David Vonderhaar lmao, honestly, just imagine ac1,2, brotherhood and revelations with the gameplay mechanics (different style of fighting for exit obviously) and graphics of ac unity.
I loved how this game showed that the Assassins are just as susceptible to corruption, arrogance, and barbarity as the Templars. After being hit over the head with the "Templars=evil, Assassins=good" stick for the past couple of games it was refreshing to see a more realistic blurring of morality and right/wrong. May the Father of Understanding guide us.
+David Cameron It's all subjective dude. I very much enjoyed Unity but I freakin' hate Rogue. It feels like Black Flag but without all the fun and only half as long. It doesn't help either that Shay is a huge moron with an incredibly stupid reason to betray the Assassins. In the end, one game is not better than the other. They hardly even compare.
+TheAphexTim shay had a reason to betray the assassins, they had sent him to a precursor site and that had caused a whole city to be destroyed, and the assassins didn't believe him, so he left
I think that would be Templars or Arno...I dnt think connor would fight with shay bcz since they both work for peace and freedom! But yes if ubisoft guve them reason to fight then This is going to be Great!! Arno could kill shay bcz he want to kill his father 's killer.....And Since templars r bad guys in other ac games so templars could betrayed and killed him...If they did then i Want A Last Shay's quotes about that!
Im gonna say it right now. This game looks absolutely fantastic. Forget everyone who said last gen owners are getting the short end of the stick. This looks amazing. And from what I've read this games campaign is roughly 20-27 hours long.
I totally agree. I would have rathered this be the next gen game with the new parkour and everything rather than unity(although that looks amazing too)
Oh, and it looks like they've been working hard on the graphics, look at the scene of Adewale at 1:20 and compare it to the scene from the assassin hunter trailer.
Me too! It also helps we're not restricted to 1 character. They came up with this large Auditore family and we were always forced to play as Ezio. No Giovanni, no Mario, no Claudia, nothing. Here we got 3 Kenways with completly different personalities and goals which is awesome. Shay is mostly a proxy for us so we could see more Haytham but he seems pretty interesting too.
It doesn't help that Ezio's story spans several games and the familiar cities get VERY boring rather quickly. I like the complication of the family line and every new person, Templar or Assassin, getting drawn in. Idk why everyone hates Connor though lol
***** I love Ezio's storyline but like you said, the Kenway storyline is very complex and it gets us thinking which is a good thing. I liked Connor especially the way he was taken into the Brotherhood.
I don't care what anyone says. This games story looks very interesting, and I loved ac 3 and black flahg was good too. I'm getting both unity and rogue, but I'm a bit sceptical moving on to another part of the world again
I'm so happy to see Haytham again, he is my most favorite character in the whole series after all. But then again, I really hoped that someday he'll get his own game. He deserves much more screen time, we found out so little about him from the 3rd game, moreover, not many people read the book. But the hope still lives :) The news about this game gracing the PC made my day.
shay is the best person I played as in these seris and I felt a sense of purpose feeling betrayed by the assassins and join the templars and we get to see a different side of the templars
GhastlyCloud 775 Yeah, he was pretty badass, personally I think he was the smartest and most intimidating character you ever play as in the Assassin's Creed world.
I don't understand why some people didn't want this. This is an awesome twist on the series and looks really awesome. We've always been on one-side of the Templar v Assassins war and now we see that the people we always thought to be good may actually be just as evil. Wish I had the money to pick this up
The thing is that they are obviously ripping off customers. They had a problem because ACUnity used a new engine which does not work on the old generation, so they thought they'd just make another game for ps3 and xbox360 which is ACRogue. Problem is that they used mininum recources and made a really shitty and probably short game ( please don't try to tell me that Ubisoft suddenly managed to pull 2 equally good games out of their asses in one year) which looks like a DLC to Black Flag if not worse just to get atleast a little money out of those people who could not afford a new console. Seriously, look at the gameplay trailer. I agree with you that the story sounds very interesting though, which makes this even more sad.
kiffe22 The game will be about 26- Hours long. The story will also be amazing, MUCH better then Unity. However of course Unity has better graphics and gameplay but the gameplay on this game isn't really that bad!
kiffe22 youre gonna eat your words so hard if it turns out to be good. ubisoft is one of the most creative developers out there, yes, they milk their franchise, but they do it very well, unlike COD. Being versatile and creative gives ubisoft good results and the sales they need to continue milking it. assassins creed or not, this game looks interesting and theyve accomplished their goal in getting those sales already.
Ralex Wushka Thank you. People are still complaining about that factor when I myself have been wanting this kind of plot since AC3 because this was showing us how the Templars think. We finally get to see the other side of the conflict and see what makes the Templars and Assassin's alike
kiffe22 There isn't much they can do. The AnvilNext engine was pushed to its limits with AC4 and it would be unfair if they to downgrade so much from the engine Unity is using. It would be Watch_Dogs all over again and Ubisoft doesn't want that to happen again
I honestly enjoyed AC: Rouge, out of all the characters Shay is one of my top five. AC: Unity was ok in my opinion, I never experienced the huge glitching problem people were talking about. The story was a little confusing at first but I caught up later on. If Unity continued on where rouge ended I think the game would've been a lot better. Having Shay being the main villain or by the time Arno is an adult Shay would be a Templar grand master. Maybe give an even clearer explanation on the Templars and their goals.
This is awesome! I think the story is more exciting than the french revolution. Aaaaand i think its great, that they use the original-graphics and dont create trailer with improved (just for the trailer) graphics
l still firmly believe this should have been Haytham's game. Why not explore the lives of characters you already have created, and you know have an interest to the public, instead of coming with new ones, whom we may or may not care about? (Connor was an example). I am glad Haytham is in the game, but I believe the franchise should offer him more.
Read Assassin's Creed: Forsaken, which, unlike the other Assassin's Creed, doesn't follow the game but instead is taken from Haytham's own journal, ostensibly passed to his son following his death. It's a pretty good read and adds some story you otherwise would have missed. (Though, incidentally, the events of Rogue don't occur in this particular novel.)
I have read the book, I found it really good for an Assassin's Creed book, and that is why I wish they'd transfer it to a game, so I could see Ubisoft's take on his story. I just think Haytham deserves his own game, is all.
1993majinvegeta Well, adapting it to a game would be a bit tricky. Obviously if Haytham's childhood is presented in near-capacity to the book, it would be flashbacks as it is mostly uneventful in the definition of not having much action or things that would translate to gameplay in any form.
ajmrowland I'd like to believe that they would start a Haytham game off from when he leaves the colonies and he speaks of his past and then they could have the lucid memory fragments like in AC3: TOKW
This looks absolutely amazing, I really can't wait to get this game I'm getting both Unity and Rogue and being honest I'm nearly more pumped for Rogue then I am for Unity!
I bet that Shay will kill Achille's son and wife just to get to him, and then Achilles kills Shay, making him the first assassin (Templar in this case) to die in his own game.
I see there is a lot of mess around You guys here, so let´s clear it a little bit, shall we? :D Contains possible *SPOILER ALERTS* (not for everyone, tho. Just for those who do not know much about the lore in the AC universe). *Facts:* *1.)* Adéwalé is old during the events of Rogue. *2.)* Adéwalé himself was *murdered* in 1758 (very high probability of Shay being the murderer). *3.)* Edward Kenway died in 1735, London (house ambush). *4.)* Achilles was born in 1710 and died in 1781. *5.)* Connor was born in 1756. *6.)* Shay was born in circa 1731. *7.)* Timeline: after Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag, and before Assassin’s Creed III. *8.)* By 1763, the Assassins were decimated to all but Achilles Davenport, during the aftermath of the French and Indian War. Due to this, the Templar Order grew more powerful and was able to capture the defeated Achilles. However, *confident (the Templars) that he (Achilles) was no longer a threat, the Templars decided to show mercy, and allowed Achilles to live if he resigned his role as an Assassin.* Following this, Achilles went into exile in the wilderness of the Frontier, residing alone at the Davenport Manor for the next six years. *9.)* Shay becoming a Templar - "Shay starts out as a young Assassin, learning the trade. Eventually he gets sent out on a mission where something goes horribly wrong. When he returns to the Colonies and confronts Achilles, he is unable to make sense of what happened. It is at this point that Shay takes it upon himself to make sure the Assassins can never repeat what he was sent to do, and thus betrays the Brotherhood." - Richard Farrese, lead writer I hope this made things clearer :)
I've completed the game!!! it does change your perspective on the assassin templar conflict. I started liking the templar way more and more. The fact that templars sometimes have a higher vision of peace than assassins whose vision of freedom often becomes dangerous. And yes, this game is shorter than the average AC game but the good thing is there's a lot of side quests and unlockables if you are into that kind of thing...btw this game does have a link to ac unity
to anyone who thinks its a DLC is dead wrong who cares if its a copy and paste it does not mean DLC its like saying revelation should be DLC to brotherhood now im a huge fan of these series and i think its a full game not an extra im paying 60$ because it is actually a story than a short DLC! so in other words refer to this word to all u haters reading this Bite me to all who agree with me thank you i think this game will be great plus i love how its in the seven years war so we know more about Edward/Achilles as well cause in ac3 there wasn't much but this seems great even if its a copy and paste its great plus just to add this in i like how its not in chronological order cause it really mixed you up in a way to figure out the story more so in conclusion THIS GAME IS AMAZING even though your a Templar.
Rioen Rayoke im just being smart ass by saying DLC. Since theres no denying that the gameplay is exactly like ac4 (im not saying thats a bad thing) But either way, I think we can all agree that 60 dollars for a last gen game is a bit to much plus the game scrapped out the multiplayer from ac4 so it shouldnt have the same price tag ac4 had. Some sort of sale seems reasonable . I would rather play rouge first then unity next, but if a sale doesnt happen, Ill just buy unity and wait untill the holidays for rouge to go on sale. Ubisoft is pretty stupid to release both of their games on the same day so they compete against each other. Rouge should of came out right now imo.
InfernoxRatchet idk if haythem will care he always seemed to be cut off from emotions and ties like that i mean his interaction with connor his son didnt suggest he put much stock in the family ties
This game is gonna be a Templar paradise! I'm so excited to finally play from the Templars point of view, I being a Templar myself. This game is gonna be AMAZING
Spoiler alert If you remember in ac3 achiles shows connor the picture of templers .. Everyone except shay it means shay will die in ac rogue but he kills achiles's wife and achiles will kill shay and leave the brotherhood and head to homestead to bury the assassin outfit ... THE END :D
Yeah, that makes a LOT of sense. Shay screams at Achilles for being made to slaughter innocents. Then he goes out and slaughters more innocents. *facepalms*
ragemishima No, he was an ASSASSIN at that time. It was Achilles fault that Shay got to do this! Shay left the order, that's when the assassins tried to kill him! Templars aided Shay, later he thought about the orders and felt that the Templar order makes actually sense, so he is an changed man!
NO LONGER ACTIVE No. Not even close. If my memory serves me right, The Templars completely slaughter the assassins in North America. But for some reason, they let Achelies live at peace in his homestead. Then Connor comes along, gets training, and starts to rebuild the Brotherhood slowly but surely.
He can't. He literally can't. The animus works as that the Genes of said person you want to relive the memories of, are passed on to the next of kin, you can't relive them anymore. That's why they couldn't let you play as Haytham cause he did the deed with Zio and produce Connor. He could die, but we won't get to see him die.
I bought Assassin's Creed: Rogue for my son's birthday. He was really looking forward to playing it. He is very disappointed that the DLC has not worked since launch. He has noted several other bugs and glitches in the game. He has called Ubisoft and PSN several times and no one has come up with a resolution. Worse than that an Ubisoft representative assured him he could resolve the issue if he deleted his game, the DLC, and his saved games (30+ hours of gameplay). After following these directions (per the Ubisoft rep) the issues still exist. Every one of the SEVEN! calls to Ubisoft has resulted in being forced to start a new game, spending the next two hours trying to confirm whether or not their "fix" actually worked. Ubisoft's method of using their customers as guinea pigs to test theories of resolution is not acceptable by any means.
IMO the gameplay and open world activities of Unity look better but it's story looks meh , I love this story tho even if it is an ac4 re skin , story looks worth a buy alone but that's just me , being an assassin for so long a story of betrayal and redemption as a Templar seems refreshing, looks like a good way to end the saga of that era :) can't wait
No, it's not that simple. Imagine if you weir out on a mission weir you assassin comrades have prepared for you to finish, and you end up killing MANY innocent people, if i was Shay i would screamed louder and more angrier at Achilles and Adewale! Shay later left the order, he didn't join later the templars! they assassin tried to kill him so now he has lost control and want's revenge. Plus he believs now in the ways of the templar!
It's not so much that he wants to kill all Assassins; he wants to kill Achilles (who's apparently high ranked), but the other Assassins are defending him so Shay must go through them all. Shay changed because he saw deep corruption in his order.
I will admit though, that the line that once separated the good and the evil has blurred in the AC storyline. I will have to wait and see what happens in this game. I just found it a little funny that he has a vendetta against person who killed innocent people, so, he starts to work with people who also kill innocent people.
He was born in 1756. His village was burnt down in 1761, on Connor's story trailer he said he was 5 when it happened so we'll probably see him as a kid.
We were freeroaming the West Indies at the end of AC 4 even though Edward returned to Britain. Also it's easier to kill him off at the end than to explain why he isn't mentioned even once in AC 3
This is AMAZING, I AM MORE HYPED FOR ROGUE THAN FOR UNITY. Haytham is back and looks badass as always and compared to Unity's story trailer, this one feels better!! I'm not judging Unity but it's like I know Rogue is gonna be Amazing.
Guys did anyone notice adewale and Achilles they were wearing the same outfit like adewale was wearing his freedom cry outfit and Achilles was wearing the homestead outfit
The Assassins and the Templars are not black and white. It's all shades of grey. Each side has good aspects, but also bad ones. I hope you reconsider, as this might change your viewpoint of the whole ordeal.
WRFM PaRaDoX regardless of it being a game, it's easy to get emotionally attached to characters. For the record it's gonna be hard for me to kill Adewale too since he was so cool in Black Flag. And I played as him for Christ sake
this is what i gathered from the trailer: shay was an assassin in training, probably with high hopes and probably close to becoming master. one day adewale now a mentor comes along and assigns the new american branch of assassins on a mission. somehow some innocent lives were killed which is not new to some assassins because in revelations, when altair was banished the order became corrupted, killing innocent people and same game ezio killed people in cappodocia in the explosion. the assassins probably dropped the first tennant or the order brushed it aside as casualties, but shay took it hard. and so shay went rogue and vows to kill all the assassins involved. achilles at some point becomes mentor and so he has to be hunted too but all the assassins will protect him with their lives leading to the extermination of the order.
***** Montreal is a city near Paris. I could see why you'd think that though. lol most big Canadian and American cities are named after European cities.
jarebare555 hahaha Montreal in Paris! So you have no idea about geography and I'm guessing you didn't play ac 4 as the modern day was set at Ubisofts studio in Canada
Montreal... In Paris. As someone who lives in France, this makes me laugh about as much as the time some news channel from the USA had a map which put Cannes at the top north of the country. Not at all.
(Fariko) Ace of Games I think he'll see sense or find out the templars are using him or something. He'll kill john de la tour though. And his friend from this trailer. If I remember right, Achilles said the templars left him alive but made him give up his role as an assassin
Okay I know this will go unnoticed but I just want to say that...... there so much potential of Assassins Creed being set in the PHILIPPINES! And I am not saying this because I'm biased and I'm from the Philippines, but because there are so much lore and rich culture in this country. You can read or Google it if you're interested. But here at the main points why I think this time period has a huge potential: 1. The Philippines is a country where other cultures and beliefs meet. Its basically like the bridge of a few big cultures. 2. It is colonized by Spainiards by 1900's (Ezio/Borgia piece of eden storyline connection) 3. And also because the Philippines has middle eastern/arabic influences. Specifically in the part of Mindanao Region (Altair Ibn la' Ahad piece of eden storyline connection, you can basically have the Creed in there) 4. By later on the Americans help the Katipuneros(Revolutionaries) for defeating the Spain invaders (possible storyline connection to Connor Kenway) 5. It is colonized by the Japanese (possibility Oriental themed locations/levels) 6. It is where Chinese and Japanese traders and barters go for business (So basically they can add some oriental essence to the franchise without leaving its roots) 7. There are many huge landmark churches and buildings in the Phil. (ex. Cebu churches, Intramuros, Vigan.... you can search for them if you want) 8. In terms of combat the Philippines have a ton of traditional iconic weapons(Kris, Balisong, Sumpak) and a fully functional martial arts discipline (Eskrima/ Visayan Kali) 9. And there are many many pivotal events and historical figures to interact with. (ex, Jose Rizal, Emilio Aguinaldo, Pasong Tirad Battle, Fall of Biak na Bato etc.) soorry for the complex terms and words but i am sure you guys know what i mean. An AC game that is rich, exotic and authentic atmosphere without leaving the main core pillars of the franchise.! Please UBISOFT! IF YOU ARE READING THIS! PLEASE CONSIDER THE POSSIBILITY! please give this comment a thumbs up for them to see!
They really should make a game that takes place in Portugal. So much Templar history. It was a safe haven after their eradication by the French king & Pope. Convento de Cristo in Tomar alone deserves its own map. I was there last year and can say that it is one of the most beautiful buildings i've ever seen in my life. Lisbon would be great as it was a naval superpower during the age of exploration. A truly wealthy nation during that age, Portugal would make a wonderful setting for an AC game.
+Connor Mac unlikely as news of that would travel quickly and I would hear about it. I live in a tight-nit Portuguese community here in the U.S that knows everything that goes on there. But hey, we can only hope.
Brendan Sutton It's about an an Assassin recruit who does a mission, something goes horribly wrong, and that motivates him to kill the entire Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins to protect people.
This doesn't look like lighter skin to me... facebook.com/AccessTheAnimus/photos/a.534751323292448.1073741964.340276136073302/563165713784342/?type=1&relevant_count=1
Imagine Rogue with Unity's graphics and co-op hunting Assassins with your friends
I know it would have been awesome
David Vonderhaar lmao, honestly, just imagine ac1,2, brotherhood and revelations with the gameplay mechanics (different style of fighting for exit obviously) and graphics of ac unity.
And it's parkour and maybe naval combat could've been epic
You lost me at co-op
@@jackparello4286 no friends?

Fuck the father of understanding m8
indeed hopefully we'll get another one like it in the future, preferably longer though
nothing is true after all but all truth is permitted
Except for the Ezio trilogy, the other main games really do well showing a gray story instead of a black/white one
Mr_Meng couldn’t have said it better myself
XD Honest trailer narrator, IS THAT YOU?
I was thinking the same thing!!
I've played both games
Rogue is better than Unity
trust me

Can they please make another game like this? We need to play as the Templars more!
Fernando Poe. Jr
Bitch
+Darth Yanvarya Fucking Illuminati!
no WTF the assassin's are the best
+Snjay Gramajo hold up look at the name and person your arguing with
One of the best AC games ever! Not as big and spacious as Black Flag but the story was phenomenal!
Is it just me or does anyone find it embarrassing that the last fen AC was better than next gen AC! Lol Rogue was great!
So? I still buy it ^^
Haha I was just joking bro
I just want a ac with modern day and a protagonist in the modern day.
AC 1 2 BROTHERHOOD REVELATIONS 3 BLACK FLAG ROGUE HAD A MODERN DAY UNITYS MODERN DAY SUCKED ASS I MEAN THAT KIND OF MODERN DAY
They said that the modern day will return in Syndicate
0:35 It was at this moment that Achilles knew, he fucked up!
Happy Shqiptar Hello shqip xd
Shay needs another game. And so does Connor
I actually enjoy the Kenway saga more than Ezio's

ThePreciseClimber Exactly. The Kenway storyline is very open to explore in terms of the people they associate with as well. We got to play as Adewale.
***** I love Ezio's storyline but like you said, the Kenway storyline is very complex and it gets us thinking which is a good thing. I liked Connor especially the way he was taken into the Brotherhood.
chuk marcum That is your opinion. I like the Kenways.
Personally I'm more interested in this story then Unity
I don't care about the story I care about shay killing all these assassins
It's funny because Unity didn't have a story. It was forgettable whereas Rogue was not. For me, at least.
i loved this game. plus adewale being in it? awesome
too bad u have to kill him in the story
M3RK TH3 OUTLAW thanks a lot for the fucking spoiler m8
it is sad adn yeah spoiler bro
This should have been the next gen title, not unity, I found this game way more immersive then unity
Indeed.I honestly hated unity.i had to take medicine like every 5 seconds just to stay alive!do you realize how annoying that was?
I don't care what anyone says. This games story looks very interesting, and I loved ac 3 and black flahg was good too. I'm getting both unity and rogue, but I'm a bit sceptical moving on to another part of the world again

Oh look another fat troll on the Internet.
As if anyone was really expecting corners to remain uncut in a game that was made on the cheap.
shay is the best person I played as in these seris and I felt a sense of purpose feeling betrayed by the assassins and join the templars and we get to see a different side of the templars
You literally could have just made this trailer, "Haytham is in the game" and I would have been content.
Amen!!!
Վիգեն Ապասյան Finally someone else who read the book and thought Haytham was a badass
GhastlyCloud 775 Yeah, he was pretty badass, personally I think he was the smartest and most intimidating character you ever play as in the Assassin's Creed world.

Have you seen any gameplay of unity??? If so someone is jealous of next gen!
It's only six sequences, meaning it's a short fucking story... Unity is miles better.
Etano Cacciatore they are long sequences, and the game takes place from 1752-1761 so not including Unity it is longer than all but 2 ac games
Etano Cacciatore In fiction, quality over quantity
1rebelboy It's quality is still not good at all. The story is far too predictable, and rehashing IV's engine makes it even worse.
Rogue was very amazing and fun to play. I absolutely loved it!! ^-^
1:05 one of the most badass lines in the AC franchise
It says it's exclusively for consoles but at 1:54 there's a PC cover. Lol. Probably HD Edition like Liberation.
It says it's coming out early 2015 for PC
guess you are only wearing the glasses for fun/image ;)

Obviously if Haytham's childhood is presented in near-capacity to the book, it would be flashbacks as it is mostly uneventful in the definition of not having much action or things that would translate to gameplay in any form.
ajmrowland I'd like to believe that they would start a Haytham game off from when he leaves the colonies and he speaks of his past and then they could have the lucid memory fragments like in AC3: TOKW
juan sanchez It would also serve to flesh out his half-sister, Jenny. We see her at the end of Black Flag, and her life is so much harder since.
Best assassins creed really loved it
This looks absolutely amazing, I really can't wait to get this game I'm getting both Unity and Rogue and being honest I'm nearly more pumped for Rogue then I am for Unity!
Shay Cormac feels like the most real character I've ever played as in AC. It was interesting seeing his inner conflict throughout the game.
I bet that Shay will kill Achille's son and wife just to get to him, and then Achilles kills Shay, making him the first assassin (Templar in this case) to die in his own game.
thomas brady nothing is true everything is permitted
the music on the menu it's beautiful on this game
Seriously ? I hated it so much i took off my headphones when i was going trough the menu..
im not soprimese
Makes me want to be a Templar more than an Assassin
Whats the music after Shay said "I will kill every last man who defends him if i must".
??
David and goliath- extended version
David and the Goliath
I might actually get it now, at least the outfits look pretty awesome.
Also, is that Jon Bailey from Honest Trailers?
yep
Thought i was the only one noticing it :D
iCroissant It Is Him!
I see there is a lot of mess around You guys here, so let´s clear it a little bit, shall we? :D
Contains possible *SPOILER ALERTS* (not for everyone, tho. Just for those who do not know much about the lore in the AC universe).
*Facts:*
*1.)* Adéwalé is old during the events of Rogue.
It is at this point that Shay takes it upon himself to make sure the Assassins can never repeat what he was sent to do, and thus betrays the Brotherhood." - Richard Farrese, lead writer
I hope this made things clearer :)
is the voice actor at the end from Honest trailers?!??!?!?!?!
It is!!! LMAOO
Rick Hasslehoff
More Haytham? I'm sold. Guy didn't get enough screentime in ACIII. Coolest character in the series by far.
Such a great game, way better than Unity. BTW was that the Honest Trailers guy at the end?
Yes it is
Actually, Unity was better.
Teo Ruffo Whatever dude,it's your opinion.
@@teoruffo4833 good joke 👍
The narrator at the end of the Assassin's Creed Rogue trailers is definitely the Honest Trailer Voice Guy, John.
Story wise so far, AC Rogue seems more intriguing to me.
OMFG SHAY IS THE DARTH VADER OF ASSASSINS CREED
This guy is badass he killed every single assassin exept Achillies
to anyone who thinks its a DLC is dead wrong who cares if its a copy and paste it does not mean DLC its like saying revelation should be DLC to brotherhood now im a huge fan of these series and i think its a full game not an extra im paying 60$ because it is actually a story than a short DLC! so in other words refer to this word to all u haters reading this
Bite me
to all who agree with me thank you i think this game will be great plus i love how its in the seven years war so we know more about Edward/Achilles as well cause in ac3 there wasn't much but this seems great even if its a copy and paste its great plus just to add this in i like how its not in chronological order cause it really mixed you up in a way to figure out the story more so in conclusion
THIS GAME IS AMAZING even though your a Templar.
I must destroy those who I once called 'brothers'.
I will kill every last man who defends him if I must 😌
GMA News
I like trains
How about giveing me a discount if I buy both unity and rouge becuase theres no way im paying the full 60 $ for dlc.
It's not a goddamn dlc, for one thing it's map size is bigger than all other games. Please stop calling it a dlc.
how the hell is it dlc
Rioen Rayoke im just being smart ass by saying DLC. Since theres no denying that the gameplay is exactly like ac4 (im not saying thats a bad thing)
But either way, I think we can all agree that 60 dollars for a last gen game is a bit to much plus the game scrapped out the multiplayer from ac4 so it shouldnt have the same price tag ac4 had.
Mr. Popo Technically it would be unfair to call it DLC, since Brotherhood and Revelations are just straight copy and paste..
ShenWooXIII
Ac Rogue is way more of a copy-paste job than Revelations was...
When I saw Haytham Kenway I knew I had to buy this game
I wonder if Adéwalé will meet Haytham and mention about Edward his father.
That will bring some water works.
Oshawattlover345 IGN and Gamespot are always retarded when it comes to reviews lol. That and they get bribed often
Spoiler alert
If you remember in ac3 achiles shows connor the picture of templers .. Everyone except shay it means shay will die in ac rogue but he kills achiles's wife and achiles will kill shay and leave the brotherhood and head to homestead to bury the assassin outfit ... THE END :D
Shay won't die, because you wouldn't be able to free roam after the game, and they won't take that out.
Fizzy332 You COMPLETELY misunderstood what I was even saying in my comment. Whatever.
ragemishima Could you then motivate your comment so that i may understand!
I'm loving the story line! Revenge at its darkest.
I have a feeling that at the end Shay gets killed by the Templars or the Assassins
Im sure Achilles puts him down
I don't think Adewale will make it either.
Grandtheflazlow39 that has nothing to do with how Shay dies though. Achilles very well could be the one to kill him before he gets his peace
He can't. He literally can't. The animus works as that the Genes of said person you want to relive the memories of, are passed on to the next of kin, you can't relive them anymore. That's why they couldn't let you play as Haytham cause he did the deed with Zio and produce Connor. He could die, but we won't get to see him die.
Achilles is rocking the stache.
So wait, I saw Kenway and adawale. So this takes place after assassins creed black flag, and before assassins creed 3? Or after ac3. I'm confused haha
you must have the IQ of a goldfish
You have the assassin emblem as your profile pic but you can't even figure out a simple timeline
It takes place right after Haytham's missions end in AC3.
Before AC3 and after AC4. Shay killed all the Assassin's in North America except Achilles which is why Connor had to rebuild the Creed.
it's after BF and before ACIII
Make history on any console. Except the Wii U.
This is the first game for me as a gamer .
Very thanks Ubisoft for this Master piece .
Keep going
idk about you all but I'm going to enjoy both Unity and rogue
Nov 11 is going to be awesome
This game needs to be Remastered for PS4,Xbox One S, PS4 Pro, and Scorpio
Would've been better if you gave shay a new fucking fighting style. Or at least give him new moves to dish out on his opponents.
He does have new moves. They have shown a couple in some of the gameplays, just doesnt show in the trailers
PC?!?!? Oh my gosh, this made my day! And to see Haytham again aahhhh i'm so happy!
The ending to the game better have somrthing to do with connor
I know I just want some closure to connor story and they have been hanging around too much the kenway saga
This in my opinion is the best story trailer of any AC yet!
Ok. Any and all doubts I had about this game being lazy and just a DLC are now gone.
Shay goes all Darth Vader on the assassins.
Shay's logic, "I saw Assassins kill innocent people, they are out of control!"
I just found it a little funny that he has a vendetta against person who killed innocent people, so, he starts to work with people who also kill innocent people.
hopefully more connor
Jobs .com Doesn't mean we won't see him skipping many years later at the end!
He was born in 1756. His village was burnt down in 1761, on Connor's story trailer he said he was 5 when it happened so we'll probably see him as a kid.
why, connor sucked
coronagalvez19 That's your opinion. A lot of people liked him.
coronagalvez19 i liked him. loved the bow, knife/tomahawk thing. plus his story was cool
Shay needed a hood with his Templar outfit to make him look cooler
the protagonist dies in the end
You just made my day ty
No shit? ;)
He won't. we are going to free roam at the end at some fucking point.
We were freeroaming the West Indies at the end of AC 4 even though Edward returned to Britain. Also it's easier to kill him off at the end than to explain why he isn't mentioned even once in AC 3
Obviously if we don't see or hear about him in Ac3
This is AMAZING, I AM MORE HYPED FOR ROGUE THAN FOR UNITY. Haytham is back and looks badass as always and compared to Unity's story trailer, this one feels better!! I'm not judging Unity but it's like I know Rogue is gonna be Amazing.
I make my own luck
Guys did anyone notice adewale and Achilles they were wearing the same outfit like adewale was wearing his freedom cry outfit and Achilles was wearing the homestead outfit
More interested in Rogue's story that Unity's
More interesting in everything else about Unity than Rogue
hm
me too!!
Seems like a common response. lol
It's because Rogue has familiar characters and we get some backstory for Achilles (probably my favorite character from AC3) and more story for Adewale
People if you are really AC fans you have to like both!!!
If you like only one you are not a real fan!!
I will not play this game, I will not hunt assassins and I will not kill adawale
The Assassins and the Templars are not black and white. It's all shades of grey. Each side has good aspects, but also bad ones. I hope you reconsider, as this might change your viewpoint of the whole ordeal.
Mate, it's a fucking game? Did your moral compass steer you from playing GTA I wonder? Get a grip man. You'll enjoy it.
WRFM PaRaDoX regardless of it being a game, it's easy to get emotionally attached to characters. For the record it's gonna be hard for me to kill Adewale too since he was so cool in Black Flag. And I played as him for Christ sake
Assassins=democracy
Templars= communism
Hawkeye Assassins are anarchist
this is what i gathered from the trailer:
shay was an assassin in training, probably with high hopes and probably close to becoming master. one day adewale now a mentor comes along and assigns the new american branch of assassins on a mission. somehow some innocent lives were killed which is not new to some assassins because in revelations, when altair was banished the order became corrupted, killing innocent people and same game ezio killed people in cappodocia in the explosion. the assassins probably dropped the first tennant or the order brushed it aside as casualties, but shay took it hard. and so shay went rogue and vows to kill all the assassins involved. achilles at some point becomes mentor and so he has to be hunted too but all the assassins will protect him with their lives leading to the extermination of the order.
Unity looks better
Obviously because Unity's for next gen and Rogue's for last gen...
Not because of graphics, because of gameplay
Oh.
Jake Woronoff
How about story? :) It looks pretty damn good
Hydro_Gaming
Ships ain't cool anymore
Is it just me or the voice in the end is the guy from honest game trailers? xD
Why can't Americans ever use real Irish actors?
***** They are French... why would you think they are Canadian? lol
Not at all.
gilless429 I guess he thinks France is the only place where people speak French
That guy at the end does the voice for honest trailers hahaha
He fails
Even though the brotherhood is gone in AC 3, which takes place after this game.
Actually ac3 is proof he succeeded.
No he succeeded cause Achilles was the only Assassin left by the time Connor got to him
Rottz112 yeah he succeeded but probably got killed by Achilles eventually
(Fariko) Ace of Games I think he'll see sense or find out the templars are using him or something. He'll kill john de la tour though. And his friend from this trailer. If I remember right, Achilles said the templars left him alive but made him give up his role as an assassin
this is the most underrated ac game. Ironically, it's one of my favourites
Honest Trailer Dude
haha i love how the narrator is the guy from honest trailers.
Jajajaja yeah I had the same thought
Okay I know this will go unnoticed but I just want to say that...... there so much potential of Assassins Creed being set in the PHILIPPINES!
And I am not saying this because I'm biased and I'm from the Philippines, but because there are so much lore and rich culture in this country.
You can read or Google it if you're interested. But here at the main points why I think this time period has a huge potential:
1. The Philippines is a country where other cultures and beliefs meet. Its basically like the bridge of a few big cultures.
2. It is colonized by Spainiards by 1900's (Ezio/Borgia piece of eden storyline connection)
3. And also because the Philippines has middle eastern/arabic influences. Specifically in the part of Mindanao Region (Altair Ibn la' Ahad piece of eden storyline connection, you can basically have the Creed in there)
4. By later on the Americans help the Katipuneros(Revolutionaries) for defeating the Spain invaders (possible storyline connection to Connor Kenway)
5. It is colonized by the Japanese (possibility Oriental themed locations/levels)
6. It is where Chinese and Japanese traders and barters go for business (So basically they can add some oriental essence to the franchise without leaving its roots)
7. There are many huge landmark churches and buildings in the Phil. (ex. Cebu churches, Intramuros, Vigan.... you can search for them if you want)
8. In terms of combat the Philippines have a ton of traditional iconic weapons(Kris, Balisong, Sumpak) and a fully functional martial arts discipline (Eskrima/ Visayan Kali)
9. And there are many many pivotal events and historical figures to interact with. (ex, Jose Rizal, Emilio Aguinaldo, Pasong Tirad Battle, Fall of Biak na Bato etc.)
soorry for the complex terms and words but i am sure you guys know what i mean.
Its like Star Wars episode 3 with a bit of Red Dead Redemption. One guy looks like John Marston lol
+ApexIXMR The upcoming AC movie is set in Spain tho. Probly there is gonna be some part involving Portugal
+Connor Mac unlikely as news of that would travel quickly and I would hear about it. I live in a tight-nit Portuguese community here in the U.S that knows everything that goes on there. But hey, we can only hope.
Just gonna day one thing....REMASTER THIS AMAZING GAME FOR NEXT GEN
Brendan Sutton It's about an an Assassin recruit who does a mission, something goes horribly wrong, and that motivates him to kill the entire Colonial Brotherhood of Assassins to protect people.
Ahh the memories
I just know this game is gonna be pretty solid. And PC players got their requests!
That voice at the end.. is that who I think it is?
00:49 dat punch.......
1:27 is Achillies, the future mentor of Connor in ACIII :)
Achilles voice actor spuds like the guy who played Barty Crouch in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
That wasnt Achilles
Justin DeRoo-Kent That was Achilles -_-
Slow Winter Nuts no, it wasnt, look closely, the guys skin is lighter, his facial structure is different, oh and his voice is way different as well
Slow Winter Nuts oh, and pause at 0:39 without his hood, definitely not him
This doesn't look like lighter skin to me... facebook.com/AccessTheAnimus/photos/a.534751323292448.1073741964.340276136073302/563165713784342/?type=1&relevant_count=1
1:00 "Achillies wants you dead" we might see the younger assassin Achillies Davenport!!!
1:27 That was Achillies! :D
surprisingly haytham from ac3 is reborn and the guy behind the voice ;) well done Ubisoft™ :)
I think it would have been a better idea to use this story for the new gen consoles and use ac unity for the old gen. This story looks amazing.
