31:00 The Infinite Speed shenanigans begin here. I cannot believe that, by gaining enough rotational speed and spring jumping, you simultaneously collide with almost every loaded actor. That's pure speedrunning madness and i love it
Not going to lie, I remember getting stuck at 38:50 and shooting the missile over the wall to progress. Until today I never knew that was a sequence break lmao
I've watched miguel a l o t in the past, this was definitely a pleasant crossover I wasn't expecting lol Though I mostly check them out for Metroid Prime 2 stuff, I've learned a ton of Prime tech through watching him for awhile, sick TASer
31:00 Quick comment on NaN: it's what you get when dividing a floating-point number (numbers with decimal parts) by exactly zero: `anything / 0` is always NaN. It's the one special number that is not greater than, less than, or equal to any other number (even itself!). You check if a number is NaN by doing `if (num != num) { /* it's NaN */ }` I'm not quite sure how collision matching would work with NaN; typical bounding-box collision tests are box overlap tests, which NaN would fail to satisfy. Something weird is going on.
Another question: Do the runners/TASers know what causes Chozo ghosts to start appearing? I know in rooms like Hall of the Elders they're always there, but is there something that determines them starting to appear in rooms like the Furnace and the Arboretum?
In my most recent playthrough, the ghosts NEVER appeared in the Furnace. Not after obtaining the Ice Beam, and not later on when I came back for the missile.
Yes, but funnily enough it only applies to Gravity Suit, at least in Gamecube v1.0. Getting Gravity/Phazon Suit before Varia will still protect you from heated rooms.
I havent reached that part yet so Idk if theyre gonna talk about it, but could you get super missiles and not have Charge beam? If so, can you still fire them? I suppose not 😅
This is similar to the pausing skip at the start of Majora's Mask, instead of using pauses to make inputs easier for the player it's messing with the game itself
ZFG was so silent I kind of forgot I was watching a video on his channel.
definitely missing a couple "dude"s and "cool"s...
@@rtyuik7 dont forget the "no dude"
@@Hasenlordify how are you gonna no dude on a tas

There's an annual tas watching on February on zfgs stream

18:01 should be thumbnail, so cursed
What a great TAS! So cool that ZFG showcases these, hope to keep seeing more. Also great commentary on this one 👍
46:30 that is the best fun fact Ive heard about this game 😂

This game is a certified banger

54:25 so that means getting Phazon Suit does not give you the gravity suit for free since you still cant move in the water freely?
Yes, but funnily enough it only applies to Gravity Suit, at least in Gamecube v1.0. Getting Gravity/Phazon Suit before Varia will still protect you from heated rooms.
Is the Omega Pirate's pattern different in the Wii version? I'm a little unsure of how he beat him so quickly.
I havent reached that part yet so Idk if theyre gonna talk about it, but could you get super missiles and not have Charge beam? If so, can you still fire them? I suppose not 😅
Nope, charge beam is needed to fire super missiles.
Hey gamers this is Keeta
Hello Keeta this is Dickbutt
It's our first dungeon
miguel and bash talk so much faster than zfg LOL
26:35 WHAT you dont need supers for these??? loooool
Is this a new zelda game?
36:51 you can hit that door with the wall being there?
Yep. Fully charged plasma has enough splash damage to hit the door through the wall.
who's this zfg guy on this metroid prime tas? doesnt he play mario or something
For me, it's Ghetto Jump.
oh?
not enough commentary from my man zfg

Yes after being fired from CLG he is now known as MFG
Yeah he said he retired from Zelda. He’s going to be a letsplay streamer now.

It's done to delay the load of a room, for some tricks the room needs to stay unloaded for longer.
