First movie toothless and the light fury actually had a lot of the same inspirations (cats and bats), it’s just not that noticeable because by the third movie because toothless’s inspirations became dogs and horses

I think that this should be a real movie, a counter part of the main stream movies, called: 'How To Train You Dragon-Mirror World'. But Instead Of Hiccup Catching The Light Fury, Its Astrid!
I love the concept of these AU so much. There’s so much potential for it! And it means more LightFury content, albeit fanmade, and I’m all for that! Genuinely, this has always been my favorite au concept in the HTTYD fandom. It’s just so much fun!
Hmm actually, not trying to offend any HTTYD fan's nor DreamWorks but I feel like the light fury should've been a bit more rarer and harder to find cuz in rl white animal's are much easier to find and sometime's, even in the dark and night furies would be much more common as black animal's are actually quite harder to find sometime's in day and we can BARELY or NOT even see them in night or any dark places making the night fury species way more common and also I have another point to justify my opinion which is that when the light fury which I like to call "Luna" and toothless went to the hidden world. After toothless roared there's a scene in which we see all the other dragon's roaring back and while watching the scene we can see that there's 2 more male light furies are there which also makes Luna the only female light fury which ALSO tell's us that only 3 light furies are left and only 1 female one. That's the end of my comment unfortunately but here's a few more random words Many ppl think or say that the light furt is just like the night fury but different.. In reality tho the light fury is just a subspecies of the night fury Many(I think) wonder why toothless has lightning abilities like the skrill even tho he's not one. Well that's bcuz he's the offspring of a skrill and a light fury which gives toothless both lightning and plasma blast abilities like skrill and light fury Fun fact: Toothless and Luna are almost like cat's and they also look like axolotl's especially Toothless

I could also imagine that if Hiccup does something really stupid or crazy and almost gets himself killed for it, the Light Fury would get physical in punishing Hiccup like how Toothless smacks him around, but not as frequently. Simply because it’s not nice or ladylike of her to do so.
I don't really care if the editing is bad or smth. What I do care about is that after a decade or two, people still remember Httyd, I'm drowning in Nostalgia.

I've been thinking for a few years about what it would look like if Light Fury was taken down instead of Toothless + what all three movies and series between them would look like. I had a simple idea of what the changes would be in the movies and series. The biggest changes would be in the relationship between Hiccup and his dragon, actually his dragoness. As in our wildlife, females are known to have their maternal instincts. Light Fury with this maternal instinct would be more protective towards Hiccup. She wouldn't let him go to dangerous areas and she wouldn't let him fly without her at all. She would simply start treating him like an adoptive mother. Her dominance over him would make it difficult for him to become the leader of the Dragon Academy in the series Riders of Berk, Defenders of Berk and Race to the Edge. The differences in the new How to Train Your Dragon 1 would look like this: As soon as Hiccup liberates Light Fury, Hiccup is not attacked, as Light Fury tries to fly away immediately. With half of her tail without success of course. Gaining her trust might or may not take more time. If Hiccup treated her like a gentleman, complimenting her, carefully explaining everything to her and using terms like please, thank you and I'm sorry, they could soon become friends. After all, even in the original, if someone apologized to Toothless, he calmed down. However, the rest of the movie would go exactly the same. In How to Train Your Dragon 2, it might be much harder to defeat Drago Bludvist and his Bewilderbeast, as Hiccup would be forbidden from Light Fury to fly with his rogallo wing. On the other hand, it is possible that after Hiccup finds his mother, Light Fury will stop dominating him and allow him to fly without her. So Drago and Bewilderbeast would be defeated anyway. How to Train Your Dragon 3 might look similar to the original, but it might be harder for Night Fury to gain the trust of Light Fury because she spent a quarter of her life with humans. Night Fury's declaration of love could be seen by Light Fury as an attempt to attack even in this movie version. So Hiccup would have to gain the trust of Night Fury first, and then, with his assistance, put the two dragons together. Then, together, they could more easily destroy the enemy army and its leader Grimmel. Even though Hiccup already had his mother by his side, Light Fury would still consider him her adoptive son and would not be able to leave him. The end of the movie could look completely different. The first alternative is that both dragons would stay with Hiccup and his Vikings on the island that would later be called New Berk, and Hidden World would be left without dragon king and queen. The second alternative is that both dragons and other dragons would fly to Hidden World, but would regularly visit Hiccup and his family.
This blew me away this was beautiful and the amount of effort and editing this must've took and the light fury is one of my favourite dragons in the how to train your dragon franchise and here is what I think this is what would happen if hiccup shot down the light fury: I think all the events of the first and second movie would have stayed the same but hiccup rode the light fury and in the beginning of the 3rd movie his armour would be white and grimmel would have hunted every light fury instead of night furys there would be more night furys and less light furys and still they would have the night light baby's and the light fury would be on Hiccups ship instead of toothless

According to Valka, the reason Hiccup and Toothless got along so well is because they were the same age and Hiccup had the soul of a dragon. From the movies, we can see that they also have a deep understanding of each other. The Lightfury seems to be the same age as them, but her personality is different. She seems to be more feral, mature, and sort of possessive since she got mad at Toothless when he showed that he missed Hiccup. So I think if she were the one Hiccup shot down, she’d be more like a mother to him than a friend or brother. She’d behave protectively like Toothless, but their bond wouldn’t be the same. She’s probably try to keep him out of trouble, so she’d refuse to take him to the Red Death until he promises he’ll be okay. So they’d have an emotional scene where she finally relents but is seen to look around in mild-panic and anger when the other dragons are near him. I think that would also cause some trouble during the second movie. The Lightfury would see Hiccup as her own and become suspicious of Valka. She’d probably argue with Hiccup to leave the dragon lair and put him behind her whenever Valka would come near. This would push Valka away because she’d feel more guilty about leaving Hiccup, so then Hiccup would yell at the Lightfury that she’s not his mom, that he finally got to meet his real mom and she’s pushing her away. The Lightfury would then leave, heartbroken, and end up captured by Drago. Drago would do the same thing of mind-controlling her to kill Hiccup, but this time Valka would get in the way. The Lightfury would snap out of it and try to help, but Hiccup would push her out of the way until Valka would tell him to stop and call her over, saying that it wasn’t her fault because she knows how much the Lightfury cares about Hiccup. (But! Maybe Valka wouldn’t die. Maybe she’d just be passed out from the pain since the Lightfury could have used the plasma ball she uses to blend in with her surroundings-which are weaker than normal blasts because they just need their scales to heat up- in an effort to fight Drago’s control and not kill Hiccup.) She’d probably still become the alpha, but this would strain their relationship earlier than it did for Hiccup and Toothless. She’d struggle between wanting to be there for Hiccup and taking care of all the other dragons. So meeting Toothless wouldn’t push her to leave Hiccup like it did Toothless (which I think was a bad decision by the way), but Hiccup would instead be the one to tell her that she has to make a life of her own without him because human lives are more fragile than a dragon’s and he would hate for her to put everything on hold for him. This would probably be better if either of his parents died in the previous movie or in the beginning of this one. It’d be sick if the death came out of nowhere, like Stoick was out cutting wood and a tree fell on him, or Valka was out flying and accidentally drowned when she fell off her dragon. Then Hiccup would take over as Chief to help alleviate either of their pain and find out that people he knew were dead like maybe Heather contracted pneumonia, or Brenda (Fishleg’s niece which he has no special connection to, but she was child) was attacked by a wild boar while playing, or Johann was killed by an unknown person (it turns out to be Grimmel who did it to lure Hiccup for his Lightfury). All of these events would weigh on him which is why he’d push for the Lightfury to find a mate. (I don’t think the dragons had to leave at the end of the third movie, but to keep it the same let’s say they also leave if the Lightfury is their leader.) So when the dragons leave, it’s a bittersweet farewell because Hiccup had long come to terms with the fact that the Lightfury had other responsibilities and couldn’t be with him forever, while the Lightfury is the one that took longer to realize that Hiccup wasn’t a young boy anymore, he was a man and he didn’t need her to risk everything for him. I couldn’t think of a female equivalent to “Toothless”, so I think in this universe he’d call her “Clear Eyes”.
I love this but I feel like a fitting name for her would be Bittersweet, because in the original, Hiccup named toothless from the first unusual thing he saw in him, and giving that The light fury would be aggressive, but looks cool, and cared for him, "Bittersweet", or just Liry. I also like your story, but what if The LF (light fury) was somehow found by Astrid in the first movie, exactly like you said it, and in the third movie, she would be set free with toothless. I know it's not good, but what if...

I’m not so sure how to feel about that, since Hiccup would then just be a background character that helps Astrid and the Lightfury become accepted. So did you mean “What if Hiccup found Toothless and Astrid found the Lightfury in the first movie?” I think that could work with the movie showing their parallel interactions. For example, it’d show Hiccup studying Toothless while Astrid is following the Lightfury to hunt her. Then it progresses to Hiccup actually approaching Toothless and becoming friends while Astrid is constantly bested by the Lightfury (who is weak for some reason so she can’t kill Astrid but can still scare her away with her plasma shots) and finds that she’s smarter than what the vikings thought. Like I said, the only problem I would have with Astrid being the main character is that she would replace Hiccup. I just think that Hiccup is the perfect main character because he was different from the start, and that is what allowed him to have an open mind about dragons. Plus, being the Chief’s son put extra pressure on him since he had his village to think of and the future relations between people and dragons. Although, I will say that Astrid could fit as the main character since she was the “dragon killing prodigy”. Her discovery could be like a “Everything I knew was wrong” situation similar to Hiccup’s “Everything we were taught is wrong” realization.
Toothless is better but yes, it's a great story of Hiccup with White Fury for the next video, do so that you add to the video Szczerbatka with White Fury to this main thread really something beautiful I love your work, best regards

From the movies, we can see that they also have a deep understanding of each other. The Lightfury seems to be the same age as them, but her personality is different. She seems to be more feral, mature, and sort of possessive since she got mad at Toothless when he showed that he missed Hiccup.
So I think if she were the one Hiccup shot down, she’d be more like a mother to him than a friend or brother. She’d behave protectively like Toothless, but their bond wouldn’t be the same. She’s probably try to keep him out of trouble, so she’d refuse to take him to the Red Death until he promises he’ll be okay. So they’d have an emotional scene where she finally relents but is seen to look around in mild-panic and anger when the other dragons are near him.
I think that would also cause some trouble during the second movie. The Lightfury would see Hiccup as her own and become suspicious of Valka. She’d probably argue with Hiccup to leave the dragon lair and put him behind her whenever Valka would come near. This would push Valka away because she’d feel more guilty about leaving Hiccup, so then Hiccup would yell at the Lightfury that she’s not his mom, that he finally got to meet his real mom and she’s pushing her away. The Lightfury would then leave, heartbroken, and end up captured by Drago. Drago would do the same thing of mind-controlling her to kill Hiccup, but this time Valka would get in the way. The Lightfury would snap out of it and try to help, but Hiccup would push her out of the way until Valka would tell him to stop and call her over, saying that it wasn’t her fault because she knows how much the Lightfury cares about Hiccup. (But! Maybe Valka wouldn’t die. Maybe she’d just be passed out from the pain since the Lightfury could have used the plasma ball she uses to blend in with her surroundings-which are weaker than normal blasts because they just need their scales to heat up- in an effort to fight Drago’s control and not kill Hiccup.)
She’d probably still become the alpha, but this would strain their relationship earlier than it did for Hiccup and Toothless. She’d struggle between wanting to be there for Hiccup and taking care of all the other dragons. So meeting Toothless wouldn’t push her to leave Hiccup like it did Toothless (which I think was a bad decision by the way), but Hiccup would instead be the one to tell her that she has to make a life of her own without him because human lives are more fragile than a dragon’s and he would hate for her to put everything on hold for him. This would probably be better if either of his parents died in the previous movie or in the beginning of this one. It’d be sick if the death came out of nowhere, like Stoick was out cutting wood and a tree fell on him, or Valka was out flying and accidentally drowned when she fell off her dragon. Then Hiccup would take over as Chief to help alleviate either of their pain and find out that people he knew were dead like maybe Heather contracted pneumonia, or Brenda (Fishleg’s niece which he has no special connection to, but she was child) was attacked by a wild boar while playing, or Johann was killed by an unknown person (it turns out to be Grimmel who did it to lure Hiccup for his Lightfury). All of these events would weigh on him which is why he’d push for the Lightfury to find a mate. (I don’t think the dragons had to leave at the end of the third movie, but to keep it the same let’s say they also leave if the Lightfury is their leader.) So when the dragons leave, it’s a bittersweet farewell because Hiccup had long come to terms with the fact that the Lightfury had other responsibilities and couldn’t be with him forever, while the Lightfury is the one that took longer to realize that Hiccup wasn’t a young boy anymore, he was a man and he didn’t need her to risk everything for him.
I couldn’t think of a female equivalent to “Toothless”, so I think in this universe he’d call her “Clear Eyes”.

I love this but I feel like a fitting name for her would be Bittersweet, because in the original, Hiccup named toothless from the first unusual thing he saw in him, and giving that The light fury would be aggressive, but looks cool, and cared for him, "Bittersweet", or just Liry. I also like your story, but what if The LF (light fury) was somehow found by Astrid in the first movie, exactly like you said it, and in the third movie, she would be set free with toothless. I know it's not good, but what if...

I’m not so sure how to feel about that, since Hiccup would then just be a background character that helps Astrid and the Lightfury become accepted. I guess it could work for his character if he’d finally stand up to his dad in the climax by telling everyone that he thinks Astrid is right about dragons not being so bad.

So did you mean “What if Hiccup found Toothless and Astrid found the Lightfury in the first movie?” I think that could work with the movie showing their parallel interactions. For example, it’d show Hiccup studying Toothless while Astrid is following the Lightfury to hunt her. Then it progresses to Hiccup actually approaching Toothless and becoming friends while Astrid is constantly bested by the Lightfury (who is weak for some reason so she can’t kill Astrid but can still scare her away with her plasma shots) and finds that she’s smarter than what the vikings thought.
Like I said, the only problem I would have with Astrid being the main character is that she would replace Hiccup. I just think that Hiccup is the perfect main character because he was different from the start, and that is what allowed him to have an open mind about dragons. Plus, being the Chief’s son put extra pressure on him since he had his village to think of and the future relations between people and dragons. Although, I will say that Astrid could fit as the main character since she was the “dragon killing prodigy”. Her discovery could be like a “Everything I knew was wrong” situation similar to Hiccup’s “Everything we were taught is wrong” realization.

It was pretty cool, liked the detail about the tailfin. Although I have to say I like the original version with Toothless better. I think his reaction to Hiccups drawing, and his reaction to Hiccup trying to touch him is more cute.
