Alberton Silwimba commercially and popularly alias Alubusu (The Big Drum) is a Zambian Professional Dancehall and Afro Conscious Artist who was originally introduced to professional studio recordings at Mission Press in Ndola and ended up coming to Lusaka with a song titled Chashota “Rhumba Version instead”.
Alubusu is the first greatest Zambian commercial dancehall artist after Daddy Zemus to have hit and made prominent monumental cultural songs that influenced different cultural preferences across Zambia and the diaspora. He set the blueprint for Zambian Music and those in romance including the modern song writers.
Alubusu (The Big Drum) is the first album that set precedence for later productions which up to date is arguably the biggest record breaker with almost all the songs toping the radio charts in the history of Zambian Music; with producers such as TK, Joe Chibangu, and the Legendary Beat Smith Axenic De Hardrox™ to this day remain to be the most influential pioneers and respected creative icons with presence across different genres and artists both established and new entrants.
This 18 track Album; with great producers TK, Joe Chibangu, and the Legendary Beat Smith Axenic De Hardrox™ to this day remain to be the most influential blueprint for Dancehall Music in Zambia and Africa by these well respected creative icons with presence across different genres.
