Why can't we track the cell dynamics for example the vesicular transport with a fluorescent antibody. GFP and antibodies all attach to the target protein and by following their fluorescence pathway, we will be able to observe their movement. Can you please make this point clearer?
Hello, I study a bachelor biology and I don't understand something. If we put the GFP sequence instead of the gene body, how does the gene get transcribed? without a gene body? and only with a promotor?
If the promotor is present, any sequence following it will be expressed. The protein itself would be absent, however, the place in cell or a cell type where the protein is normally produced is revealed.
Thank you this is really helpful.
Glad to know that these contents are helpful for you
You are a lifesaver. From explaining all the PCR methods to presenting GFP, this is a mine of knowladge for us molecular biology students! thank you!

When you perform antibody labeling the cells die, so live dynamics is not possible to capture.
Thank you 🌺

love ur video 👍
What about resource competition between GFP and Protein of interest to effect translation/transcription efficiency
Could you please elaborate ?
It's helpful. Thanks

Sir can we use this GFP to study the formation of prions in nervous system?
Not really
