
I know that O Scale trains the sound decoder with crew chatter, but I wonder if HO has the ability for crew chatter, especially the Train crew and the dispatcher or yardmaster.
Three Locos this time? I thought they would get something super heavy like one of those generators at that So Cal Edison place. I hope things get cooler down where you are.
It would be a transformer not a generator. I hope Rick noticed ClassOne Model works has some new items for that customer. Big heat here in So. Cal. Time to hide😂
Hey thanks for the feature I appreciate your interest in this train! I’ll have more footage up in the future for you to base more operations from!

Rick, please make a video about speed matching locos. Or put a link to a good video you have found. I need to learn to do this!
You know, when it comes to the weather and the railroad, it is always 80 degrees and mild! There is no such thing as bad weather.😅😅😅
