on automatic car washes - a mate of mine had a Vauxhall Omega estate and one car wash tore off his rear wiper as it completed the backward cycle. Trouble was, it managed to wrap the wiper around the brush, so in the cycle back towards the front of the car, it smashed the metal shard of wiper - bada-bam-bada-bam - all along the roof, windscreen and bonnet of the car. Let's just say, the repair bill was extensive.

Well, it was the ninetees, you see; jolly times with dear Ronald Size and those sweet, sweet chaps from Massive Attic. We've all survived the fungal fog of those times and we can look back fondly.

Carwashes. I absolutely have to switch on airplane mode as three times I broke my electric aerial due to some wazzock calling me mid wash, my bluetooth switching my stereo on, raising the aerial and promptly breaking it.
Car washes. Anything to say on the TG Espace convertible and the small fire? If its been talked about before on a previous S&S, Ihaven't got to that one yet 🙂
Modern cars can't fit classic floor mats because traditional ergonomic standards have been abandoned in pursuit of customer demands, vanity and novelty. Laughable headroom in most popular EV, SUV and crossover is terrible compared to 3box Benz sedans of the 80's. Safety scores weighted in favour of interruptive, untrustworthy driver assists and a competition for highest airbag numbers is a misleading regulatory arrangement. Fools leading the fools.
