I let July go by and didn't plant anything lol dang. Now I let a week of August go and still I haven't put anything in. I caught a groundhog get up in a 3 feet tall raised bed and try to eat carrot tops. He didn't know I was there with a hose in my hand and he got soaked. After I got it wet it shrunk they're almost all hair.

I have a short growing season here, so I started my redarling brussels asap. I'm currently fighting my second round of canbage moths and their babies
How did you do with your cabbage? I battle those a lot in zone 6a they fly like twins it's always 2 together. They ate my kale down to stems

Would you mind telling me what kind of soil mix should I get? I have perilite, vermiculite, top soil, peat moss. lol idk if that’s a good blend
50/50 top soil and compost then add 10% perlite, and vermiculite

Tee, where did you get the large tray that you have collecting your excess soil? I need something that big to do large seed trays.
I did see the other day at the dollar tree. They have these flat plastic black trays that you can use that is pretty big in the car section.
