Frankie just keeps getting better and better with time! Thanks for the great content as always! *Confession* I'm a vegan who almost never watches non-vegan cooking channels - and I can't get enough of Frankie
My partner made this for supper, and IT'S DELICIOUS! She ordinarily dislikes dark meat, but even she has to agree that the flavour and tenderness are perfect.
Frankieeee! Hello from India.. I would love it if you tried making Indian food as we're all about the struggle and most of us barely spend 70 rs (equal to around a dollar) to cook for an entire family for a whole day. (Also try South indian cuisine. I would love to see your twist on it and trust me you will love the food.)
Yummmm. Just add a couple of apples, peeled and cut into rings. Savory with a pop of sweetness. °°apple, sage stuffing. °°apole rings fried in the pork chop pan, with caramelized onions.
Been watching you on SC for quite a while now. Made this dish tonight and OMGosh I love it! Had enough left over for a few lunches this week. Thank you so much!
You are so distractingly beautiful and energetic. I realized today there has NEVER been an upload of yours that I have not had to skip back because I get a little lost watching you. Anyway we all need to be told that our beauty shines at least once in a while. I hope this adds a smile to your day! This dish in one alteration or another is a once a week in my house as well. :)
I zest my lemons, add them to vodka and make limoncello. Then I take the zest, put it in the freezer and use it in dishes. It doesn't freeze because of the residual alcohol.
I love this recipe!! If I didn’t have a whole chicken soaking in buttermilk and salt for tomorrow, I would be making this! But!!! I am going to the grocery store on Saturday and picking up some thighs just for this! 😋
All I can hear is 'you gotta break down the chicken, you gotta break down the chicken, BREAK DOWN THE CHICKEN' from the whole chicken snapchat recipes 🤣
I wanna know where they got potatoes for $1.33 and onion for 0.10. Those potatoes would cost 3.27 her and the onions about 0.70 same for the carrots. They would be twice that price.🤔
Walmart in my area has 5 lbs red potatoes for $3.47, so 1.5 lbs for this recipe would be $1.04. Carrots are $.67 per pound, so $.24 for 2 carrots is about right. I can't find anything that would match $.10 for half a red onion.
That's about how much that stuff costs in my area, I'm in central ohio. Aldi generally has 5 lbs of yellow potatoes for around $3, russets even cheaper. 2 lbs of carrots for less than $2. And bags of onions for just a couple of bucks too.
Mmm cold plated food... I feel like the producers of this show have made a bunch of small changes and not for the better. Miss the old vibe. Still love Frankie though!
I forgot they brutally murder the penny pig in the opening of each episode.....and then....cut away to an exact replica if the pig it's like the prestige 🤢🤢🤢

Imma smash that like button even before I check the content. Cuz I know if it's Frankie it's gonna be golden😄
You're the OG! 🙌 Thanks for watching!
Same ❤️
lol I did as well! @ liked before watching
I watched my first episode of struggle meals two days ago. I am hooked. You are my favorite chef of 2021, no matter how long ago you started.
I like how you explain things! Breaking it down!
I love this guy! He's so good with his recipes and saving a bundle on meals with his recipes!

Thank you, Frankie!
I just found your show on tv and I’m hooked!! Love it !
I just lost my job because of the pandemic, so I started a RUclips cooking channel. Wish me luck!!!
It’s interesting to see Frankie a bit mellowed out on STRUGGLE MEALS than when you see him in other channels.
What other channels is he in
@@onlyfacts5701 if you search Frankie Celenza he has his own channel and you can see some of his other work 😊

i think he tried a chicken tikka masala recipe not too long ago!
@@cw.33 chicken tikka masala is way too overrated. You need to try south indian food.
I can't believe you said the word moist in this here our year of the Lord two thousand and twenty one, Frankie 😂
Hahaha. MOIST! 😝

Looks delicious! Will give it a try this fall (too hot to bake right now).
So I’m ready to try this. Oven temp & time? Sending love from SC🐝
I was wondering the same thing
Made thus recipe tonight. Best chicken I've had in a long time.

Omg I'm gonna make this....Sunday !!
I bought a bulk pack of lemons a little bit ago and I decided to juice and zest them because they were starting to go bad

Apple cider vinegar + soy sauce is a great brine for pork roasts.
😋 looks so yummy!
nice to have you back
Thanks for watching! 👊
you inspire me to actually cook!!
Excellent editing
Keep the videos coming!
Yeah Yeah Yeah Frankie!!!!
Would it be possible to get a tutorial on the struggle herb garden?
All I can hear is 'you gotta break down the chicken, you gotta break down the chicken, BREAK DOWN THE CHICKEN' from the whole chicken snapchat recipes 🤣
Sounds amazing😊🍗🍖🍽🍴
Holy SMOKES, I literally make this EXACT dish once a month, but with sweet potatoes added. How did you know? 😂
I spy a new opening with pineapple upside down cake?!?! Yum!
omfg frankie i just recently found out you exist and my god you give me liiiiiiiife
I have the save black plate at my place.
May I substitute Apple Cider Vinegar for Balsamic Vinegar instead??? How does the end result smell?? It looked delicious
“It’s cold and dry outside!”
Me, a Southern Hemisphere resident: it’s hot and wet outside, but ok!🤷♀️👍🏻
My stomach is growling, Frankie! 🤤😋
What's the deal with the Tastemade website. Can't get any recipes. It just shows the show page...
I haven't seen you cook with beets (I might have missed the episode). Could you cook with them?

When baking the Chicken is the 165° C or F?

pickle juice...
I seriously can't believe they upload on schedule now
Same! WE BACK IN ACTION
Struggle whisk has a new career?
It's a tough economy lol
I mean, I HOPE winter doesn't end JUST like it did last year....
This recipe is easy, but not FAST. Takes 3 hours!
Tell us the truth, Frankie.
Would this work with bone-in chicken BREAST rather than thighs?
Absolutely. Breast meat dries out easily anyway so a brine will help prevent that. Works great with pork, too.
@@lukedodson3267 Thanks! I’ll give it a try.

Carrots here ar .97 a pound and onions are .80 each. The potatoes are close but you have to get the larger red potatoes for 4.12 a 5lb bag
I like starving them first so they wake up with indigestion and complain🙄🤭
What did you do with the brine? That is tons of vinegar waste if not used for something else. Sad if down the drain.
It's not safe to reuse liquid that had raw chicken in it. You could become ill from bacteria like salmonella.
FIRST!
You look so different! Is it the hair? 👀
