With relation to the comment on people acting like they're on TV: I can't really talk since I'm young enough that garbage reality TV has been around all of my life, but acting out and articulating seems like very natural human behaviour. It's not a delusion to think you are being observed (not all the time, of course), and the thought that other people are your audience or small bit actors to the performance of your life seems pretty accurate, and in turn you are the audience and a supporting/backing role to theirs'. A scene is just a setting with events, which occurs literally (literally literally) all the time. It's just a matter of perspective. Some people do take things to far, or act as if they are the center star of the universe (instead of just their own life) but in general I think people are *acting* much the same as they always have.
On the allergic thing: i work at a european airline as a costumer service agent and a few weeks ago a passenger made a complaint saying that she is allergic to peanuts and the "air hostess" offerred her food containing peanuts. Worst flight ever?
The thought of the worm thing is taht autoimmune diseases are treated by the fact that your immunesystem would rather attack the worms then your own body. Also these treatments go controlled they don't jsut swallow worm eggs and then go along with their life, they get treated for them after a certain amount of time (normally about 1-2 months after swalloing them) and then receive a new pill of worm eggs. It shows really good results in studies and is way less demanding on liver and heart then normal medication.
