It's very chilling to get a notification for this almost immediately after I heard about the Key Bridge incident that just happened in Baltimore. May those poor souls rest in peace.
I'm not a particularly religious man, but i can't help but adore the gospel music you so wonderfully perform. And the fact that this beautiful piece is the first one after I turn 20? I couldn't be happier!
Tim did give an amazing rendition. The closest to perfection. Still, check out "Only Boys Aloud", a Welsh boys' choir. The same arrangement for the most part, and equally spine chilling.
This is so beautiful Tim and sadly so timely with learning of the tragic bridge collapse in Maryland. May your beautiful voice & prayer be a comfort to all who are suffering right now.😢🙏🏻
This arrangement has long been a favourite of our chorus. Unfortunately, one of our members passed away recently, and there was never any doubt that we would sing this at his funeral earlier this week. It was heartfelt rendition and resonated beautifully in the Cathedral. We learnt it years ago from tracks Tim did years ago. Even though you were unaware, thanks Tim for contributing to such a special occasion for a chorus on the other side of the world (Australia), and for a man you'll never meet. It will be a lasting memory in our chorus and for his family, and was a fitting way to send off a man who truly loved music.
Beautiful ...simply beautiful. I especially love your rendition of Nearer my God to Thee. Just exquisite!! I first heard BYU Vocal Point sing it but I have to say I love your rendition more!!!
Thank you, Tim, for the amazing music that you share with us every week. I am from India. I sing in a quartet with three other friends and we are so inspired by the work that you do.
Can I say, I am a huge fan of barbershop, and I’ve never heard someone fit every part as well as you. You also did an amazing job in the Notre Dame medley!
You just knocked this one out of the park, brother! This was my favorite song to sing with the chorus back when I was singing with the Vocal Majority. You did Jim proud! ❤
Man what an ridicolously crazy and awesome c5! i just love the special tone of it. It sounds like it is coming from somewhere else and it is soft but extremely powerfull. And why? the operatic approach or the singers formant behind it! It sounds like an operatic c5 but dry cause the squillo is missing because the voice cant produce brassyness in low volume! Tim thats a piece of art
You may be interested to know - and I don't think others have mentioned it here - that this arrangement is based on an original setting written many decades go by A H Malotte who, among other things, wrote music for Disney. His TTBB arrangement of The Lord's Prayer is a male voice choir standard.
Tim thank you for sharing this wonderful arrangement of The Lord's Prayer. Do you know where we can purchase this arrangement so we can use it for our worship service on Sunday? So BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you!
A stunningly beautiful rendition. I only wish the King James translation had been used rather than the Revised Standard. Just a few differences, bur the King James is just thst bit more rich and regal.
Would you happen to know who the original composer of this version of the Lord's Prayer is? The earliest version I can find is James Cleveland. EDIT: It's Albert Hay Malotte

So such a terrible and sad accident.
Beautifully done...and so appropriate for the season!!
@@TimWaurickMusic next song to try, old cape cod made famous by Patti Duke. Use the David Wright arrangement.
I don't know what to say. I'm a 65 year old guy who was just brought to tears. Thank you for this!
Thank you, Tim!

Thank you, Shawn!!
God is smiling down on the sheer and utter talent he bestowed upon you, that you are using for him!!
Thank you, brother!!
Awww, who else in the world would you want to sing that prayer than Tim Waurick? Beautiful, bud! Bless you❤️💈
Thank you!

So happy to hear this!!
Heavenly within our life @ earth.

The "glory" chord was truly glorious!

Omg i did NOT expect that ending jazz chord!
Tuesday is my favorite day of the week. One reason is because of new videos from Tim Waurick.
Thank you!!
Gorgeous arrangement. Thank you for sharing this
This is a special tune to me. Was the piece playing when we buried my grandfather, and when my wife walked up the aisle. Beautiful, thank you.

Wow!
One of the very rare times that I have almost cried from listening to a song. I love how beautiful your singing and talent are! 😊
Spectacular!
Thank you, just thank you! ❤
I actually sing this version with my quartet! Always a good one.😊
1:04 crazy 5th harmonic literally sounds like another person singing
Also at 0:21 (bar 9), you hear clearly a G in undertone. I thought the bass was singing a different part than written lol.
@@nicolasclerc1986 that's actually insane i didn't notice that
Just as I learned it as a child! Thank you!
Come THROUGH, bass!!!!

Wow... Thank you for this, Tim!!

Great arrangement. Beautiful.
That F natural feels unnatural, but it also feels so good! Thanks for pointing it out :)
Mario Lanza would be jealous. Beautiful.
Tim thank you for sharing this wonderful arrangement of The Lord's Prayer. Do you know where we can purchase this arrangement so we can use it for our worship service on Sunday? So BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you!

Finally early for one of these vids! Thanks for posting, Tim. I've started to love Christian Music (gospel?) because of you :D
That's awesome!
Would you happen to know who the original composer of this version of the Lord's Prayer is? The earliest version I can find is James Cleveland.
EDIT: It's Albert Hay Malotte
Is this the same version that the Dealer's Choice also sang? It sounds like it.... that might make them the first instead of Acoustix, no?
I saw that opt down and I was really hoping 😢
Look up the Lord’s Prayer vocal majority
Can you please tell me which software you use to make a video like this?
How do you hold your breath for so long?
Also, I never noticed that minor-major seventh chord before! You hardly ever see it!
Is this on Spotify?
what are those X's above certain notes in the notation?
