    Nice boulders

Thanks! 😊👍 They are actually real stones I picked up on the beach on the island of Öland in Sweden. They are a lot heavier than synthetic stones, but they sure look good. Very authentic! 😂

@@GrayArmyGaming that's so cool! I was thinking to myself "this guy must really like making foam rocks"
You must have a very sturdy table!

@@dubart5918 😂 I love making terrain, but not that much! 😂 What was great about these rocks was that they were curved except for one side that was completely flat. So they stand perfectly on the table! When I saw them I got super excited! They are a bit heavy, but not too bad. And they are entirely free! If you are gaming on a budget this is a great option. (Similar synthetic terrain can run one around $60-$75!) Moreover, each stone is entirely unique (as opposed to certain kits where you get multiple identical pieces.) I have a great table and decent storage, so I try to incorporate as many “naturals” as possible. It just makes the table feel so much more authentic. Maybe it is time to make a video about this? 😊👍

Love the layout with the rocks. Even adding the green flocking beside them adds to the realism.

@@donaldloewen4626 Thanks so much! I am amazed at how much can be accomplished with very little. I myself love the realism-it makes these games feel so much more immersive! Thank so much for your visit to the channel! 😊👍

Love the video. I may try doing a capture the flag game next! I also like the idea of flooding the field with rocks giving mele characters plenty of cover to move up and engage. I did a battlefront conquest style game recently where you have a good amount of points in your pool as well as a set number of points you can have in play. When you lose a figure, you free up points in play to spawn another figure at a command post costing you points in your pool. You can only spawn one figure per command post per turn. The game ends when a side is out of points or out of figures in play (this can happen if you still have points in your pool but can't spawn anyone due to not having a command post to do so).

Awesome idea with the command posts and the points pool! I will definitely have to give that a try! Thanks so much for the support and for keeping the excitement for SWM alive! 😊👍

@GreyArmyGaming Question, I love your batreps, and want to game with your mods you have done to the rules, but are you doing an armour save for every attack? I zone out bad sometimes and I can't seem to find if you are every time for every attack.

@@battlemastersamuel9709 Thanks so much! I have really been enjoying this game! I have been following the stat cards for the individual characters as closely as possible. If they have any special rules that mitigate damage (like armor) I try to incorporate them. Otherwise it is just hit rolls and damage! Have fun!! 😊👍🔥🔥🔥

@@GrayArmyGaming thanks for clearing that up for me! I also loved you video on the Starship battles game. I needed something to breath life into my XWing collection and I am going to start running your modded rules for it with those minis.
