The conflict escalates and Russian nuclear torpedoes are detonated. NATO hits Kaliningrad with a Trident nuclear missile. Russia launches a pre-emptive nuclear strike against the West. And history ends with the fire and fury of World War 3.

Opening with a familiar shot of the BBC newsroom, a grim-faced presenter announces a ‘serious incident between Russia and NATO’. ‘Although the details are uncertain, early reports indicate that a Russian surveillance aircraft was fired upon by naval vessels of NATO forces,’ the presenter says. As the report progresses, the incident escalates to the point where Russian warships have fired on NATO targets. The Royal Family are evacuated from Buckingham Palace in London. An emergency broadcast advises everyone else to stay at home and thermonuclear war erupts, destroying the German city of Mainz and part of Frankfurt before the signal is lost.
The video features actor Mark Ryes and was produced for an Irish company in 2016. Mr Ryes told the BBC: ‘It was created by a company called Benchmarking Assessment Group as a psychometric test for their clients to see how they'd react in a disaster scenario. As an actor playing this role, I recorded the video against a green screen. I had no part in the editing or production of the final piece.’ Mr Ryes sent his recorded material to David Ringwood, Benchmarking Assessment Group's head of assessment services.
According to the company website, Benchmarking Assessment Group was ‘founded in 2006 in Ireland’ and works with clients to develop ‘methodologies in assessment for selection, development and talent management.’ Mr Ringwood had not responded to requests for comment at the time of writing.

I’ve removed all references to the Russian invasion of Poland, the Baltic States, Finland, Romania, etc, and re-edited the rest to present a more realistic nuclear war scenario. I’ve added the Bush speech where he unwittingly compares the Russian invasion of Ukraine with the ‘wholly unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq’ by US forces. Jens Stoltenberg explains how uncompromising NATA enlargement provoked the war in Ukraine producing yet more NATO enlargement, greater animosity with Russia, and a heightened risk of World War 3.

With due respect to criticism of this movie, I think it is an awesome portrayal of how the ordinary citizens would learn of and experience such a disaster.
I think it's true to a point, in that it’s unlikely that we would have much warning of any attack. With Russian subs' ability to launch from a few hundred miles offshore, not to mention the hypersonic missile technology now in play, we might have 10 minutes warning at best. If Russia was to launch a first strike, it wouldn't start with one random nuclear explosion in Poland which would alert all NATO forces. It would be a first strike designed to take out as much of NATO's retaliatory capability as possible.
Chilling thought, isn't it?

Turns out there was a story on the CBC about how that very video caused panic by a bunch of goobers who didnt take the time to realize it was fake. Basically its this video you just saw, but about 10 minutes longer and more detailed. You saw the essentially the same video albeit slight shorter

How can there be a fair settlement? Russia invaded a country whose borders it had previously guaranteed. It is irrelevant in international law that Putin saw an existential threat from NATO (which incidentally is too weak to defend itself), or perceives Ukraine as part of Mother Russia. He and his minions is a war-monger.

You edited out the references of russian invasions to present a more "realistic" picture, while ignoring the fact that the current tensions exist only because fascist Russia started an invasion. There's a reason why so many countries, that were once occupied by Russia, were more than happy to join NATO out of free will. Fascist Russia's invasion of Ukraine has shown why. Painting NATO as aggressors is completely stupid. If NATO were aggressors, Russia's military capabilities would be gone within 48 hours.

Under Trump there was relative peace in the Middle East. In fact Trump crafted the David Accords and had Iran under control. As soon as Biden became president he (or those controlling him) decided it was a good thing to reverse every single action that Trump took. We can see the results. You can say weakness , perhaps worse. You can see the results. I didn't even mention that Trump was made real progress in Korea. I know that many haveTDS but the results speak for themselves. I just hope we can make to next January without a nuclear war! Again, thank you for your kind response. We still have the right to disagree. in this country.

This needs to be remade with the curent leaders pictures and names being used, then it would really be very scary.
Seems unlikely that nuclear weapons would be used so quickly. Both sides know full well that they can inflict major damage on “other side” but swift retaliation would follow. That’s how deterrence works. A more likely scenario has the war fought with regular weapons over a limited area. If the Russians can achieve what they want quickly, then they just need raise the cost of victory for NATO to a point that it will become politically impossible to achieve.

We have been having nuklar drills at my school. It's really scary, some of the others peed in their pants, but i didn't pee. Mom said i was a very brave boy and we shouldn't be scared of the nuklars because dad is building a shelter for us😊.
