This was really good! Usually when I watch performances of hard songs without many views I end up clicking off but this was definitely deserving of the full watch. Keep up the hard work and practice!
It's a 'piece' - a piece of music. It is not a 'song'. That decision by apple executives to simplify for business reasons should not determine how you use language
Thank you! There’s a long way to go for this piece for anyone! The true importance of this piece is the maturity required for this, which I also still have a very long way to go.
You played very well, feels like we may see you playing in Chopin Piano Competition one day. Can I ask what recording do you usually listen to on this ballade?
Thanks for the wonderful comment, the Chopin Competition has been my dream since I was little! For this piece, I listened to the recording of Zimmerman and Rubinstein a lot. I believe Rubinstein’s recording best represents the simplicity necessary for this piece, which a lot of performances unfortunately seem to lack. But I think I haven’t listen to much recordings of this piece recently, since my teacher told me to not over listen to other people’s performances after a certain point, and I believe that has helped me look at the sheet music and do what Chopin wants, along with developing my own interpretations on things Chopin has given freedom to. Again, thanks for listening!
@@HarukiTakeuchiPiano Thank you for your response. I also enjoy listening to Rubinstein's recording, and I completely agree that simplicity is key in this piece. When comparing it to other renditions, I sometimes find the first theme to be a bit draggy, but your recording didn't give me that impression at all. Following your teacher's advice is definitely paying off. Although I'm not a professional, it seems that you capture the essence of Chopin's music quite well. As for myself, I'm a 23-year-old who has already let go of my childhood dream and now works tirelessly day and night at a local firm. It genuinely brings me joy to see young individuals like you who have the talent and dedication to pursue their dreams. I sincerely wish you all the best, and please know that we will support you on your journey!
@@HarukiTakeuchiPianoWell, well, well. The Chopin Competition is also my dream too!!! Hey, I may even be vs-ing you too!!! If you want I will send you an email of what you should prepare to be able to win the competition!!!
Hey man, I am usually very critcal about pieces like this when I watch others play them but you naiiled it! Wonderful performance, with perfect tension and amazing pedaling, you wait where you need to to assert some pressure, you play it hard where it needs to be hard, I cannot put a single bad word on this. Amazing! I wonder how much you practiced?
Thank you for listening! I first worked on this piece about 3 years ago, and then after letting it sit for 3 years, I decided to rework it again, and I think the 3 years of letting it sit was something that affected this piece very positively. I am glad you enjoyed my performance!
@@tommyjames4881 For this recording, I once learnt this piece when I was around 15, and then relearned it again maybe for 2 months. Thank you for listening!

Yes full watch, so inspireing, so musically mature, as I'm feeling that the master Chopin is performing, I'm so humble, you're a great artist

This sounds fantastic!! I would love to finally learn this ballade in the next few years.. How long did you work on the piece up until this recording?

Well done! Your piano certainly packs a punch - what is it?!

I play piano to, but not that good lol.
Excelente!! Se parece mucho a la interpretación de Yulianna Avdeeva, mi favorita de esta balada.
Su actuación es incleible.
amazing!
Thank you

Danke!
i would kill for that accuracy at 9:20 😭 currently trying out ballade no 1 and my smaller stature makes it so hard to be accurate
Thanks for listening that far into the piece!
I hope the best of luck with the first ballade, it’s a difficult challenge and a masterpiece!

Thank you. The piano is YAMAHA C5.
良い演奏ですね。ショパンコンクールを目指して頑張って下さい。
ありがとうございます。
Niemand kann besser spielen dieses Chopin stück
Damn, it's a bit like Zimerman's performance. A little more work and it will be at the same level!!!
Thanks!
I love Zimmerman’s interpretation and performance!
Getting near his level would take another century for me lol
