Thanks Tracy, I've listened to Paul Rosolie on multiple podcasts and watched the same one multiple times. This is the first time on your channel. I always hear something new and even what I hear over again is still so interesting to me. This guy is living the life I wish I had lived. His story is so cool.
Thanks for sharing, very well said. I’ve left comments much like this for other Paul Rosolie videos. I can’t help it, his story is so moving and interesting. Anyway, good to “meet” you.
I’ve watched /listened to Paul numerous times & I truly feel that one day his name will be synonymous with people like Steve Irwin, Sir David Attenborough or Jane Goodall to name a few. He has such a passion for the Amazon & all of its creatures. I really feel like his journey is just beginning & it can’t be stressed enough how important it is. His mission is vital to everyone on this planet.
Paul is such an amazing man! I have watched so many interviews and podcasts with him and each one is different. Even as many as I have watched I still hear new stories in each one. Like he said, even if we can only do something small in our own backyard it is something. All I can do is make sure the flowers I plant are native that help bees and other pollinators feed and live. So I have done that. I hope to be able to do more in the future. For now I will keep being inspired by him. Great interview, 1st time viewer now new subscriber.
My older brother died of cancer when he was 38 of a painful cancer. He always felt like he never fit in. He would camp for a month or more with his dog in the mountains even in the middle of an alberta winter. When dying , I told him some of our family history. We were one of the first settlers and explorers on the eastern coast of Canada. He said ' my life make sense now. I am a throwback ' ( referring to more in touch with his long ago ancestors). 2 of my brothers and myself do not understand ' city folk and concrete jungles ". I am older and disabled now. What do I miss the most. NATURE. EVEN LEANING AGAONST A TREE. Meditating , it is almost if you become one with the tree and see trees communicating with each other. Deeper meditation- visualizing osmosis. Certainly no Paul as this started when I was 11. People in concrete jungles are so disconnected from nature. My only.real.contact will be sitting in the edge of the garage and talking to a rabbit for an hour. When able to get out some 14 years ago, I could watch a family ( a group of families of ducks ) for 5 hours. So sad to see a " runt " in the family and yet the compassion and care the parent ducks give to the runt yet obviously feeding the ones that will survive more. I was often in the bush when young. Small town , conservative parents. Only options nursing or teacher or if husband permits , mother at home. I used to dream of those things when young. When I played with snakes and reptiles. Not causing them trauma.
Your amazing at interviewing!! Idk i also struggled in school and at the same time was a girl scout and worked at the zoo near me and excelled at everything but school and i was absolutely fascinated with the jungle and everything nature and I have come to realize that I have learned more from nature and animals than i would ever sitting in school!!! I just loved the questions you asked this is the first ive watched you and the second ive watched him!! Thank you so much you kinda brought alot back to me and kinda reminded me why and how I got where I am and i did bc i stopped following my heart and started doing what everyone else wanted me to!! Follow your dreams ppl!!!

So good. Question for Paul - what kind of conflict has there been between your rangers protecting the forest and those who want to burn, log, gold-mine, or otherwise destroy it? And how frequent are those conflicts? In other words, how hard / dangerous is it to protect and are there examples where your team was unable to successfully protect it?
This is some bull shit I've looked up alot of paul videos and I'm just now seeing this your video should have way more views and I've never seen your stuff pop up this video needs more credit
Anyone looking for Paul's stories already heard these ones- nothing new. Bar is so low for pretty women. We have Lex & Joe... Don't you watch those ones? Don't you want to be better? Don't you compare yourself? I wish I looked like you. I'll subscribe but I call it like I see it.
Stop comparing school or other uncomfortable situations to prison you have never done any time in prison and it’s completely different. The levels of stress and violence are on another level and not to mention the mind frame and corruption

He gets into that in other pods. Watch his podcast with Lex fridman a lot of loggers and gold miners end up working for him.
yes and there are others that want to kill him. In fact he told Lex that he thinks that’s how he‘ll die .
Anyone noticed the elephant head just disappear 😂
Yep 😂😂
She doesn't stop talking
And she interrupts him
“ 🙅🏿♂️but she’s just trying to do her job 🤷🏿♂️ “

great interview tracy. Love this guy
Not sure the Amazon is the last wilderness. The forests of Papua are perhaps equally or more unmapped/unknown.
Its fascinating how Paul can care about animals so deeply yet kill them without mercy.
Is it possible to come out to the amazon and live?
Just commenting to say you look like serj tankian from system of a down sir
a curious jaguar😅😅.
Great chat .. but how about showing some love to your followers in the comments ..for that reason im not subscribing
Does she really understand what he is talking about? She looks like she has no idea 🤣🤣🤣🤣
