I tried to make this beautiful dua for my little brother in his janazah. It was by his graveside with only 6 of us present due to Covid. But my Arabic is slow and stuttering and I wasn’t able to finish it. I feel like I failed my brother in his janazah. I wish I had just prayed sincerely in English. Ya Rabb. The living have so many regrets. I pray Allah knows what was in my heart and accepts it anyway....
First off, don't feel guilty, you can still learn the prayers and pray for him. Secondly, go and watch the trauma series on Yaqeen Your lord has not forsaken you. It's a waswasa of shaitan to make you feeel like you have failed and you can't win again. Don't blame yourself so much, you were going through a terrible time and your execution wasn't perfect, your own self also needs help and compassion. Be kind to yourself too. I'm sorry for your loss. May Allah bless him with the best of jannah and accept your imperfect prayer. Ameen.

From the day of her death , i made promise to myself that i wont skip a single prayer and i will make dua in every prayer for her maghfirat and better after life. Then make du'a in your own laguage in a way that you would, if you were desperate yourself, as that person is desperate and in need of your du'a specially in those initial moments. I have watched clips of yours talking about death of a child and they were really soothing. Like to listen more about the souls of the children in Barzakh, simple things like what are they doing right now, how do they look as in they grow or remain the same as on death, can they see us etc..

I have watched clips of yours talking about death of a child and they were really soothing. Like to listen more about the souls of the children in Barzakh, simple things like what are they doing right now, how do they look as in they grow or remain the same as on death, can they see us etc..
