We must protect VHS, in the same manner that Anakin tried to protect Padme! Except we'll radicalize Padme, & turn her to the Darkside of the Force. And Execute Order 69, as we multi-task, & preserve the VHS franchise. 🤘🤘
@@Dubble-Bobble94 was one of my all time favorite V/H/S movies. The scientist that made those cyborgs out of kidnapped people was probably one of the scariest villains in the series.
Hell yes. Its so awesome that we have an entire film in this segment series based around Aliens. We havent seen it in this series since Slumber Party Alien Abduction back in VHS 2. Thank you Shudder for keeping this Anthology series alive.
This is gonna be the best one. Edit Oct 4th: I am constantly refreshing the homepage of Shudder for this movie, I am so excited. When I finish the movie I'll give out my non spoiler review/rating for the movie here! After watching (non spoiler review/rating): This is the one. Oh my god it's the one. For a long time V/H/S 2, and 99' were my favourite (I know a lot of people hate 99', but it's one of my favourites for personal reasons), I was a little disappointed with V/H/S 85' last year, and had a bit of a lower expectation for this movie. Good god this one exceeded my expectations. The stories in this movie are really great and let me just get to it, there is no bad segments in this movie. The weakest segments are still great and I enjoyed all of it (Including the wrap around). I don't want to really want spoil much so here's my segment rating list thing: (From highest to lowest rating) Dream Girl: 9/10 (I cut my knee because of one of the god damn jumpscares, the amount of gores and scares in this one are fantastic, the effects and makeup were amazing.) Live and Let Dive 8.5/10 (The deaths in this one were terrifying, the CGI was really sweet and the whole story was really great, this segment felt like a fever dream) Stork: 8/10 (This felt like if Resident Evil had an Alien spinoff, the atmosphere is strong in this segment) Stowaway: 7.5/10 (This one was a slower burn, and was a more emotional story. I really love the way the alien looked in this segment, not to mention the tension building up doesn't go away in this segment until the very end, the inside of the UFO was really unique and eerie. The main character is just really fun to watch and Alanah Pearce did a really good job at playing the character) Fur Babies: 7/10 (This segment was loads of fun, sure this segment felt out of place with the movie's theme, but that doesn't mean it was bad. The segment was a little goofy towards the end but I didn't mind that. This segment has a good amount of body horror and it does it well. I felt uncomfortable during the entire segment, it felt off in a good way.) Abduction-Adduction (Wrap around): 7/10 (I really liked this wrap around, sure this one was different from the other wrap arounds, but it was enjoyable and the 2 tapes shown at the end were eerie. The wrap around gave a bit of relief after each segment which felt nice. The story in the wrap around reminds me of something I'd see on SyFy late at night 10 years ago and felt pretty nostalgic.) I think this is one of the best V/H/S movies in the series, me personally I think it's the best one. And now I'm gonna go watch something happy cause that was horrifying lol.
As an Indian and a long time VHS anthology love - thank you!!!! Super F**ing intrigued to watch the indian story - it's shot more authentic they filmmakers shoot horror here in India! THANK YOU!
Im glad they got away from time periods. That really pit a restriction on their imagination for tapes. This looks good i wanna see the zombie one and the one in the airplane
Fun fact: In the first trailer they're actually using the "Twinkle Little Star" song as a way to pay homage to Dead Space since V/H/S/ Beyond is based on Sci-Fi horror. Edit: The chainsaw beheading is paying homage to the Evil Dead franchise and even the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise. Cheers 🍻
Nice!... I didn't realize that VHS Beyond was gonna be more Sci-fi themed.. Now, I'm even more intrigued, being that "Alien Slumber Party" is my favorite VHS skit. And, also because of the fact that Hollywood has been severely lacking decent Alien Abduction Horror Films... There's always 5 billion Zombie or Demonic Possession Horror Films out there... But, finding a decent Alien Abduction Horror Film, is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
not every one of them hits, but i'm so glad this series is still going strong! love to see what creators can get up to with little balls-to-the-wall ideas they can put their chops and experimental shooting styles into
I love V/H/S Beyond! Omg it was perfect from start to finish. The UFO theme, the monsters...Kudos to the whole team, and please keep delivering gems like this every year!
If my sources are correct that’s actually the wrap around story investigating a house of a killer(kidnapper) who has a good bit of babies including one of the officers own acting as hostages!
It’s Stork, by @chuvabak_art and it’s about to be awesome. They’re fighting against an alien entity that’s kidnapping babies. I saw Stork listed as one of the segments and thought “no way” and then see this and the new posters and it’s like, nope they’re definitely doing his story. You guys aren’t ready for this one. It’s gonna be so good.
V/H/S is a collage of at home horror fun and i like that; because its backed by the people who want to experiment with the element figuring what works and doesn't, finding the ultimate spook factor, better writing for better story telling.
Bro I just rewatched all the VHS movies again last month and was wondering when the hell is the next one and BOOM! Let’s go , please keep this franchise alive, it really has a great fan base and I love these movies

I'm happy that Shudder took the V/H/S films and turned it into an ongoing semi-annual franchise.
Hell yeah. Love how weird and campy they are. Throw some money at a director for a 20 minute short and let them cook.
Major facts.
