Another Cobb!!!!! Congrats, Rich! Did you figure out what you had, a coin or a token? That was tough to distinguish on site. Heal quickly, Doug! And thanks for sharing another hunt with us all, you all!
Big stone points are spear heads, small slim ones. Arrowheads. You stick one, like Rich found on ,an arrow shaft and it's going to nosedive into the ground! What a great day, it's good when everyone has smiles:) Cheers, Rik Spector
Hey Hoarder, if you want to see old, there's a tavern in Charleston South Carolina that dates back to 1686 and it's still open. if you haven't been there, it's a great place to see being that old and having real pirates that were in this place. a must see.
I'm new to your channel and enjoying it very much. The cast is just like The Time Team complete with excitement, humor and camaraderie. Please keep up your great work.
Wow Doug! You sure was right with Rich having a surprise this week. I`m sure glad no one got left out on a cobb find. Unreal. Or should I say reale. Has anyone tried to find any history of the land you guys were hunting. Surely there`s something Oh and what happen to your han?. Or would you rather not say.
Fantastic finds! Another pirate coin! Tyler got a 8 reale cob yesterday! I'll send you the photo. What an incredible spot! If you need help let me know 🤣 Wicked happy hunting! 👊
Poor Doug good thing he has Lynne to dig his holes, she's a good sport! Rich is now an elite member of "the cobb community" congratulations! Doug I hope you heal fast, I still love you 🥰
The button Doug and Lin found in the very beginning looks as though it has an EDELWEISS flower engraving on the front. I was thinking the same thing that the area had some type of Tavern or trading post located there. The last item in the video seems to have a sea turtle engraved on it. Awesome video Hoarder and thanks to you and your crew.
Wow YET another one, The smile on Rich's face said it all. Congrats Cob Hoarders hahaha. Are we sure Doug isn't just faking it so he can have a lovely lady in tow lol
Awesome video ! Congratulation Rich for the Spanish cob, half reale, and everyone for ya`ll finds, oh yeah Doug first fatty indian ! Good luck and best wishes on ya`ll next hunt !
Awesome video Jason. Really liked those buttons and Doug's pendant piece and Jason's farthing , Rich on finding the IHP and congrats on your first Spanish cob and the 1/2 reale. (Pirate treasure, Arrrrrgh)
Fellas, I live in the most historic part of Eastern, NC. Everything around here is Colonial & Civil war era. Original 1700's homes, 1800's, a palace, etc. It was even the capital of NC at one time. I would like to invite you to come detect nothing BUT stuff circa 16-1900's & maybe even earlier than 1600.
Congrats to all of you !!! That is an insanely good field !! Rich, I think your arrowhead is a Lamoka point ,5500-3500 B.P. Hope the hand gets well Doug, but I'm sure it was nice to have an assistant to do the work. Again congrats and good luck!
That's so Awesome that the whole team got a Cob @ that site !! Congratulations Rich!!! Sucks that you now need to wait till next winter to get back !! Best Wishes to Doug on the recovery!!
Hope you heal up quickly Doug, glad Lynn was able to help and and join in on the fun .great finds guys awesome field. Way to go Rich with the cob. And Jason your videos are excellent.
Awesomeness! All day long. I'm so jealous. Love all the finds. The cobs are spectacular... get well soon, Doug. Life could be hard having to shift gears left-handed. 🙃 love you guys.
This is becoming my favorite property the coins are magnificent. Doug I wish you a speedy recovery and to find that damn elusive flying eagle. Y'all keep safe stay humble and HH see ya next time.
Doug is a trooper. He's a hard-core detectorist coming out even after surgery. Doug.. ....you're the man. Thanks Lynn for helping him out. Very kind of you. And the hunt today was amazing once again. Obviously something or someone was there VERY long ago with all those hammered silvers. You know there's even more out there. Maybe hammered coppers too......or even gold. I looked forward to this all day at work. And I have a button JUST like that one that came up low......with the cast shank. Mine doesn't have an image as far as I can tell though. How old yall think it is? Like 1600's? And some 1859 Indian head pennies do have a shield......but they're very rare. Probly scarce. And I'm super jealous of the KG1. Lol. I don't know why....but I love British coins between 1674 and 1719.
Great job guys :) No way you've found all cobs there. Could be like you say: money sack dropped and the plow scattered the coins, could also be that the field was at its "peak" in the late 1600s early 1700s with workers who might've dropped a few coins every few years. The cobs must've been a big trade commodity by that period in that area. It is also hard to guess how long they have circulated before getting dropped since the minting quality is not good on cobs. Considering the size of the field, your finds... there is still more :)
Wow, you guys might need to change the channel to "Silver Cobb Hunters". Darn fine video this week. Doug you know your my favorite so I gotta ask if that injury was from that apple you were so diligently tearing up last week? 😆 Great to see everyone finding so much cool stuff.. Take a well deserved break after this week.
It's so awesome that you all found Cobb's that's something that I would like to find excellent video great content thank you for sharing this with us six stars my friends
Wow. That possible coin/ metal weight is definitely an eye opener for me. I enjoy the stories and wisdom from the group. Can't wait to see how much the possible scale pice weighs in at.
I guess I called that one right for Rich, posting a comment on last week's vid that I was sure you guys left a Cobb for him- the fact you found 4 Cobbs there (so far) is incredible enough, but add to it that you each found one, even more amazing! Hope there's even more in the winter on your next trip there. Great finds everyone- Strong work & Congrats!
Jason you do an amazing job and have the absolute greatest content!!! Always look forward for the next episode!!! I appreciate you and wanted to say thank you!!!
That is so unreal!! How absolutely awesome!! Congrats to all of you on not only the cobs but all of the great finds!! Lyn is awesome to dig for Doug! Heal up quick Doug!!
