Vita is a Goddess from Venus who now looks over the planet Phosphorus. SA was her creator, and the one she stole authority from alongside the mecha, which Vita upgraded.
*SPOILERS for Chapter 37 and beyond!* Vita is essentially the goddess of Venus in HI3rd. She was created by the former goddess Sa (or Saha) 250 million years ago to do her bidding. Vita didn't want to be controlled any longer, so she defeated Sa with some outside help and took her powers, becoming an omniscient goddess herself. When Sparkle referred to Vita as Sa, she became visibly upset because she despises the name of her creator and captor. This is just a concept trailer, so it’s not canon. However, Vita actually met Sparkle in the recent story chapter of Part 2. We don’t know much yet, but the real Sparkle from HSR is part of the main story in HI3rd. Since this takes place before HSR, this is technically her first appearance in the Honkai series. Chapter 6 of part 2 , and the collab event will be released at the end of November.

@@TheCaliMack As someone who has been playing since 2019 and started a new account two years ago, I must say the new player experience is much better than it was in the past. It is a bit rough around the edges, and you might feel confused at first, but it becomes easier with time. Don't get me wrong; it is a long and older game, 47 chapters long to be exact (42 in Part 1 and currently 5 in Part 2). There are also multiple official mangas and visual novels that aren’t mandatory but significantly enhance the experience. I understand it can be a big commitment, but it's worth it. There are eight years of content to consume at your own pace and You'll get to know a beautifully written cast of characters who mature and evolve throughout the story. But I get it that you don't want to add another game when you're already juggling four, lol. If you're interested in the story of Honkai Impact 3rd, check out a video by our resident Honkai lore CC HomuLabs called "The Entire Story of Honkai Impact 3rd in 20 Minutes.” It’s funny because it was the video she got recommended after her reaction. In 2024 (current time in game), Kiana was visited in her dreams by a godlike being who informed her about the crisis on Mars. After this encounter, Kiana fell into an endless slumber. In the recent chapter, we met Kiana again. She was approached by a Memokeeper in her dreams who wanted to preserve her memories, but Kiana refused. The Memokeeper then told her that Kiana's will alone was as strong as an Emenator. The Memokeeper then asked, “Which Eon watches over this place, or is this world (our solar system) beyond their gaze and untouched by the Trailblaze itself?” On the other side, Vita met with Sparkle. Their conversation suggests that this was not their first meeting. Sparkle handed Vita multiple masks, and Vita accepted Sparkle’s invitation by putting on the one mask that was also shown in the concept trailer. That is all we know so far. She's still fairly new to it. To brag a little more: Sa, the original and full powered version that Vita stole powers from, was sniped by part 1 protagonist Kiana from Earth's moon to the farthest planet in the solar system, using power low enough to not annihilate everything but enough to kill Sa(Sa is estimated to be 10% of Kiana's(cocoon) power
As someone who started hi3 3 years ago, I'll tell you now the game is phenomenal, but if you pick it up be forwarned the new player onboarding is atrocious. You get bombarded with constant achievements, rewards, tutorials, system introductions, and the start of the game (first few chapters), which has very slow paceing. 80% of the early game is claiming free summons, valkeries (characters), and materials and clicking through tutorials. Once you get a few chapters in rewards and tutorials slow down and the story picks up.
Well, first of all, HI3rd and HSR share the same universe, so the collab could very well be canon, and either way, Sparkle shows up in the main story so they would go hard on it. Vita is basically a minor goddess in HI3rd. She is a clone of another being, Sa, and was used as an enforcer of her will, which Vita really did not like as Sa did not value free will in her enforcers. But Sa was eventually defeated and Vita usurped her power. This is why Vita gets irritated when Sparkle mentions Sa. While she isnt quite as chaotic as sparkle, Vita is also a huge troll and tends to annoy the rest of the casts while still being an ally. We dont see it at play here, but on top of the star jumper mech, she also has the eyes of Bodhi which gives her some omniscience such as being able to read others' thoughts and being able to percieve things others cant. She can also reverse time. Spoilers: Sparkle recruits Vita into the masked fools so we could very well see her over in HSR sooner or later.

I am Hi3rd and also HSR player. when i play Hsr and see the easter egg and similarity with Hi3rd, which makes lot of fun. And for Hi3rd players HSR isnt the beginning, it Just continuation of Hi3rd Part 01. like Hi3rd now is on p2.
For hi3 there is official storytelling for most of hi3 which is more easy to understand than watch storytelling from content creators but content creators have a deeper explanation on why that happens but still the official one is still more recommended for me personally

Idk about acheron being equal to vita tho. Bc Vita is OP AF. Tho we havnt seen the total power of Acheron.. But we havnt seen vita's whole powers either. If you had the chance to play the Ai-chan event when she released, you'd know she is off-script, in the event the Lobby gets corrupted and the system is at a massive failure and the missions were to fix the game itself defeating bugged enemies. Now with that information about Ai Hyperion Alpha, what would be her business with Vita, and why is Vita with her, ,aybe both are in that plane of being part of the story but also spectators of the same, sometimes like new update, getting themsleves involved like Vita did to help us in pt2
If, and only if you decide to dive into hi3 lore, the best way to do so, is by watching homu labs. If you don't care about lore only really interested in entertainment, you can watch the battlesuit trailers, or the short aninatioms (similar to what star rail does time to time). There's a lot of content outside the game, there's manga's like genshin, one which is widely agreed to be a confirmation that welt is the same welt from HI3, there's also story videos on the official channel, they don't go into much depth, which is why homu labs is better for hardcore lore enjoyers. He also explains the reason why sparkle is in HI3, has an entire video aroujd vita I'm pretty sure, and more!
Vita is 250 million year old clone of the last survivor of the venusian civilisation(which is Sa), which stole the authority from her mother/master at one point in the story after gaining freedom from her after gaining that freedom she has been trolling the other chara of the solar system and watching their story to get rid of her boredom then Sparkle came to recruit her as a new member of the masked fools and she immediatly accepted she is the second strongest chara in HI3 and isnt even a path strider, so once she will come to HSR she will be even stronger since she will be empowered by the path of Elation the strongest being Kiana being as strong as an emanator without being a pathstrider

@@jakeblitzcoffie4859Aeons is still debatable since Aeons themselves have very high authority on the imaginary tree and I'm pretty sure they don't really have a true physical body, on top of this Aeons feat has been consistently higher than Kiana currently with a lot of statements regarding couple Aeons casually destorying planets by simply moving nearby or being near it (IX for example destroyed Acheron/Raiden B. Mei's world by just being near it when They awaken). Meanwhile the Cocoon and by extension Kiana true power is still very mysterious though there are implications it came from outside the Imaginary tree itself and could be a powerful entity that might become a genuine threat. But Kiana should be able to wipe the floor against emanators thanks to the Cocoon power though, if Sa(and Vita) are really powerful despite being a fake goddess with powers based on the Cocoon, then the actual Cocoon is supposed to he more powerful than that. Sadly, Kiana haven't done much feat after getting the power of the Cocoon except for that one time she snipe a weakened Vita from the moon to somewhere near the edge of the solar system.
