Don't know if they want to hunt when they're older, but I want them to know how to use one either way.

Those girls are awesome shooters! Keep up their practicing. Nice the blueberries are bouncing back. We have a poor year here on the north side of the mountains. Enjoy the harvest

ok I am going to need you to tell all the kids to stop getting bigger because it is making me feel old watching them get so grown up like that even little Bo is already walking and talking already 😂

Watching them all sprout up so quick definitely makes us feel old as well! It's a blast being able to work at home and spend more time with them.

Good Morning 🌄. I would love to try watermelon berries. I never heard of them before watching Alaska shows.

    • @schmelen1

Me too , i wanna try some of those too. I got some Salmonberry jam while i was in Juneau last month and it was scrumptious. JDWnSF

Watermelon berry comes from a plant called Twisted Stalk. The stem, leaves and berry seeds all taste like cucumber. When the berry is very ripe it tastes like sugar water kinda like Watermelon. The caribou, and bear love the whole plant!

Salmonberries are scrumptious!! I wish we had them around here. We did them down by Girdwood and Seward.

@@BRAMANTEBROTHERS Thanks for the reply! Just trying to find a job that pays well enough to make the move! Cost of living up there is pretty crazy, and I guess most places don't realize that.. Haha.. It'd be hard to survive on less that what I'm at now which is $41.69/hr.. LOL

Good morning everyone!! It was really nice seeing one of my favorite RUclips families ❤️ I'm really happy for all of the berries popping up this year. Besides canning them, do you freeze or dry any for winter?
The girls did a FANTASTIC job with their shooting. Very I'm impressed! I look forward to when your season slows down so we can see more of you all. That being said, I am more happy for you that business was great this tourist season.
    See you soon 😁

    • @BRAMANTEBROTHERS

We never used to have freezer space, so we canned everything. We may freeze some, but not sure yet. Canned jams and syrups are so versatile. Frozen would be mostly for protein shakes and pies.

Kids grow up so quick and Bo is growin like a weed. I think thats awesome that Zac is teaching the girls to shoot. Perfect starter gun choice too. Looks like they're a natural sharpshooter.
That granola looked Delish , made me wanna look up recipes. I think Alyssa should do a how to make granola video segment soon. Have a great week from SF. ✌

Excellent! Good job girls at shooting. Can't wait for your berry video. Glad you have a good crop. Is there any folk tale about a good berry crop means a longer harder winter???

    • @BRAMANTEBROTHERS
      @BRAMANTEBROTHERS  2 года назад

Not sure about any folk tales, or almanac predictions, but we always get hard winters 😆 we're just glad to be putting up berries, and some vegetables.

What kind of fish are in your lake? I noticed you dont ice fish much on the lake. I was thinking it would be a great food source. A good one at that.

Crazy as it sounds, sometimes recording date and upload date are actually on different days. Not sure if you've ever watched another one of our episodes, but thanks for stopping by. Some episodes are like "a day in the life" while others can be a bunch of clips throughout the weeks.
