For Autumn/Winter 2022 Paul Costelloe delivers a triumph of poetic structure for this eye-opening interpretation of a Golden Age in world history.
From the lavish gold of the Renaissance period, to Tudor styles in reds, blues and rich van Dyck browns, this collection conveys all the romance of courtly desire.
As the master of tailoring, Paul experiments with lavish tweeds from Magee in Donegal, Southern Ireland, with exclusive Costelloe prints realised by William Clark in Maghera, Northern Ireland. Statement coats are presented in pure wools, and unique marl-twist knitwear in sumptuous ochre tones.
Pleated organza ruffs, and exclusive in-house designed printed bodies compliment the striking brocade jacquards in this regal collection.
Laser-cut designed bags in gold and silver, and specially commissioned intricate jewellery from Nidhi Creations of India and Bláithín Ennis of Ireland elevate and glorify this colourful Elizabethan inspired spectacle.

Oh dearie me, what is going on here? I could go into any number of thrift shops and come away with a better outfit than most of what was paraded here. A few nice ideas - but what was the theme "Hobbit goes to a Fashion Show???". Hate the bushy haired models.
