Your visit to Cornwall and going through the different towns and villages has been really awesome and Charlestown is another great town with of course the local shops stores and buildings Thank You and until next time take care and i really enjoy the song that is playing in the background.🇬🇧🎸🎸🎹🥁🇬🇧
Another great video Neil i liked the port i love anything to do with boats.great scenery and buildings.enjoyed the walk i appreciate everything you do have a good day
My very much missed mum, adored Poldark. She looked at it every night and I recognized Charlestown straight away. Love the harbour and historic heritage. Beautiful ❤️. What's the tune you always play Neil? Look at the sea ⛵ and sky. Get me there now. 👍👍🏖️
Is Cornwall easy to get around if we don’t have a car? We prefer local transport… trains or buses. Any recommendations? Thinking of staying somewhere like Looe or Penzance, staying a week or so and day-tripping literally everywhere in Cornwall. We are seniors, so hiking the whole area is not an option, but day hikes are ok.
Don't like the fact that there is street food shops everywhere spoils the heritage of the site, especially as its UNESCO recognised . Typical exploitation of a beautiful scenic cornish village.
On the flip side I really like it - it’s a great way to eat good food and enjoy the views I guess everyone has different opinions on it though and can see your point definitely (The harbour is also privately owned too)
To be fair I’ve lived in and around Charlestown my whole life and I’ve seen it before the food areas and with it. It was switched owners a few years back which is when the food areas came in They are definitely an improvement as they don’t impede on anything and gives people who visit a area to eat outside next to the boats rather than inside the restaurants, also a much cheaper option haha
Interesting skies!
Yeah!
Yes we have skies like that in NSW Australia where I live 😢
I noticed the skies in Mevagissey were the same.

Really enjoyed Charlestown the last time we was in Cornwall and the shipwreck museum too which is dog friendly 👍🤓🐶🐶
I need to try that museum then - not been in there yet!
Really enjoyed the Charlestown walk...fascinating place ... and was amazed to note their sky looks exactly like our skies here in NSW Australia....😮

A local lad has written books and does walking tours here telling of the history from the very early days in the towns history. .

There are local buses yes. It's not the easiest and would really depend on where you wanted to go or see really :)
Newquay in June, there should be coaches running to the popular villages then.
Please do St Austell town mate 🤣🤣 I live there 😜
I nearly did that the other day actually!

Don't forget that tourism forms the main part of the income,Cornwall is a very poor county.
