I'm 34 and I am disabled with no kids...awesome husband so a win in that department lol but I want nothing more in life to become a mother and I know my husband would make an awesome dad and I look at yalls channel and it reminds me of us. Yall make me laugh, keep me informed, bring on all these beautiful places, and I pray one day I can have a beautiful family like you both do. It inspires me as weird as that may sound.

My husband and I LOVE that show, What We Do in the Shadows! And we feel the same way. We want to recommend it to people but it’s also so weird but a must watch in our opinion!

What We Do in the Shadows is hilarious! The OG movie was filmed in my neighbourhood, so it just felt so familiar and like an actual documentary - that's why they kept the humour so deadpan. Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement did an amazing job.
There is also a spin off show called 'Wellington Paranormal', which focuses on the police (characters who were in the movie) dealing with the antics of supernatural beings around Wellington. (We live in Wellington, so maybe this is just hilarious to us 😂)
Ohhh my GOD! I was eating when you guys mentioned "In the Shadows" and I almost choked! My husband and I loved that movie and subsequent TV show! Lol! We also live in Michigan and love Disney! We used to go to Great Wolf Lodge for Halloween when are kids were younger! Too funny!
I also love Meijer! Hubby and I met while we were attending Michigan State University and we ALWAYS shopped at Meijer...and we still do. Not the same one, but they're everywhere! Lol!

I am so excited because we're going to a Great Wolf Lodge for the first time soon! I saw you mention it in vlogmas. I don't know how I missed these vlogs but yay! Our kids are older and we're staying longer but I think they'll have way more to do. There are slides and they can do all the extra stuff that they offer as well. So glad you guys had a good time. Hopefully we like it too!

It’s odd because I didn’t care too much for the precursor movie “what we do in the shadows”, but the series is so freaking hilarious. Even more so now that Kristen Schaal is a regular!

I love the series too! The movie is funny but the series is hilarious! I just came back from comic con & waited to get in their panel for the Q&A of this week’s episode (so good!). Only bad thing was they ran out of free t-shirts 3 before I got to the front of the line. It was a logo of naja’s new night club.
I will say to anyone who hasn’t seen the show yet - it’s rated MA for a reason. It’s doesn’t feel crude but I would not watch it in front of my mom

For now, the Meijer in Traverse City is being remodeled as we speak. I’ve seen the construction progress pretty frequently.
I grew up in Michigan but left for the Army; recently moved back after more than 16 years away. I didn't get to see much of Michigan growing up but your videos have made me excited to get out an explore. Booked a room at Great Wolf for my son and I, looking forward to making memories. Thank You!

Our family goes to the great wolf lodge at least once a year, our most recent trip was just earlier this month and these vlogs are making me miss it and want to go back again already. Time to book another stay! ❤️
At some point you guys should really go to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore! It’s about 40 min east of Traverse city. If you’re not much of a hiker or you have small kids. Just doing the scenic drive is worth it. So beautiful! And then stop in Leland and go to the Cove restaurant (ask to be seated outside) on the way back to Traverse for lunch or dinner. Such a scenic place and great restaurant. Also recommend Brys Estate winery tour. It’s on the first little peninsula there by Traverse city. Or to at least do one of the winery tours there.

Great Wolf Lodge is great! Also Kalahari! Definitely places great if only a weekend available.

What we do in the shadows is one of my favorite shows too! A new season just started a couple of weeks ago and yes it is weird and don't know who i would recommend it to. I live in Indy also and Golden Corral has a nice breakfast buffet and depending on what time you go and what day you go it will be a brunch buffet so they’ll have breakfast and lunch out also you can make your own omelette

As a “Dutchman”-lady--I approve of this road trip. My husband is from Grand Rapids, mom’s side is from Kalamazoo, we live on the IL/IN border so it’s about a two and a half hr road trip. Our favorite camping spot in Michigan is LUDINGTON in the summer ☀️.Want to take my kids to Traverse City, I’ve never been!

This hotel looks the same as it did when I stayed there in 2006/7. Also there used to be a buffalo farm right by this hotel too.

I like the new theme song. Yall are the cutest. I heard Jessica's New Orleans story... lol that's where I'm from. It made me giggle because it's so typical. You have to push those shooter girls off of you. lmao! I have been wanting to try out a Great Wolf Lodge I have been seeing commercials for them lately. Looks like a great time! Excited to be in Disney in January! It's a Christmas surprise for my two boys. My oldest is 9 and my youngest is 18 months. So pumped!!
