Bert Your the man.. Great info for a great machine.. I don't even own a goblin but i still watched the whole video... Thats how good of a show man Bert is... Thanks
Ive just built a goblin 570 and im pleased to say the kit now comes with the hps head as standard. As much as i love the look and ease of use of the dfc system on helis they definitely have their down sides.
Bert so basically this HPS converts the goblin rotor heads to DFC as well too. Do you prefer dfc or traditional rotor head with wash out and mixing arms.
Technically speaking, unless the head is equipped with a flybar, there are no mixing arms or ‘washout’ (pitch compensator) parts. What you do get with a ‘conventional’ flybarless head are a pair of swash drivers and that’s all. This conversion takes the stock SAB head away from DFC completely. The stressful forces the DFC pitch links experience are completely eliminated with HPS design. Hope this helps.
Awesome Video! I now better understand the difference between a Traditional and DFC type head design, Thanks! The Goblin Heli kits are Definitely beginning to grow on me but I'm not ready for the 630 or 700 just yet. I'm really looking forward to the SAB Goblin 500 though!
Hello sir, this parts how size escalate? Is possible to me reproduce this part, to real application? Please send a datasheet to me, with drawing. Thank you so much.
If you're a beginner, this is not for you. Look for a Trex 300/450/500 clone, with a higher plastic part count. You will crash, and plastic is more forgiving, and way cheaper.
hi, I want to manufacture a double rotor head helicopter, that should lift a weight of 30-40 kilograms. Is your rotor head capable for lifting that weight. let me know as much as possible.
@ja kachur compass was the first company, who made the "DFC" concept ;) they just dont called it DFC and Align is copying it the wrong way they made it full aluminium... thats not really a problem, but the problem is, they made the plus versions with plastic ball links and thats "Stealing" u know what i mean?... thats because the dfc was a "flop" it needs the plastic ball links to compensate :)
