Great way to repurpose. Using white vinegar helps to shine before sealing. It's much cheaper than windex.

Your plate is beautiful! Two questions: did you have to prime the bowl before starting to glue pieces? Also have you ever used steel wool to remove dried grout as opposed to a damp sponge to polish each tile?
