Ok so i just want to clarify the difference between intrusive vs impulsive thoughts, the things in this video are all impulsive thoughts, intrusive thoughts would be for example you seeing a child in a street and suddenly imagining yourself killing that child and hiding the body, intrusive thoughts are not funny and people that suffer with them can develop depression because of it
A lot of these are just impulsive thoughts, not intrusive.. Intrusive thoughts are more along the lines of thinking about harming someone, or yourself, or thinking about death - like planes crashing from the sky when you see them. smacking eggs on a table is an impulsive thought
Always annoys me that people started the “intrusive thoughts” trend, undermines actual intrusive thoughts when people think it’s just random funny things.

These terms are completely different and should be treated as such, especially nowadays, I realise the importance of this as someone who experiences the anxiety accompanied by these thoughts often. ☺️
