You didn’t feel any dizziness or feel uncomfortable at takeoff because your plane didn’t rise to higher altitudes. The discomfort that you feel is as a result of the sharp difference in pressure in the airplane and outside when you takeoff. The higher and faster you go, the more discomfort you feel. When the plane reaches its target altitude, the pressure in the cabin is adjusted and the discomfort goes away. Same procedure during landing. Sharp descent, leads to a pressure in balance and discomfort. A trip from Douala to Bafoussam is a very short trip and there is no need to fly at those very high altitudes. It will feel like a 20mins flight
