Our Lady of Good Success Novena- Day 1˗ˏˋ ✞ ˎˊ˗

This 𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗲-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗮˗ˏˋ ✞ ˎˊ˗ has a start date of either January 24 or 25. And should end on the Feast of Our Lady of Good Success, which is February 2, also the Feast of the Purification of Mary and The Presentation of Our Lord in The Temple , or Candlemas The Blessed Virgin Mary and Jesus appeared in 1594 (some say 1610, so it is debatable as to the exact date) to Venerable Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres in Quito, Ecuador, giving prophecies of a coming crisis in the Church and of several infallible papal dogmatic decrees. Fully approved by the Church, this Marian apparition contains an immensely important and hopeful message for our troubled times. 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗱𝗲 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗻𝘂𝗻 who belonged to the Convent of the Immaculate Conception in Quito, Ecuador. Our Lady requested a statue be made of her as she appeared to Mother Mariana: holding the infant Jesus in her left arm and a crozier and keys in her right hand.
The presence of the Divine Infant was to remind people how powerful Mary is in bringing people to her son-“To Jesus, through Mary.” The keys and crozier were to symbolize Mary’s role as true and perpetual abbess of the convent. Even more miraculous, is that the person commissioned to make the statue;
" made by a man of God, Francisco del Castillo," said 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹❟ 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹❟ 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹｡ “When Francisco went to continue his work, he saw the outer layer of his carving lying on the floor. Filled with a special admiration, he gave his assurance in a sworn, written statement that the statue’s features were not the way he had left them the previous afternoon. He added that he dared not touch the holy statue, not even to kiss it, because he considered himself unworthy of this work of the angels, which was no longer his own."
