    It totally made sense when you made the analogy of curling a ribbon. That is amazing!
    As I Am makes really good products.
    Do you get a lot of hair loss when brushing?
    Great explanation and demonstration.
    Your hair looks really good!

      Hi Julia! Thank you so much! No, I do not experience hair loss when I do this. The As I am shampoo is a detangler. My hair feels like it has conditioner in it.

    Hey, I always brush my hair when I wash it but I never thought about it helping form my curl pattern. I was just doing it to work the product through my hair before my final rinse. My hair loves the As I Am products. I think I’ve used the entire line but my fav is the JBCO. I make sure I have the cowash, leave-in and water on hand at all times. Oh and the JBCO water I definitely keep a stock of it because I use it to moisture before I manipulate it in any manner to help avoid breakage. This is me 👀 when I get a notification that the beauty supply has those products on sale for 4 for $20😂 My order for the water came yesterday🤣 Thank you for sharing your technique💜🌹 I never wear a wash and go because I couldn’t figure out how to maintain my curl pattern but I might give it a try after seeing this.

      Brushing your hair won't help form a curl pattern , her hair looks like that because that's just how her curls look lol

    Hi Rachel😊, How often are you shampooings vs cowashing during the week? Your hair looks so hydrated 👏🏾

    • @rachaelcpr
      @rachaelcpr  Год назад

      Hi Myesha! How are you?
      At this point in this video. I had been shampooing about every other time I cleaned my hair. Right now, I have to shampoo each time I clean my hair. My hair got increasingly most. So I have to remove the oils that build up.

    Your curls came out so beautifully!! I love your highlights too! Is that a permanent color? I would love to color my hair but I'm so afraid of it. I haven't colored my hair in years. It always seems to loosen my texture and damage my strands. But your colored hair looks so healthy and shiny.

    • @rachaelcpr
      @rachaelcpr  Год назад

      Hi Melissa! Thank you so much! Yes, this is permanent color. I only colored the ends. Color can be scary. I have been keeping up with my conditioning treatments to keep it right. I want to go a touch lighter on the very tips, but I don't want to push it to far.
      You have such soft hair, I can only imagine that the color takes away a lot of your texture. I added a little coconut oil into my hair before adding the color. I don't know if that helps, but it made me feel better about it. Lol!
