It was being blasted out of everyone's car, stoop, fire escape, apartment, etc. Being from the Bronx we had so much pride when Big Pun was popping 1998-2000. Queens and Brooklyn dominated rap (commercially) for years and although the Bronx had rapper's we didn't have a star like BK had Biggie when he was alive. Lord Tariq & Peter Gunz kicked it off with "Deja Vu" then Pun hit it was a wrap
