Maybe this is the wrong video to comment on but I watched the whole series on cabling, this one seems the most appropriate.
I am trying to do cabling for a 15 pin connector to a flat 11 pin. The 5 wires oh the bottom row of the 15 pin connector are all grounds that need to merge a few inches out of the connector and that single wire they all merged into needs to go to pin 11 on the flat connector. Is there any way to do this? This being merging multiple wires into one.
Subsequently I'll need to make this a flat harness for manufacturing.
Thank you in advance! Your videos are a wealth of knowledge!

You can do that with splices. I haven't done any videos on splices because I find them terribly boring. But you can find information on how to do splices in both the PTC Help and Precision LMS.

Thank you much for your videos.
You know what I want to understand - don't you have a chapter in one of your books which will be like "Full Cable&Harness routing process"? Something that can be easy to read and to understand?
I mean that if you have some knowledge on the subject - that's ok and you take all these staff you show - but mostly people just see "clicks" not the process.
    Thanks.
    Sergey

I don’t think people understand how hard writing a book is. I write books on subjects that I am passionate about and that I think I bring a new and unique take on the subject. I don’t think you have a right to judge me because I haven’t written a book on a subject you want me to.

@@CADPLMGuy Wow, Dave! Don't take me wrong please. You're the great specialist and your time is your time! I've just asked if you already had it - no bad intention was behind! Sorry if I wasn't clear on the subject.
      Take care, Guru!
