But I have the cable and mutiple bricks so how can you say so if you haven't done any tests? Exactly, you can even check the Amazon reviews and see the same thing
im in the UK and some is not available - trying to decide the best options for me as a Dog walker out all day and then doing camps at the weekends wit the scouts
We are trying to get a Amazon Echo Dot for our technology club to learn more about voice control and home automation. You can donate at our go fund me page at www.gofundme.com/techclubechodot any amount will be greatly appreciated.
kspotts20 jailbreaking will make the battery worse lol, did you check if apple will replace your battery for free with their 6s battery program? I just had mine replaced last month since I had those problems and my serial number was valid
kspotts20 if changing battery life is all you need then jailbreaking is not actually needed. You can just replace your battery then if the problem still occurs then you jailbreak
Awesome video sir! I've actually never seen you before and I'm a fellow RUclips tech reviewer. You've got awesome camera work by the way! What's your camera gear if you don't mind? I'm in the market for a new one :). Also those cool lights in the background, I've been looking for something like that!
This is a great video! I'm a network engineer and so I've been carrying around an assortment of tricks for over 10 years already. But all of these things reside in a purpose made pocket in my travel rucksack. I find that sometimes, my things get lost or move around so I'm buying the BAGSMART right now and then adding some items to the collection that you've shown in your video. Check out the rucksack I've used for the past 8 years - BLOXBOX DJ RUCKSACK PRO. It's actually a DJ rucksack but it has compartments for laptops, cables, passport, travel money, pens etc. I have fitted in 1 laptop, cables, a firewall (about the size of a laptop) and plenty of other things. It's a seriously strong bag but it's only marginally bigger than a regular rucksack. The Bagsmart will be an addition to this. I get flown around all over quite regularly so this video is perfect for me. Just wish I'd found it sooner!
Really liked this new updated Tech survival kit! You covered all the charging & power supply perfectly & up to date! very helpful for a beginner like me! Thanks again, See you next time! PEACE LOVE & DREAM'S! Most Sincerely, Crystal Elk. 🍁 💝🗺🌐📷🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟✔🎧🎼😉🎶💻📱🎵🖲🔌🕊💞💭❣🎬
you kit seems limited, all it offers is recharging and data connection options. if there is room, why not add some audio options? i have a much bulkier kit, but some of these items might inspire: to hook up my phone to any audio device: -tulip and 3.5mm audio cable -3.5mm audio cable -3.5mm audio splitter -6.35mm to 3.5mm converter -3.5mm to 6.35mm converter -bluetooth audio receiver (to be added later: FM audio receiver) to light my way: -led flash light (very bright, high end) -led flashlight (floody and angled, high end, usable as headlamp) -batteries for led flashlights incl: nimh and lithium ion rechargable. -olight UC universal charger (smallest charger, can handle both chemistries) -tiny multimeter (cheapo off ebay, just for testing batteries) -several of those tiny bicycle emergency lights (bought at the dollar store, expendable, to be used as signal lights or to mark an object or location) -2 tiny bicycle lights i fitted with alternate leds (one candle flicker and one colour fading, for moral boosting when stuck hiding from the rain on bicycle trips) misc: -a tiny flask of oil, originally from a sewing machine. (i keep this to service o-ring seals such as in my flashlights.) -a trash bag carefully folded to minimize bulk (besides the obvious can also be used to protect items from water -couple of small ziplock baggies to hold small items (like tiny screws or springs or other items that are likely to get lost) -small folding phone stand -small tripod with phone clamp -bluetooth remote shutter (this to be replaced with a compact bluetooth gaming controller hoping to extend usefulness at minimal increase in bulk.) -leatherman squirt multitool -victorinox explorer swiss army knife to be added in the near future: -rechargeable electric lighter (glowing spiral design, might upgrade to that plasma lighter if anyone makes them again) -bluetooth gps locator thingy keychain. (experimental, hoping it will serve as a means to find my phone and used as a gps tracker) also: my container is black so i marked it with a highly reflective smiley keychain so i can find it easily in the dark.
for some reason these very crisp videos are getting old or something, I guess I like the more natural look. the orange t-shirt looks oversaturated. just some small things from my humble opinion. otherwise still an entertaining video :)
@UrAvgConsumer ...This a great survival kit. If someone wanted to recreate this exact kit in the video how much would it be as a total set? I just checked out the battery charger and was really surprised at how inexpensive it was for such a high capacity.
What I especially enjoy about your kits, more than your commitment to constant improvement, is that you have consistently added capabilities that can be shared with others; I like that you have injected a "help yourself, help others" mind set. Keep up the great work.
Cool kit but I have to say, a lot of it differs to specific audiences, like the sd card because not everyone is a photographer and especially the USB type c adapters because not everyone owns a new MacBook, awesome kit not trying to hate but just saying that
This is the second video to mention the Chafon cable. But nobody mentioned the speed of the cable. A simple USB current meter should fix that. They start at about a dollar. So, check it?
Great video I love the idea of a "grab and go bag" Your videos are awesome I've been a fan for a while now. Keep them coming. I'm starting my own channel and your videos have been very inspiring.
Thanks for doing this 2.0 video. It definitely has a good variety of modern tech uses. I might have definitely look into getting these. Nice to see GNT-0000/FS 00 Qan[T] Full Saber and Master Grade XXXG-01H Gundam Heavyarms EW Ver. Props for wearing the 亀 (Kame...Turtle) symbol from Dragon Ball. Earbuds should be bluetooth for more modern compatibility.
Judner love your videos, they are always helpfull, wish you all the best man, the 1 million is right around the corner i cant wait, i super happy for you, you deserve it dude :)
My mind is blown. Good, affordable tech! This is what I like to see. Not no $80 portable, $25 wall charger, $30 USB, $15 cables and $100 ear buds. Every tech channel now likes to think that the more expensive the more it'll make us want to buy it. I'm actually gonna buy some of these things.
I love your travel electronic ideas. One I have that you should look into is the MOGICS Donut. It has EVERYTHING. You don't include foreign plugs....so this is the answer. I have used overseas in every instance with no issues. It is super small and best of all it has a 3 foot extension cord to it. Check it out and add it to your Tech Survival Kit III.
I made a TSK just like your first one for a business trip and it was awesome! Glad you made an updated version!Just wondering, where did you get the Red/Black BAGSMART travel case? The link in the description is for a Gray/Blue one on amazon.
This video is an obvious rip off from Jared Busch's 'Gadgets Go Bag' video from 2016... He even "borrowed" Jared's 'did you see what I did there?' phrase... How about coming up with your own material next time.
I am unable to find the BAGSMART Travel Electronic Accessories Thicken Cable Organizer Bag Portable Case anywhere! Could someone please provide me a link to one that is actually available? Thanks.
Great vid! Does anyone know where I can get a fast charging 1) mulit wire - like the Chafon one, and 2) fast charging power bank....need both to be fast charging - any links would be appreciated! Thank you!
Does the Belkin wall charger actually fit in the bag? I think all these things are great but I'm having trouble packing them all into the bag. Maybe cause I went with an imuto SL200QC. Please help. Love your vids.
Stumbled across this video and I have to say that I like it. You pretty much described my tech kit that I carry with me when I go away for trips/vacation. The only difference is the Belkin power plug at 4:50. That's a good call and I'm going to have to pick myself up one. I have all of the other cables/adapters (different brands) in there, as well as a small set of cell phone repair screwdrivers. :) Glad to see that I'm not the only one that does this.
I have an EDC survival kit with a ton of stuff :) carry my spare USB and a spare phone charger in there already. Plus a host of other things like a first aid kit amd a small knife and a torch, some ductape, waterproof matches, a lighter, a spare emergency cigarette 🚬😂 some hand sanitizer to name a few :)
And that Belkin surge protector IIRC can only supply 2A across both ports, may not even have proper modern coding/IC for faster-ish charging, so whatever you plug in will probably charge very slowly
Dude I love this video. Before I was like "this guy is stupid, who needs that many cables?" After going to university and always forgetting a cable or charger when I switch bags,I neeeeeeeeed this now. Ha who woulda known. Keep it up.
This video has NOTHING to do with survival in survival situation everything in this video will be USELESS this more of an everyday carry fanny pack options 2.0 case
I was randomly linked here after an MKBHD video and I really like your idea. I actually bought the spuds microfiber cloth. Also DBZ for life- Thanks -subbed
nice.... but since you are a macfanboy, Where are you going tu put that SDcard? in your 3000 us $ Mac book "pro"? ir order to survive with that laptop you Need a lot more adapters @uravrconsumer
I love how you added a mechanical pencil in a tech video, it's so rare but awesome! I've always been looking for a really good one. Can you do more tech videos with mechanical pencils in it? Thank you UrAvgConsumer!
, and also by the way just a recommendation for your next video always put your website in the description for this way just click on your website and I can order it straight from your website or even if you're on let's say Amazon I can order straight from your webcam from your link on Amazon but should be in the description of the RUclips video God bless
cool vid. mayB u could have one kit as a survival kit aka long trips from home/travel the world & one kit as a On-The-Go kit for just average work/school/commute settings. just a thought. cuz their are sum items u might want to take/ not want to take in different scenarios.
Not hating but you say that this is a "rather inexpensive" survival kit, and while everything is fairly cheap it all adds up to about $210 before tax in the us. Aside from that, great video. Keep doing what you are doing!
I have been looking for a tech organizer to throw in my vanquest trident 20... Thanks man! Btw as a tech guy you would probably appreciate that backpack, look into it.
I'm not sure but ,if anyone else needs to find out about storing food for survival try Franaar Spies Control Formula (just google it ) ? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my brother in law got excellent results with it.
I put together the first Survival Kit you made and a carry it everywhere. My friends use the cables and adaptors all the time, it's been a lifesaver. Got to add the new items you showed in this cudeo including the new carry bag. ✌🏼😎
They're just wanting you actually forgot in the survival kit and that is a car charger which means another way let's say for example your car battery went dead then what that's something you guys forgot about and I just wanted to remind you that people drive cars these days and don't be a nice thing to drop into a survival kit like this God bless you for making videos and these things because it's really necessary sometimes and the one thing that is always necessary car charger that will actually charge up your battery from your car that's what it is your car battery now you could get these at places like one second I bought a short at the bunch of places you can actually get car chargers for your battery from your car but it would be nice if when you buy the kit it actually has a car charger in it and it's a powerful one and you know and I'll be very very good God bless you thanks for the info it is very important and thank you again take care
My fav cable is one with the lightning, a 30pin for my old ipod touch and a mini USB. This covers all my bases. No one has the 30 pin anymore so I always carry one.
I know that you're the master of backpacks, so I'd like some advise. I currently am in school, so I have to carry around a ton of books. What backpack would you recommend that would suit what I need and more?
I have the Anger 4-port USB hub and it does not work with the mouse. Only if it directly plugged in to the computer. If plugged into the hub the mouse connection is intermittent at best. 😤👎
"it has a strap if you're into that sort of thing" 😎
I see you, Judner
Yrvin Claveria k
Lol. I just came on here to quote that too. Knew it’d be here already though.
LMAO.
HAHAHHAHHAHA
"Average Consumer"
Your "Survival Kit" costs more than my smartphone lol
how???
yes and how is it over 8k everything is about 150 give or take
ranroun3 your math is way off. the portablr battery alone is over 150.
Rey the battery is 18 dollars if someone wants to write out how this is over 8k feel free
please show me i would love to see
All I need in a survival tech kit is a power bank that's it !
Yash Vasava Exactly.
Yash Vasava indian jugaad 😂
And a cable, since you can't charge your device without a cable 😂
Unless you got them wireless charge power banks
me to, cause my phone is dying all the time and i aint carrying around a black pack all day to hold a tech kit
Nice naruto shirt😎👌 hidden leaf symbol on the shirt right?
that's a DBZ shirt
Justuravggamer mfw
It's a DBZ shirt idiot
FancyLlamas 😱😱😱😱 really I had no idea
FancyLlamas he was being funny. with all thise emojis anyone could tell (I meant to say he/she was being sarcastic)
oh I thought this was actually a survival kit lol
For some people it is a survival kit. :p
Stoneysilence amen
I think a little car charger would be a good addition
True
i can afford the dust that will gather in that case
Wait what if you forget the Survival Kit?
Thanushan .S lol bro
Thanushan .S backup survival kit haha
Get a tracker or remind yourself
Thats why you watch Ned's Survivals Guide
you have a survival kit for the survival kit
I saw you in the LG ad
can this be pinned for no reason
superkid542 no
superkid542 no
superkid542 never
Giannis Antetokounmpo why did u get more likes then the one who commented first????
AKzebraMiner because I'm an NBA All Star...
those 3 way cables are garbage man they charge your stuff at the slowest speeds possible, everything else is dope though
Ken's Animation your legendary dragon
wroooooooooooooong
+Bryce William I tested it bruh, I don't have random power bricks with half a amp charging my stuff
Bryce William do you have the cable in the video?
But I have the cable and mutiple bricks so how can you say so if you haven't done any tests? Exactly, you can even check the Amazon reviews and see the same thing
For anyone wondering this kit costs about $232.70 in total. I estimated some of the prices since they were unavailable in amazon.
im in the UK and some is not available - trying to decide the best options for me as a Dog walker out all day and then doing camps at the weekends wit the scouts
Not nearly as bad as some of the other stuff he’s done. Still though
Can i get a thumbs up just like everyone else that asks?
JL Unboxed no because of the way you asked
Daniel Jones OK im sorry :(
And who saw UrAvgConsumer in the LG advert? Good job man!
Thanks for the video! I didn't realize that I was in dire need of a tech bag. That Bagsmart thing is a lifesaver, dude.
+Davis Sawali Np! Go make it!
well 207.78 usd is a lot for you average consumer. (with tax and prime) Please come back to the normal peoples ground
What $207 item are you referring to? I was talking about the first item on the list. It's like 30 CAD on Amazon.
ups wrong comment. my fault I tries to comment in a post were someone said:" that kit cost like a budget pc" and the youtuber said "check your maths"
when your ad even has UrAvgConsumer in it. Thanks LG
Why don't you do a budget tech kit or tech kits to suit different budgets
Notification squad???
This is not really "average" but ok, I already get used to it.
Would make sense to add an HDMI cable?? It might be to bulky for the kit. I have almost every thing you have in yours.
Jennifer Colson maybe a thinner one would be useful. You never know when you'll want one.
I can live without evry of these things
Two week old video and the BAGSMART bag listed is no longer available on Amazon. That was a fast tech bubble
Marty Smith did you find an alternative I think I found one from BAGSMART but I was looking for other people's opinion
Just like this kit. This video is a must have.
I thought you said: "Just like this kit. This man is a must have.".
Lol.
Adam Jhon either or lol
We are trying to get a Amazon Echo Dot for our technology club to learn more about voice control and home automation. You can donate at our go fund me page at www.gofundme.com/techclubechodot any amount will be greatly appreciated.
Can you make a house tour video? Please 😁
the only thing that's really a survival kit is that Master Grade Heavy arms kit
that multi cable doesn't have a 30 pin cable, deffo a deal breaker 😓
Why are you even still using 30-pin?
Bryce William that doesn't make sense.
Bryce William what? I'm saying what you just said makes no sense. What does where he live have anything to do with whether it has a 30 pin cable.
Bryce William now what? Nothing. I can't do anything so it's up to you but you should.
Bryce William ha you're trying to belittle me and make me sound like a child when I'm probably older than you.
if you're gonna throw the kit in a bag or backpack.... why not just carry all that shit in a backpack.
becausw it would be a mess
also to give u more room for other stuff like clothes, deoderant , toothbrush, ect
Not an average consumer
i made my own for 33$ from everything i could find on aliexpress (case-10$)
Do I jailbreak guys? I'm in 6s so I have those weird battery problems too.
ye. I'm in the 7 and can't jailbreak since I updated to iOS 10.2.1 :(
kspotts20 Yes, Jailbreaking is awesome!! But just be careful on the tweaks you download, some of them can fuck up your phone
kspotts20 jailbreaking will make the battery worse lol, did you check if apple will replace your battery for free with their 6s battery program? I just had mine replaced last month since I had those problems and my serial number was valid
kspotts20 if changing battery life is all you need then jailbreaking is not actually needed. You can just replace your battery then if the problem still occurs then you jailbreak
The portable charger doesnt have 3 amp fast charging, thats pretty much standard at this point.
Excellent video. Some good ideas in there.
u should try a tech survival kit for under 100

Thats great... But what if you forget to bring your tech survival kit???
you kit seems limited, all it offers is recharging and data connection options.
if there is room, why not add some audio options?
i have a much bulkier kit, but some of these items might inspire:

-3.5mm audio splitter
-6.35mm to 3.5mm converter
-3.5mm to 6.35mm converter
-bluetooth audio receiver
(to be added later: FM audio receiver)
to light my way:
-led flash light (very bright, high end)
-led flashlight (floody and angled, high end, usable as headlamp)
-batteries for led flashlights incl: nimh and lithium ion rechargable.
-olight UC universal charger (smallest charger, can handle both chemistries)
-tiny multimeter (cheapo off ebay, just for testing batteries)
-several of those tiny bicycle emergency lights (bought at the dollar store, expendable, to be used as signal lights or to mark an object or location)
-2 tiny bicycle lights i fitted with alternate leds (one candle flicker and one colour fading, for moral boosting when stuck hiding from the rain on bicycle trips)
misc:
-a tiny flask of oil, originally from a sewing machine. (i keep this to service o-ring seals such as in my flashlights.)

-couple of small ziplock baggies to hold small items (like tiny screws or springs or other items that are likely to get lost)

-leatherman squirt multitool
-victorinox explorer swiss army knife
to be added in the near future:
-rechargeable electric lighter (glowing spiral design, might upgrade to that plasma lighter if anyone makes them again)
-bluetooth gps locator thingy keychain. (experimental, hoping it will serve as a means to find my phone and used as a gps tracker)

Thanks for the video! What mic are you using to record this video?
Micro USB that's what my Samsung Galaxy J7 Sky Pro & my $15 Billboard Air Pod look a likes use to charge
Hi, would you be kind enough to provide a link to the powerbank? (or all the items in fact) I could not catch the name. Thank you

I put together the first Survival Kit you made and a carry it everywhere. My friends use the cables and adaptors all the time, it's been a lifesaver. Got to add the new items you showed in this cudeo including the new carry bag. ✌🏼😎
They're just wanting you actually forgot in the survival kit and that is a car charger which means another way let's say for example your car battery went dead then what that's something you guys forgot about and I just wanted to remind you that people drive cars these days and don't be a nice thing to drop into a survival kit like this God bless you for making videos and these things because it's really necessary sometimes and the one thing that is always necessary car charger that will actually charge up your battery from your car that's what it is your car battery now you could get these at places like one second I bought a short at the bunch of places you can actually get car chargers for your battery from your car but it would be nice if when you buy the kit it actually has a car charger in it and it's a powerful one and you know and I'll be very very good God bless you thanks for the info it is very important and thank you again take care
omfg YESSSSSS
My fav cable is one with the lightning, a 30pin for my old ipod touch and a mini USB. This covers all my bases. No one has the 30 pin anymore so I always carry one.
I know that you're the master of backpacks, so I'd like some advise. I currently am in school, so I have to carry around a ton of books. What backpack would you recommend that would suit what I need and more?
That 00 Quanta is intense. I see the GN Sword IV, but that big double ended sword I don't recognize. Looks like something off the XN Raiser.
I have the Anger 4-port USB hub and it does not work with the mouse. Only if it directly plugged in to the computer. If plugged into the hub the mouse connection is intermittent at best. 😤👎
