    The mazda xedos was a good looking car back in the day.
    I see why now every chav back in the day, saw the cavalier gsi as the car to have.
    Used to love watching these go at it as a child. Memories I'll never forget.

    Don't you miss Murray? Because he'd done his homework he knew exactly who was in what car and could shout away with authority. There's not much of that around these days.

      Yes I miss the fantastic Murray Walker. To me he is the voice of motorsports . We were lucky to have him. He was like a professor of motorsport. He knew it all. Being a motorbike fan hearing his commentary of Sheene vs Roberts are among my childhood memories.

    The great thing about these cars was that they ‘looked’ sufficiently like actual cars that you saw on the road that you could be fooled into believing they had some similarities to the road cars……which of course, they didn’t! 🤣
    It really fostered ‘brand loyalty and support’ amongst fans.

    I like the Peugeots and the Nissans the most, Nissan because they remind me of my childhood, seeing my mum drive around in one, and the Peugeot because I almost got killed by one!

    The full circuit at Oulton Park is one of the best in the world but i wish they would go back to the fast right hander at Knickerbrook instead of that stupid right, left, right.

    • @bad-bunnyblogger8171
      @bad-bunnyblogger8171 4 года назад +2

      Same as brands hatch. They always use that small indy circuit missing out the best parts of the track.
      Is it down to the budget of the series?

      Sadly it was one of those superb corners where lack of run-off made it dangerous back in the day. They put the chicane in after Paul Warwick's fatal accident in '91
      Think the right hander is only used with the Fosters short circuit now

      @@Zero_Ninety having now played this track in a game (lol) 100% agree with you. Tiff was the only one holding a racing line. Neal was being cheeky, Tiff wasn't aware he'd snuck in too. Closed back in on the racing line. Neal was being a bit of a nob. But hey that's why we love this era. No one was hurt.
