The "I'm five" joke actually started from Chan and everyone copies it since then 😂 its from a SKZ Code special episode called Stay Kids Family, where they each played a member of a family and Chan was the 5 year old son

I think it depends on who teaches the person English, so if the teacher has a British accent the student will likely have one too. It also depends on who they are around, for instance the other skz boys have a slight Aussie accent every now and then simply because they practice English with our Aussie members.
The ‘I’m 5’ running joke actually started with Chan when they were doing a SKZ family skit, he was the youngest son of the family. They showed it in the compilation, the clip where Chan is in the orange hoody is where it all started.

I’m very sorry to ask this of you, but do you know exactly how many episodes of SKZ Family there is because I would like to watch them from the beginning. Can you please help me? 🙏

    • @mazzy305
      @mazzy305 8 месяцев назад

@@charlotte3102 sure thing, the episodes usually go together with a celebration, the first and last skits were to celebrate the Korean holiday of Chuseok (I may have spelled that incorrectly) which people often spend with their families. And the middle skit is to celebrate Stray Kids’ anniversary as a group. There are 4 episodes in total.
So the very first SKZ family skit was from when they were a nine member group from their show ‘the 9th’ season 5 episode 3. You should be able to find it if you search for ‘stray kids the 9th season 5 episode 3.
Then there is the first time they did the skit with 8 members which is their group’s 3rd anniversary video. If you search ‘stray kids 3rd anniversary skz family’ you should be able to find it.
After that there is the most recent skit that goes over two episodes of their show ‘skz code’ episode 39 and 40 titled ‘SKZ family returns’. If you just search for SKZ code ep 39 and ep40 respectively then you should find it petty easily.
Or cause you will find all of these videos if you search ‘SKZ family’ but they might not come up in order. Hope this makes sense and helps.

Han spent some of his formative years in English speaking parts in Malaysia, so that is most likely where he picked up his accent. But I honestly love how good all of them are at speaking English! (Of course I know that it's harder for Lee Know, Changbin, and I.N, but, as Hyunjin said: "English is hard." Or, as Lee Know said: there are a lot of others in Stray Kids who know English well, so he focused on Japanese.)
I'd totally love to see more content lile thie from you, especially from the Stray Kids boys! I like these kinds of videos a lot, so I really enjoy basically watching them with someone (aka watching someone who knows the boys react to them). There are more Stray Kids English compilations out there, I think those would be fun, too. But really, whatever you enjoy reacting to most will be fun for us to watch 😊

I recommend *Katya Storm* videos, she has funny compilations by eras that are hilarious, I highly recommend the "Chan made a Kkulchong EDM Song Just because Lee Know Told Him To" which is basically that, Chan making a song from scratch during a stream just because Lee Know asked him, the whole process was hilarious and the result is a banger 😂

I don't know why people jump to the "your English is so good" rather than just asking where they're from. Of course I don't expect everyone to know Felix is from Australia. Of course not. But generally, if someone sounds like a native English speaker, they just might be.
Han's accent is so interesting to me. I realize that he learned British English, but he also says other things in a super American way. He has a fun mix of accents.

I do believe the general widespread usage of British accented English for non native speakers comes from when they had huge trade networks and colonies everywhere.

I really love watching funny stuff with you.
Maybe we can watch some member related stuff next.... like bangchan is the father of 7 kids or seungmin is the menace if SKZ...❤

Ooooohhhh, oh, oh, oh, you have to watch SKZ Family!! 😂 It's skit where they play a family and it is a COMPELTE disaster. 🤣🤣🤣
They started a few years back so there are 3 editions of the family skits in the SKZ code episodes.

In my country, the academies don't teach American English. I picked it up from music and TV Shows and never looked back. I kinda miss my British accent. My pronunciation it's very Bronx now. lol

about the british accent: in my country most (if not all) the english institutes use a british accent, so most of the english teachers have a bit of a british accent or pronunciation because of that if they're not native english speakers. so it kinda spreads around while people teach and learn, but it's still hard to understand when listening if you're learning (it wasn't to me because i knew english already but it was for the rest) so in schools it just adds to the poor english teaching

So the reason Han sounds British is because he grew up in Malaysia and Malaysia at some point was taken over by Britain or at least that's what i heard, and he also had a British English teacher.

7:03 the second clip started the joke actually, the rest of the clips are just them and chani himself making fun of it lol

Since this is an older compilation video it’s not a great visualization of how well the other non-English speakers of the group have gotten with their fluidity with the English language.
The Only member who Id say is the least likely to use a lot of English words or just uses English the least would be Lee Know (Minho) he uses English words as well as the others like basic common words like “OK, Fighting, Let’s Go, Yes, No, Thank You. . . etc”
But he’s stated that all the other members are great with English so he’s not worried that they have it under control. So he’s solely focused on learning Japanese for their Japanese fans to be better with communicating with them & being the member who takes the lead in interviews & award shows that are in Japan so that he can speak for the group in that fashion. Which is truly admirable. Of course the other members are able to speak Japanese as well but Lee Know has been the member who has been more focused with learning the language for their Japanese fans.
I believe Han also can speak Some Mandarin (I could be completely wrong but I believe that he does speak some dialect of the Chinese language) & Felix has some knowledge of French & he’s also spoken in Russian before & I’m sure the other members have some basic knowledge of multiple languages so they can speak to as many fans as possible.
Truly the definition of “Stray Kids everywhere all around the world” they really meant that ish!!
& that’s why they are so incredibly adored & loved by so so so many people all across the world!
