Get it in contact with suppliers and make a good conversation. Ask questions and make them think your going to buy. You have to create a listing on Amazon first before you can ship it to them. Use information from your supplier to make the listing and once the listing is complete you have to create a shipment plan

I'm currently stuck between shipping the products myself as the merchant or going the FBA route. Just not sure how much leg work there is shipping products on your own vs paying for FBA and what the pros and cons are.

Hi I got verified today and can now access seller central. My plan is to invest in inventory. But Before this I will do some research and familiarise myself with the process. One thing I don’t get, Lets say I want to drop ship a product from Ali express just to learn the whole process, I thought there would be an intermediate software that would do the buy and shipping address between Ali and Amazon. Shopify and Ali Express do this via Oberlo, Is there no such software for Amazon. Surly can’t be a manual process for like a 3 dollar profit
What do you suggest for launch & release dates if this is a product being manufactured and currently on order? Do we wait to make the listing when its in the hands of amazon (FBA)? or can that date be changed when its ready to ship?

Do you need to wait for the items to arrive in amazon warehouse before you add a list or you can add list product on amazon even your product is not yet on the warehouse? Sorry my question is kinda confusing. xD

Yes, you need to list your product in order to create a shipment plan which is required to ship directly to Amazon.
