These cars shall never go to the scrap yards. They will outlive cars that go on the market today.
Yes i agree with you my friend! They don't make them how they use to be.
People hate on them, especially the IS/Altezza. But I think they are such good cars, and for the price and power, definitely worth it!
IS are underrated. They are such good cars!
Thankyou for this video. I’m in the process of buying a gs300 and I’m so excited. It’s going to be my first car and by the looks of it. It’s going to last me a long time
Thank you! I really appreciate it, im glad the video helped. And Congratulations!!! It will be great first nice car! It will last you for a long time. Are you planning on leaving it stock or modified it? Either way you can't go wrong with both stock or modified
@@the2jzchannel it’s internally a stock 1998 Lexus gs300 with 290,000km/185,000 miles. Slightly modified lowered on 20 inch rims which I do plan on swapping. I bought it for $5000aud/$3470usd.
@@the2jzchannel it being a 2jz I would love to give it a 2jz feel and giving it more power. Ultimate goal being to double the power. But for the meantime I’m going to keep her stock
@@linkuxsnooks5256 that's a great buy! Still has plenty of life left. I love the 2JZ engine and GS, its one of the smoothest running engine and car I ever driven. Hope all goes well!
@@linkuxsnooks5256 yes I know what you mean, I would also like to turbo my 2JZ as well in the future, with a good conservative tune our engine can easily take 300hp with no issues and there's huge aftermarket support source for NA-T builds with both IS & GS some more power would be nice but I think with it's stock power it's fast enough to get around town. The stock low end power is pretty good for only 200hp I'm able to hang with Infiniti G35 (I have a video of that in my channel) and it gets up to speed fairly easy I was able to reach 130mph with ease. Definitely the aerodynamics of the GS300 is good, makes it a really nice highway cruiser.

cant go wrong with either
Yup agree! Both cars are both great choices.
