    So watched this a couple times, went to a local launch party tonight and played the Pro for my first time. Was able to have a “monster” game and reached 218million which got me into the playoffs and managed a second place and won a Premium translate! Thanks for the insight and tips! Best takeaway was to trap with the little flipper and then let it drop controlled to the right flipper. Most painful shot was draining off a successful fin shot. Great and fun game, the Pro felt full, considering purchase, good video!

    An amazing game -- great flow, so much variety and complexity, theme, etc. Another grand slam by the GOAT.

    Thanks for posting these videos! They really help me learn the rule set for these Stern machines. It can be tough to figure out what is going on at the arcade while the ball is in play and all the flashing lights.

    Thanks Travis, knew about the flip lock, but didn't know I could control it with a green action button push. Good stuff to know

    Based on your stellar comments of this game and Joels (as well as many others) … I broke down and placed an order for a premium. Excited to get it in the gameroom.
    Keep up the excellent work…the content is appreciated!

    This is a great tutorial. Thank you very much for doing this. It seems like that's a great way to start by going after the captive balls while you have your ball save on. Of course if I can get 200 million on ball one by not having any ball outlane drain I'll be so happy LOL.

    Awesome helpful video thanks! Have a premium on order that should be arriving soon. I’ve heard a lot about the airball issue and can’t say I noticed any watching your gameplay. Have you made any adjustments or has it not been an issue for you?

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  3 месяца назад

      You're welcome. I appreciate you watching. In general the copies I've had haven't had these issues. But I have found a quick solution is not run your fingers over the chumline area to make sure that mech is flush with the playfield. If not, unscrew it and align it the best you can.

    Nice video, so fluid and descriptive. Don't know how you talk so controlled with so much going on, ha!. Playing the Pro version at our local brewery. How important is that initial Skill Shot? Like point-wise. I can't seem to get the plunger right, any tips on that?

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  5 месяцев назад

      Thanks! I'll miss somethings but usually we'll just try to be very focused on certain aspects of the game. Points wise upfront, the skill shot isn't too important in that regard. On the newest code, v.85, short plunging is pretty much the best strategy. You'll either complete the level 1 skill shot for 5M and have a clean shot at the left gate to start a quickshot or at worst you'll be in decent control of the ball with the ball saver still going. On my copy the washer (on the plunger rod) is usually a little above the 3rd line at the plunge.

    Thanks. This is about where I am after 35 plays on Pro and 15 on Premium at 4 different locations. I love the flow. The JAWS Rulesheet is still not available. I can't master the Life Ring action button save in time to save the ball from left hand drain...very hard to predict when to use it ! Skill shot also baffles me. I hate wasting time trying to finesse the plunger. Any ideas on how you actually "complete" JAWS Multiball One and Two after initiating them?

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  5 месяцев назад

      For Jaws 1, I believe it's getting 4 jackpots to initiate the victory combo phase. Jaws 2 MB needs 5 jackpots, each jackpot lights up after hitting the switch threshold. The switch thresholds are 20-25-35-50-75.

    Just keep the ball above the flippers. It's just that simple.

  • @ladiesman2048

    So if nothing is lit you hit the shark?

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  3 месяца назад +1

      In most cases. Use the captive ball at the shark to light the encounters. Though you get to a point in the game currently where all the encounters are finished and you'll start focusing on other parts of the game like fish finder targets.

    I'm a new player looking to get a pro model. Would you recommend JAWS, JP, or GZ pro? Just looking for something that I will enjoy keeping for some time.

    • @ThePinballCompany
      @ThePinballCompany  3 месяца назад

      Godzilla probably plays the most forgiving out of all of those. JAWS is still early code that will continue to be refined for the next 12-18 months. Jurassic Park and Godzilla both have essentially complete code that have been refined over the last few years. Lots of ways to play both of those games. You can't go wrong with either of those as they're both fantastic experiences. Godzilla if you want the easier playing game. JP if you enjoy a challenge.

      Easy way to play it if a player doesn't want to go too in depth, hit boat captive ball up the middle or chum bucket ball enough to light shots. Hit any lit shot. Keep hitting anything that's lit. Rinse and repeat for 3 balls.
