lol I died like 50 times trying to outrun the death moth but I didn't know that I could just simply crouch past it until I watched this video. this literally helped me so much.
99% of the time when I play this level, the mimics/skinstealers are by the door at the end. They just wander there in circles, it's easy to have 1 person bait them but obviously you can't do that when playing alone.
does the route for the skin stealer part rely on the fact that you beat the previous parts of the level at the speed you did and messes up when you start from the checkpoint instead, or does it not matter and you will still encounter skin stealers at consistent places? (sorry if that made no sense)
From my experience, it seems like 100% random chance where you encounter the skin stealers. I’ve played this level a lot, and every run I encounter them in a different spot. Sometimes they’re in good positioning that allows you to beat the level easier (like shown in the video), and other times they can corner and trap you and there’s nothing you can do about it.
@@gidster192 thanks very much, me and my friend were really stuck on this one and we ended up winning entirely because i messed up and had like 15 skin stealers devouring my corpse, giving him an opening and he barely made it to the door with a skin stealer right behind him

Easily the least fun level out there
Terror hotel is definitely worse
I recommend also turning your gamma up, it may look ugly but it’s very useful
