I used to main Trunle Jungle. If not that missed auto at 1:27 the lane would've been looking totally different.

one question: In the mid game if you are looking to get gold is it correct to always play for tier 2 turrets? Because as far as I understand splitpushing correctly means pushing the lane on the opposite side of the next objective, in the best case with TP up. But if for example the next objective is Dragon and the Top Tier 2 turret is gone it's complete grief to go bot and run into the enemies grouping for Dragon no?
Depends on the wavestate, splitpush capability of your champ and your overall team. If ur a daruis u could perfectly help your team in that situation. But as a trundle its generally better to stay in ur lane and pressure tier3 turret. But yeah it all depends on the situation, its hard to tell😊
jsut need to be extra careful if you're pushing that tier 3 for a dragon
Depends, if you are champ that can help rotate quickly to the teamfight like darius then you can push the top t2 but if youre a duelist type champ like trundle or fiora then you can try to push tier 3

I started playing with trundle in the top lane and I'm winning a lot of games, but I have a lot of difficulty playing against volibear
let him waste E then run him down, without his E he just cant win against lethal and ur Q
volibear is really good against auto attack champions
Trundle hard stomps Voli at all stages of the game w/ PtA or Lethal Tempo. As a high elo voli main, the matchup is spacing dependent. Volibear wants to go Grasp and space you with short trades until he can all-in or wombo you. If you take Grasp or anything other than PtA/Lethal Tempo as Trundle you're kinda trolling yourself. Late game, if Voli builds Iceborn and Anathema on you, you can't side vs him anymore. Before then he can match your side but he shouldn't be able to kill you unless you fuck up and if he makes a mistake you just run him down. In early lane try to save your W/E for displacing him/yourself out of his E or to force an all-in after he short trades.
Voli can be very strong and I use him as counter when the enemy takes trundle, when facing him as trundle remember to ult after he ults and otherwise just try to scale, once he starts moving you can take towers and get ahead. Also if he builds frozen heart and you're somewhat equal you shouldn't fight anymore
Never let him W when you're already marked. Second wind and DShield procs from his passive.

while trundle is a great split pusher no one can split as good as Yorick he can easily apply pressure in 2 lanes forcing 2 people to react , leaving 4v3 at objectives, if you time it right and practice it you can push 3 lanes at one time that one is a bit harder

Alr maybe this is just my low Elo brain, why tf would you not want that tower plating? It makes sense in my eyes as a Jngler to destroy tower (The main obj of the game), get the plating gold, and possibly get Tier 2 tower with a good top lane, all the meanwhile drag is spawning. Granted, Brand did misplay by running away right after spawning herald, but looking at the map bot lane was already lost, Mid lane was basically even (which means Cho is scaling), I’m failing to see why that would be a bad play when it guarantees that your even top gets more fed
Also drake is spawning soon. In enough time they would have enough priority in that big push with herald to split the enemy team’s attention with losing 2nd tier top tower with losing 2nd drake
full plate is already guaranteed , not only cause of the state of the match up , but even on that exact wave he wasted herald on. Meanwhile that herald could have been used mid or bot to get plates that were guaranteed to be uncollected without herald.
So it slowed top snowball , while wasting 2 plates either bot or mid that could have been taken with the herald , you not only lose 2 plates for no reason but also slowdown the snowball of your potential win con(which ended up being the win con in that game).
there is also match up top , when you face kayle or nasus for example , where you want to delay last plate untill 13m30 -13m55 to deny them even more , of course you dont want to do that versus a quinn.
@@Sickworld404 idk, I don’t really “agree” with that logic bc at that point it seems like a matter of opinion. Like granted, I’m not higher mmr, but at that point I see the pressure of top lane getting 2 towers within 30 seconds as a huge win had Alois saved his demolish.
Just picture this and then tell me if this is just flawed logic or not: Had Brand stayed and helped in a 2 v 2, both Quinn and Panth would 100% die with the possibility for his Trundle to live no? At that point, Tier 2 tower definitely gets destroyed, top has a massive wave push, and Dragon is spawning in about 20 seconds. Would that not be optimal to force the enemy jngler to divide their attention between their tier 3 possibly getting destroyed and only 2nd dragon?
Idk, I just feel like had the Brand actually contributed to the push he was forcing, it would have been a great play. He definitely misplayed but I’m talking on the pure logical sense of dividing attention away from obj’s

@@zachtemoro2116 for sure once brand herald top , he needs to play for it , and protect it at least till t2 charge.Makes absolutely no sense to drop it to steal resorces , and run away before the herald reaches t2.Thats worst than just clearing camps.
Panth ulted top , so if they 2V2 fight and win , panth (the jgler) is dead and ultless when he respawn , but he's fresh from spawn versus brand that is low health mana and didnt spent the gold earned , so if enemy team rush dragon , they win it.
On the other hand try to picture that play, top get solo turret and pushes to t2 , meanwhile brand herald mid , meanwhile dr spawn and brand's team rush it on spawn , as the herald mid is protected by midlaner 1V1.
3 plays happening simultaneously , and panth is guaranteed to lose at least the 2 he doesnt go to contest , and not even guaranteed to win the 3V3 if he choose drake.
Doesnt it look better than to overkill top turret that is dead in a near future no matter what , and losing the dr tempo for it, and wasting the oppportunity to get mid or bot plates as well?
its the same principle as if you have enemy bot inib destroyed , will you overkill the laning push and go push bot? or will you go push another lane , knowing bot is pushing anyway?

He thought chogath might be top, so didn't know whether to take mr or armor (vs Quinn), so health is best option--that is my guess.

i play trundle myself .. but dont get it when people build Hullbreaker so late
I will try :) I think arguments are that he still wants to sidelane so his team can get nash when they go and stop hjm,. Also it gives movement speed, which he really needs go catch quinn. The minion buff effect makes it much harder for quinn to kill the wave before it reaches the turret, so he can dive her or get the tower.
Hullbreaker gives a massive threat of ending the game if he is unchecked at all. It forces team to hard respect him or they will lose towers so fast. As you saw he ended the game in seconds after quinn fell.
Hullbreaker is also not a terrible team fight only split push item now. It's effects still work when you are not alone in the lane, and it gives an on-hit vs champs not just towers.
