Tapping Etude (with Backing Track)

Here you have this Phrygian Tapping Etude in the key of G minor. I the second half of the video there’s the Backing Track for this etude in two different speeds.
Lesson:
For the right hand tapping I used the Classical Guitar way of naming the fingers: ¨M¨ for middle and ¨A¨ for ring. This information can be found below each tapped note on the tablature.
In bar 1 there are two subsequent notes tapped on different stings, to play them cleanly slightly lift your middle finger off the strings while tapping with your ring finger.
Bar 2 starts with a hammer on from nowhere on the sixth string and goes up an Eb Major7 arpeggio. The last 2 beats of this bar feature a “tap from nowhere” on the first string, to play this cleanly it is important to slightly lift your middle finger and left hand while tapping with your ring finger.
For all the tap bends in bars 3 and 4 make sure the strength to stretch the strings comes from your left hand; except for the third note of bar 3 where the left hand is changing positions so for this microbend you bend with the Middle finger of the right hand.
In bars 7 and 8 use your right pinky to hit the first string after the hammer from nowhere on the second string, making sure you’re just plucking but not tapping any notes on the fretboard (there’s another one of these pinky plucks in bar 3).
Unless the note following a tapped one happens to be on a different string, it is vital for tapping to have a good right hand “pull off” from the tap to whatever note yo’re fretting with the left hand that keeps the flow of the melody.

Para la mano derecha utilicé el método de guitarra clásica para nombrar los dedos (“M” para dedo medio y “A” para dedo anular), aunque en este caso no están atacando las cuerdas de la manera tradicional sino haciendo “Tapping”; esta información se encuentra en la parte inferior de la tablatura.
En el primer compás se presenta en dos ocasiones el patrón M A en el tap de mano derecha, sin embargo la primera vez que ocurre el dedo M toca la cuarta cuerda y el dedo A la segunda. Para tocar esto de una manera limpia es necesario levantar M cuando A presione el traste 15 de la segunda cuerda.
El segundo compás empieza en un arpegio ascendente de Mi bemol con séptima mayor que al llegar a la primera cuerda hace tap con A justo después de hacer tap con M. Aquí es importante no sólo levantar M sino también un poco la mano izquierda al momento de hacer tap con A para controlar ruidos y notas indeseadas.
Para todos los “bends” en los compases 3 y 4 la fuerza que estira las cuerdas debe venir de la mano izquierda; excepto en la tercer nota del compás 3 cuando la mano izquierda está cambiando de posición, así que para este “microbend” la fuerza proviene del dedo M.
En los compases 7 y 8 se usa el dedo meñique de la mano derecha para atacar la primera cuerda después del Do (traste 13) de la segunda cuerda. Es importante que este dedo ataque la cuerda pero que no haga tapping en ningún traste.
