You can see that she’s so worried when her daughter was sick and I feel like she’s holding herself back from saying things like quitting or anything negative. But she trusts her daughter that she knows her own body and capacity to go through with the competition. I’m no mother but I can see that Gu Yan raises Eileen with a lot of love, respect and instillation of right values from young that her child learns grit & perseverance to fight and reach for her goals. This girl really inspires me to pull my socks up to go out there and do what I need to do. 💪💪💪

Watching the many practicing, training, and conversation and sharing together that both mother and daughter gone through is an intriguing experience. It is really hard work. 她3岁起就开始尝试滑雪，9岁成为全美少年组滑雪的冠军，11岁夺得全美13岁以下坡道障碍赛冠军以及全能亚军，13岁起，开始参与成人组的比赛。14岁时，谷爱凌就已经获得了9个全美冠军，家里还摆放着她的50枚金牌。
美国这个训练条件还是好啊！
