Seabirds feasting on flying ants

From time to time I saw these flying seabirds in massive swarm eating on flying insects and I wondered what type of insects they might be feeding on. One day I noticed the flying ants coming out of the ground in my garden, and above in the sky the flying seabirds and it made me wonder whether the seabirds are feasting on the flying ants.
